The timing of this video is definitely Jesus answering a question because I've been getting hit left and right with the craziest thoughts lately. I've been asking God for forgiveness and help and this video just let's me know agian that The Lord hears me!! God Is So Awesome!!!! Love you all!!

I happen to know for a fact from personal experience that Satan can plant thoughts into our minds. Many years ago when I was involved in an inductive verse by verse Bible study, I was growing in my knowledge and my relationship with God. On one side it was a wonderful period because I was so in love with Him and His word and I was growing by leaps and bounds. But then I started having these thoughts that plagued me nearly every waking hour. It brought me down emotionally and mentally. They were relentless and the worst thing about it is that I thought the thoughts were my own. And I believed them. This carried on for two years. During that period I never told a single soul, not even my husband. The only one that knew what I was dealing with was the Lord. One day I was taking a nap and the second I woke up, it was like my mind became barraged with the thoughts like someone opened up a dam and the thoughts started flooding in. That was the last straw. I grabbed my head in mental agony and I cried out to God that I could not take it anymore. It was torturous but still, I thought they were just my own thoughts. A few days after that day I was in church and my pastor’s wife was praying in front of the congregation and she stopped and started saying that someone is the congregation was being attacked by these thoughts and she described in detail what I had been going through for the past two years. She stated that they were thoughts from the enemy and said what I needed to do to overcome this. Knowing that these thoughts were from the enemy made a huge difference to me because I finally understood what was going on. So therefore I don’t agree that it doesn’t matter where the thoughts are coming from. It made a difference to me. And this was during a time when I was in fact drawing closer to God. I think that was the very reason for the attack. He saw my growth and was trying to steal, kill and destroy me mentally and emotionally because of it. Praise God that He pulled me out of it.
Yes! I left my testimony above (or somewhere on here, lol). God let me hear them! Once I was more conscious, I went from devastated to aware & comforted once I knew they weren't my thoughts. They really feel like they're yours, but they aren't.
@La Morena I am also of the same opinion. And even now, after 15 years with the Lord, I'll be watching the birds in my backyard or a great animal program on tv, and a horrific thought/visual will pop into my mind of a bird getting smashed or a beautiful animal getting hurt. I rebuke the devil and ask God to help me with these horrid images. I love people and animals and would never want to hurt them or see them suffering or in pain. But, Satan does. He hates God and His creation. So, I know these thoughts are not my secret desire to harm; they are definitely nasty attacks from our enemy. The devil will do whatever he can to steal our joy, and a big way is through mental anguish. To me, that's the worst. And he sees what we're doing it watching, and he just goes from there.
Your story is amazing and a perfect spot-on example of how Satan can and does put ungodly or destructive thoughts in our minds. The purpose is to rob, kill and destroy. He wants to rob us of the joy that is in our heart and the peace that is in our mind. Satan does not want us to become closer to God, more obedient to God or to spread the gospel message and help others. One biblical proof I can offer to prove that Satan can influence our thoughts is that during the millennium kingdom after the tribulation when Christ will rule and reign for 1,000 years, Satan will be bound for that 1,000 year period and he will not be able to influence people or the world. So if Satan can't influence our thoughts then what would be the benefit or purpose of him being bound up?

Well, how does Satan influence the world system? How does he tempt people? How does he deceive the whole world, as the Bible says? He doesn’t audibly speak. If he isn’t planting the thoughts, then how?
For anyone on a purity journey, don't be discouraged by these thoughts. This year I made a commitment to God to get rid of all sexual impurity in my life however small and at first these thoughts were overwhelming. Now four months into this commitment they are fading fast. I was so ashamed to talk to God about this because I had so many doubting, lustful, even blasphemous thoughts just come into my mind, but don't be ashamed. I find it helps to confess and repent as each thought comes in. Lastly, focus on all the small sins. The more little things you take care of like judgemental thinking, swearing etc, the more your overall walk with God will improve. God bless all of you!
Amen. You are not alone! And don't feel ashamed to talk to God, even if you are in the midst of temptation or even sin. As soon as you are aware, cry out to Him. He is faithful to help us! I know from much experience👍

Wow, this one spoke to me. Last night I had a battle with lust and ultimately given onto porn. I felt so disgusted and I prayed hard and cried last night asking God for forgiveness and asking why I keep falling into sin. I prayed for over an hour. Begged him to take it completely away from me. Asked him to speak to me in my dream or give me some sign. I felt at peace after that and I praised God before I went to sleep. Then as I was listening to some sermons here at work (I'm currently at work as I write this) I stumbled across this video. What is crazy, is that this video is a couple of hours ago... Thank you so much for this video. You're a true man of the lord.
When temptation comes you have to replace it with something else. Go for a short walk and listen to gospel music to restore your mind on Christ. It will be a battle of the mind, but each day you refrain is a victory.
Hello Brother, I've been there before... I used to be a slave of sins but Jesus set me free. Without him I would not be able to win the battle but Jesus holds the victory and he will set you free from your sins. You aren't alone! Baby steps, with Jesus of course. We live by faith, and only thru God's strength. I had such a hard time, having had sexual abuse from 4 yrs old. It was very ingrained in me, and I didn't know how to stop. God was gentle with me and strengthened me, step by step, against this. He is ever present, and I know it every second of the day. As soon as you are aware, call out to Him for help. He will help you! Even if you fall, call, call again. He has His hand outreached to you. As long as you reach for Him, He will grab your hand. You will be amazed how, no matter how heavy the darts are being thrown at you, you will be slowly & steadily strengthened against it. Don't let shame stop you; we will not be perfect until we cross over to heaven. Here, we overcome. Have a long distance hug😊💗 It's hard and frustrating. But less so when you understand God is helping you, and not condemning you😇💗🤴

Great point. I grew up w the mentality of "the devil made me do it". Unfortunately, blaming the devil did no help me change. When I understood how thoughts are influenced by inner desires, it helped me look inwardly, search my heart and seek God for areas in my life I needed to change.

I understand this too Satan doesn't put thoughts in our minds but he can influence us . The thoughts comes from our own desires or other things around us. Just like if I see man an I say he's sent but I'm with someone else In my mind I start to think thoughts that shouldn't be there. Sometimes when I had these intrusive evil thoughts I would just keep saying in my mind I take every thought captive to obey Christ as soon as I senses it coming up and it took a little bit but they went away.
One thing I’d do that’s helped alot is acknowledging that the thought is heinous and I’m choosing to not even allow the thought, fear or guilt fester bcus it was a distraction.
My thoughts are horrible like telling me I should hurt my family and I never would do that to anyone I wouldn't even hurt a fly..but I decided to say a scripture the one that says "sumbit to God, resist the devil and he will flee" and it went away but they keep coming back over and over again I have the Holy Ghost so I shouldn't be afraid of evil which I'm trying to ignore them my parents know and church actually really helps God can do anything!!💜I use to have sucidal thoughts also..
Next time, say out loud and command the demons leave you alone. Command the demons to go to the Pit, stay there and await their judgment. Show them who's boss. (Jesus gave us authority over demons)
I haven't mastered this area. Sometimes I have total control over myself othertimes I completely fall apart. Praise the Lord who is very patient and kind with me. He incourage me to start living right to him again right after I fall apart.

"Take every thought captive." I haven't watched your video, and I may or may not, I just know in my own life recently (as in the last three days), this verse has become EXTREMELY important. I also know that, whether Satan plants these thoughts or not, the command is the same: take it captive, and make it obedient to Christ. Sorry if I'm rehashing what you said in the video, but the timing of both this video and what God has been teaching me this week was too much to pass up.

Hi there WingedHussar. I just saw your post, and wanted to comment. The best thing you can do as a believer, is take it to God in prayer first and foremost to ask Him how He would want you to handle your schoolmates, then if you're able , request a sit down with your Dad and Mom and tell them what you have been going through, and then if it's needed, bring it before the counselor at your school to have a meeting with your parents, the parents of the students who are causing you strife, along with those individual students. I certainly had my share of bullies throughout my many years of school life, even as a professional student when in nursing school, and I wasn't born again yet at those times. Avoid handling it on your own, because it will only bring more strife. I will pray for you! Hang in there, and rebuke the devil that is trying to prevent you from learning,etc. God bless you!! If you have any steam left, I certainly can use a prayer to help my unbelieving Mom to say yes to Christ so she can have some peace in her every day life as she has a health condition which is just plain awful, and she needs the healing from God's hand! @@jenex5608 Not necessarily, I believe that school actually equips you well for living life as a Christian in the outside world as long as you have a sound foundation. Home school may help children avoid the bad things in our world but it won’t train them to show their faith in difficult environments and to be prepared for some of the negative things we encounter as Christians. There are benifits and negatives to both homeschooling and normal school

As believers we should submit to God then resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. I am ready to get my glorified body in heaven to get rid of this self old sinful nature forever
I firmly believe he can put thoughts in our minds. I was going through a tough time a year ago and would be thinking or focusing on things like you said in the intro even praying and a random thought would come out of nowhere reminding me what my spouse had done. They were not my thoughts. Local Pastor that was counseling us gave me a piece of advice that worked. Everytime I had one of those random thoughts out of nowhere about what she had done I replied out loud “yea and you had me doing equally as bad and worse but Praise Jesus for taking our sins on himself on the cross and Praise God for that redemption and forgiveness.” Those thoughts almost immediately ceased not just in the moment but in a short time for good. Satan doesn’t like trying to tempt or attack you if his attacks turn into Praise of Christ. He may try a different approach but if the one he’s attacking you with leads to that it will end. He doesn’t want to push you closer to God.
Memorizing scripture and reciting it when tempted is another way to fight the works of the devil. "Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee"
Indeed. The Scriptures themselves (to recite, think on, quote aloud) & the principles that they plant roots of inside us. That Word is the "sword of the Spirit" (Eph 6)

Great video! Learned a lot. I recently watch a movie, about Jesus as a child. And showed Santan whispering in people's ears. I really didn't know what to think about it, since I am a new Christian. I always say, " santan, get under my feet, in Jesus's name". Don't remember, where or when I learned that, but it works for me. Gets me back to focusing on my praying or whatever else I am doing.
I have demons I struggle with. They don't control me, but are sent by Satan to attack my faith. I have intrusive thoughts of regret about my marriage and that condemn my husband. I drive them out in Yeshuah's name by the power of the Holy Ghost and they're gone, and instead I'm filled with a profound sense of peace and comfort knowing my Father married me to this man for His purpose
@@marty8722 I can kinda relate to you. I regret my marriage. Looking back, there were a ton of red flags. I think something evil attached himself to my husband. He now has no moral compass and denounces God. He walked out, a week after I was diagnosed with Lupus. And from what I have witness, his behavior, has just gotten worse.

Wow I agree. Because even when satan tempted Jesus, he couldn't implant thoughts into his head but used things around him to try to get Him to sin against God. This is why the enemy works through celebrities to try and influence the masses. And also, things which makes us sin are now more than ever easily accessible.
WOW! Allen, I saw the title and watched the video. I have been struggling with this lately, out of nowhere impure thoughts going to my mind. And I get so mad I’m like what are you thinking? This is happening to me periodically and I don’t know why, but I’ve saved that video and I’m gonna watch it a lot because I need the battle this. It causes me to doubt my faith, and I think at times I’m controlled by Satan. Thank you for posting this video Allen, I pray GOD forgives and helps me with this, I feel bitterly ashamed…..I literally say to myself “what is wrong with you”……Then five minutes later I’m thinking wonderful thoughts, and it’s completely out of my mind for a long time. It comes out of nowhere. I pray God helps me with this. And I’ll do the things you suggested.
I am grateful for this video, this happens to me not often but it happens unexpectedly when I'm reading scripture or during prayer. I've found that much praying is needed to combat this. I experience people acting as 👿👿 more than the thoughts, so put on the full armour of God and be protected ✝️ ⚔️ 🛡️ ⛑️ 🙏🏾
I'm watching this again because I thought of a time last year when I was on the phone with a friend in the clergy. While he was talking, a thought so strong popped into my head--"I HATE YOU AND I HATE YOUR GOD!!" that I gasped out loud (my friend didn't notice). After I hung up from him I was so ashamed of myself and felt so guilty! I prayed and asked Yah to forgive me because it wasn't MY thought. To this DAY I still feel bad about it. Saints, please pray for me against the enemy!

If something nasty comes into my mind, I throw it away. Those thoughts come to everyone, it's when you DWELL on it and KEEP thinking about it (like you said) that it becomes a sin. After I throw it away, I will sing a song to get it out of my head. Better deal if it's worship or praise! 🙂 try it

This is very helpful. I have OCD and have horrible thoughts a lot. I immediately get them out and crush them with God's help. I love that you said it doesn't matter how they get there but here's what you can do. I've written down all the verses and hopefully this will help. Thank you for this video.

Thank you so much brother Allen! I love how the Word of God is our most powerful tool and weapon against the enemy! When I feel trapped by evil thoughts I always call first on the name of JESUS, if possible aloud, that is very effective and proclaims His Lordship in my heart for all who need to hear it, including myself!
Great and solid as always! In addition to all you've said, for me, one thing I've realized is - the more I know God personally and His Word, the more I've been able to recognize the difference. Like you said, it's not about worrying "where" this thought came from; the bottom line is "knowing" the difference as to whether it's Godly or not. The most effective way for me in deciphering this, is in knowing God intimately (e.g., through His Word, His character, His ways, His voice, etc.) The more we know Him, the more we'll be able to tell the difference. This principle has also strengthened by knowing His voice too! Still growing in that part, but what I've shared, is how His Holy Spirit has helped me know this truth. Thanks again Allen!
Can you make a video about bad temper, anger and abuse. My ex husband is a believer and reads the Bible, but he has all these things. He still abuses me mentally with his bad temper and words! I’m so grateful that God parted us he was so horrible to me.

Be careful about the Anias and Saphira verses. The problem was not that they kept some of the money for themselves. Peter even says that when the land was theirs, they had the right to do with it as they saw fit, and after selling it, the same was true of the money. The problem was they claimed they sold it for less than they did, so they could appear more holy in their giving than they actually were.

I believe from personal experience that Satan can put thoughts into our minds. I went through a period of very dark depression during that time my mind was filled with thoughts about being unwanted, unloved, rejected, everyone being happier and better off if I were dead; worse than any of those thoughts and always when I was alone at night in the dark the thought that God had also rejected me. During that time when I would reach for my Bible I would have thoughts such as I'm so tired I should just skip reading my Bible today and go to sleep or God understands how tired I am He won't mind if I don't read my Bible today. After Jesus healed me He told me that had I given up on reading the Bible I would have given up on Him. Also during my battle with depression sometimes when I would start to pray the thought "why should you pray to God, look what He's doing to you" would pop into my head. I was also seeing images of me taking my own; whenever these images would pop into my mind I would cry out to Jesus saying either "Jesus help me" or "Jesus I need You". Every single time at the sound of Jesus' name the images would disappear as suddenly as they'd come. I believe all those thoughts and images were coming from Satan who was trying to get me to give up my faith and take my own life. I also believe that had I listened to him and given up reading my Bible I would be dead today because Jesus told me that I would have given up on Him. If I had given up on Jesus I would have had no one to cry out to whenever I was seeing images of me ending my own life. I'm so grateful to God that He gave me a love for His Word and the desire to make Bible reading a daily rather than a hit and miss part of my life many years before He allowed me to go through the storm on the Sea of Depression.
God bless you brother! I just repented and turned back to Christ again for the hundredth time this past week or so. The reason I kept failing in my faith was because I kept believing these thoughts that God doesn’t love me, he doesn’t want to forgive me, I did the unforgivable sin, I’m doomed and so on and so forth… I no longer am a simple man, but a prudent one. I will use this wisdom you gave from the bible and live it out. I will be on defence towards the enemy and the thoughts meant to harm me and rob me of my salvation. I use to believe these thoughts so much that I would quite coming back to the Lord and choose to live in my sin. No more! I’m praying for you Allen that God may bless you, I appreciate you and the effort you put in to this channel to help all of us who have questions.

I also watch what I watch. I am careful with regards to movies, tv shows, podcasts, etc. The eyes are the gateway to the heart (mind). If we watch and hear garbage then that will, at some point, influence our thoughts. King David said it best in Psalm 101:3 - "I will put not wicked thing before my eyes".

I’m glad you put out this video, because I’ve never seen it talked about before and am embarrassed to bring this up. There are times when some of the worst blasphemies just pop into my head, and it seems to happen when I pray or am having trying enjoy just being with the Lord. It’s not my voice, and don’t care to repeat it because it’s all LIES. It started happening several years after being saved, but it’s really started to cripple my walk with God. I’ve learned to ignore it when it happens, because giving it attention just seems to make it happen more. I will try to pull closer to God when it happens. I hope that works. It’s so frustrating to just try and give thanks to God, or pray, or just enjoy His company, and then have these evil lies just pop into my head and ruin it.
Next time you get those blasphemy thoughts. Say out loud. "I rebuke you ( blasphemy) spirit. As a child of God, I have authority over you. I command you leave me alone, I command you leave this household. I command you go to the pit, stay there and await your judgment, In Jesus name" Repeat this prayer until the thoughts go away. Demons can be stubborn. Be persistent.

I happen to know for a fact from personal experience that Satan can plant thoughts into our minds. Many years ago when I was involved in an inductive verse by verse Bible study, I was growing in my knowledge and my relationship with God. On one side it was a wonderful period because I was so in love with Him and His word and I was growing by leaps and bounds. But then I started having these thoughts that plagued me nearly every waking hour. It brought me down emotionally and mentally. They were relentless and the worst thing about it is that I thought the thoughts were my own. And I believed them. This carried on for two years. During that period I never told a single soul, not even my husband. The only one that knew what I was dealing with was the Lord. One day I was taking a nap and the second I woke up, it was like my mind became barraged with the thoughts like someone opened up a dam and the thoughts started flooding in. That was the last straw. I grabbed my head in mental agony and I cried out to God that I could not take it anymore. It was torturous but still, I thought they were just my own thoughts. A few days after that day I was in church and my pastor’s wife was praying in front of the congregation and she stopped and started saying that someone is the congregation was being attacked by these thoughts and she described in detail what I had been going through for the past two years. She stated that they were thoughts from the enemy and said what I needed to do to overcome this. Knowing that these thoughts were from the enemy made a huge difference to me because I finally understood what was going on. So therefore I don’t agree that it doesn’t matter where the thoughts are coming from. It made a difference to me. And this was during a time when I was in fact drawing closer to God. I think that was the very reason for the attack. He saw my growth and was trying to steal, kill and destroy me mentally and emotionally because of it. Praise God that He pulled me out of it.
Yes! I left my testimony above (or somewhere on here, lol). God let me hear them! Once I was more conscious, I went from devastated to aware & comforted once I knew they weren't my thoughts. They really feel like they're yours, but they aren't.
@La Morena I am also of the same opinion. And even now, after 15 years with the Lord, I'll be watching the birds in my backyard or a great animal program on tv, and a horrific thought/visual will pop into my mind of a bird getting smashed or a beautiful animal getting hurt. I rebuke the devil and ask God to help me with these horrid images. I love people and animals and would never want to hurt them or see them suffering or in pain. But, Satan does. He hates God and His creation. So, I know these thoughts are not my secret desire to harm; they are definitely nasty attacks from our enemy. The devil will do whatever he can to steal our joy, and a big way is through mental anguish. To me, that's the worst. And he sees what we're doing it watching, and he just goes from there.
Your story is amazing and a perfect spot-on example of how Satan can and does put ungodly or destructive thoughts in our minds. The purpose is to rob, kill and destroy. He wants to rob us of the joy that is in our heart and the peace that is in our mind. Satan does not want us to become closer to God, more obedient to God or to spread the gospel message and help others. One biblical proof I can offer to prove that Satan can influence our thoughts is that during the millennium kingdom after the tribulation when Christ will rule and reign for 1,000 years, Satan will be bound for that 1,000 year period and he will not be able to influence people or the world. So if Satan can't influence our thoughts then what would be the benefit or purpose of him being bound up?

Well, how does Satan influence the world system? How does he tempt people? How does he deceive the whole world, as the Bible says? He doesn’t audibly speak. If he isn’t planting the thoughts, then how?
For anyone on a purity journey, don't be discouraged by these thoughts. This year I made a commitment to God to get rid of all sexual impurity in my life however small and at first these thoughts were overwhelming. Now four months into this commitment they are fading fast. I was so ashamed to talk to God about this because I had so many doubting, lustful, even blasphemous thoughts just come into my mind, but don't be ashamed. I find it helps to confess and repent as each thought comes in. Lastly, focus on all the small sins. The more little things you take care of like judgemental thinking, swearing etc, the more your overall walk with God will improve. God bless all of you!

Wow, this one spoke to me. Last night I had a battle with lust and ultimately given onto porn. I felt so disgusted and I prayed hard and cried last night asking God for forgiveness and asking why I keep falling into sin. I prayed for over an hour. Begged him to take it completely away from me. Asked him to speak to me in my dream or give me some sign. I felt at peace after that and I praised God before I went to sleep. Then as I was listening to some sermons here at work (I'm currently at work as I write this) I stumbled across this video. What is crazy, is that this video is a couple of hours ago... Thank you so much for this video. You're a true man of the lord.

Hello Brother, I've been there before... I used to be a slave of sins but Jesus set me free. Without him I would not be able to win the battle but Jesus holds the victory and he will set you free from your sins. You aren't alone! Baby steps, with Jesus of course. We live by faith, and only thru God's strength. I had such a hard time, having had sexual abuse from 4 yrs old. It was very ingrained in me, and I didn't know how to stop. God was gentle with me and strengthened me, step by step, against this. He is ever present, and I know it every second of the day. As soon as you are aware, call out to Him for help. He will help you! Even if you fall, call, call again. He has His hand outreached to you. As long as you reach for Him, He will grab your hand. You will be amazed how, no matter how heavy the darts are being thrown at you, you will be slowly & steadily strengthened against it. Don't let shame stop you; we will not be perfect until we cross over to heaven. Here, we overcome. Have a long distance hug😊💗 It's hard and frustrating. But less so when you understand God is helping you, and not condemning you😇💗🤴

Great point. I grew up w the mentality of "the devil made me do it". Unfortunately, blaming the devil did no help me change. When I understood how thoughts are influenced by inner desires, it helped me look inwardly, search my heart and seek God for areas in my life I needed to change.

Sometimes when I had these intrusive evil thoughts I would just keep saying in my mind I take every thought captive to obey Christ as soon as I senses it coming up and it took a little bit but they went away.
It takes a discerning spirit to identify these thoughts an separate them from the Holy Spirit inside us. Good going :)
One thing I’d do that’s helped alot is acknowledging that the thought is heinous and I’m choosing to not even allow the thought, fear or guilt fester bcus it was a distraction.

My thoughts are horrible like telling me I should hurt my family and I never would do that to anyone I wouldn't even hurt a fly..but I decided to say a scripture the one that says "sumbit to God, resist the devil and he will flee" and it went away but they keep coming back over and over again I have the Holy Ghost so I shouldn't be afraid of evil which I'm trying to ignore them my parents know and church actually really helps God can do anything!!💜I use to have sucidal thoughts also..
Next time, say out loud and command the demons leave you alone. Command the demons to go to the Pit, stay there and await their judgment.

"Take every thought captive." I haven't watched your video, and I may or may not, I just know in my own life recently (as in the last three days), this verse has become EXTREMELY important. I also know that, whether Satan plants these thoughts or not, the command is the same: take it captive, and make it obedient to Christ. Sorry if I'm rehashing what you said in the video, but the timing of both this video and what God has been teaching me this week was too much to pass up.

The best thing you can do as a believer, is take it to God in prayer first and foremost to ask Him how He would want you to handle your schoolmates, then if you're able , request a sit down with your Dad and Mom and tell them what you have been going through, and then if it's needed, bring it before the counselor at your school to have a meeting with your parents, the parents of the students who are causing you strife, along with those individual students. I certainly had my share of bullies throughout my many years of school life, even as a professional student when in nursing school, and I wasn't born again yet at those times. Avoid handling it on your own, because it will only bring more strife. I will pray for you! Hang in there, and rebuke the devil that is trying to prevent you from learning,etc. God bless you!! If you have any steam left, I certainly can use a prayer to help my unbelieving Mom to say yes to Christ so she can have some peace in her every day life as she has a health condition which is just plain awful, and she needs the healing from God's hand! @@jenex5608 Not necessarily, I believe that school actually equips you well for living life as a Christian in the outside world as long as you have a sound foundation. Home school may help children avoid the bad things in our world but it won’t train them to show their faith in difficult environments and to be prepared for some of the negative things we encounter as Christians. There are benifits and negatives to both homeschooling and normal school

I firmly believe he can put thoughts in our minds. I was going through a tough time a year ago and would be thinking or focusing on things like you said in the intro even praying and a random thought would come out of nowhere reminding me what my spouse had done. They were not my thoughts. Local Pastor that was counseling us gave me a piece of advice that worked. Everytime I had one of those random thoughts out of nowhere about what she had done I replied out loud “yea and you had me doing equally as bad and worse but Praise Jesus for taking our sins on himself on the cross and Praise God for that redemption and forgiveness.” Those thoughts almost immediately ceased not just in the moment but in a short time for good. Satan doesn’t like trying to tempt or attack you if his attacks turn into Praise of Christ. He may try a different approach but if the one he’s attacking you with leads to that it will end. He doesn’t want to push you closer to God.
Resist him and he will flee.

I recently watch a movie, about Jesus as a child. And showed Santan whispering in people's ears. I really didn't know what to think about it, since I am a new Christian.
I always say, " santan, get under my feet, in Jesus's name". Don't remember, where or when I learned that, but it works for me. Gets me back to focusing on my praying or whatever else I am doing.
I have demons I struggle with. They don't control me, but are sent by Satan to attack my faith. I have intrusive thoughts of regret about my marriage and that condemn my husband. I drive them out in Yeshuah's name by the power of the Holy Ghost and they're gone, and instead I'm filled with a profound sense of peace and comfort knowing my Father married me to this man for His purpose

I think something evil attached himself to my husband. He now has no moral compass and denounces God. He walked out, a week after I was diagnosed with Lupus. And from what I have witness, his behavior, has just gotten worse.

I am grateful for this video, this happens to me not often but it happens unexpectedly when I'm reading scripture or during prayer. I've found that much praying is needed to combat this. I'm watching this again because I thought of a time last year when I was on the phone with a friend in the clergy. While he was talking, a thought so strong popped into my head--"I HATE YOU AND I HATE YOUR GOD!!" that I gasped out loud (my friend didn't notice). After I hung up from him I was so ashamed of myself and felt so guilty! I prayed and asked Yah to forgive me because it wasn't MY thought. To this DAY I still feel bad about it.
Saints, please pray for me against the enemy!

If something nasty comes into my mind, I throw it away. Those thoughts come to everyone, it's when you DWELL on it and KEEP thinking about it (like you said) that it becomes a sin.
After I throw it away, I will sing a song to get it out of my head. Better deal if it's worship or praise! 🙂 try it

This is very helpful. I have OCD and have horrible thoughts a lot. I immediately get them out and crush them with God's help. I love that you said it doesn't matter how they get there but here's what you can do. I've written down all the verses and hopefully this will help. Thank you for this video.

Thank you so much brother Allen! I love how the Word of God is our most powerful tool and weapon against the enemy! When I feel trapped by evil thoughts I always call first on the name of JESUS, if possible aloud, that is very effective and proclaims His Lordship in my heart for all who need to hear it, including myself!
Great and solid as always! In addition to all you've said, for me, one thing I've realized is - the more I know God personally and His Word, the more I've been able to recognize the difference. Like you said, it's not about worrying "where" this thought came from; the bottom line is "knowing" the difference as to whether it's Godly or not. The most effective way for me in deciphering this, is in knowing God intimately (e.g., through His Word, His character, His ways, His voice, etc.) The more we know Him, the more we'll be able to tell the difference. This principle has also strengthened by knowing His voice too! Still growing in that part, but what I've shared, is how His Holy Spirit has helped me know this truth. Thanks again Allen!

Be careful about the Anias and Saphira verses. The problem was not that they kept some of the money for themselves. Peter even says that when the land was theirs, they had the right to do with it as they saw fit, and after selling it, the same was true of the money. The problem was they claimed they sold it for less than they did, so they could appear more holy in their giving than they actually were.

I believe from personal experience that Satan can put thoughts into our minds. I went through a period of very dark depression during that time my mind was filled with thoughts about being unwanted, unloved, rejected, everyone being happier and better off if I were dead; worse than any of those thoughts and always when I was alone at night in the dark the thought that God had also rejected me. During that time when I would reach for my Bible I would have thoughts such as I'm so tired I should just skip reading my Bible today and go to sleep or God understands how tired I am He won't mind if I don't read my Bible today. After Jesus healed me He told me that had I given up on reading the Bible I would have given up on Him.
Also during my battle with depression sometimes when I would start to pray the thought "why should you pray to God, look what He's doing to you" would pop into my head. I was also seeing images of me taking my own; whenever these images would pop into my mind I would cry out to Jesus saying either "Jesus help me" or "Jesus I need You". Every single time at the sound of Jesus' name the images would disappear as suddenly as they'd come.
I believe all those thoughts and images were coming from Satan who was trying to get me to give up my faith and take my own life. I also believe that had I listened to him and given up reading my Bible I would be dead today because Jesus told me that I would have given up on Him. If I had given up on Jesus I would have had no one to cry out to whenever I was seeing images of me ending my own life. I'm so grateful to God that He gave me a love for His Word and the desire to make Bible reading a daily rather than a hit and miss part of my life many years before He allowed me to go through the storm on the Sea of Depression.

God bless you brother! I just repented and turned back to Christ again for the hundredth time this past week or so.
The reason I kept failing in my faith was because I kept believing these thoughts that God doesn’t love me, he doesn’t want to forgive me, I did the unforgivable sin, I’m doomed and so on and so forth…
I no longer am a simple man, but a prudent one.
I will use this wisdom you gave from the bible and live it out.
I will be on defence towards the enemy and the thoughts meant to harm me and rob me of my salvation.
I use to believe these thoughts so much that I would quite coming back to the Lord and choose to live in my sin. No more!

I also watch what I watch. I am careful with regards to movies, tv shows, podcasts, etc. The eyes are the gateway to the heart (mind). If we watch and hear garbage then that will, at some point, influence our thoughts. King David said it best in Psalm 101:3 - "I will put not wicked thing before my eyes".

Bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5b). In a way, it doesn't matter whether the temptation comes by the World, by your flesh or directly from the devil. Submit yourself to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

I’m glad you put out this video, because I’ve never seen it talked about before and am embarrassed to bring this up. There are times when some of the worst blasphemies just pop into my head, and it seems to happen when I pray or am having trying enjoy just being with the Lord. It’s not my voice, and don’t care to repeat it because it’s all LIES. It started happening several years after being saved, but it’s really started to cripple my walk with God. I’ve learned to ignore it when it happens, because giving it attention just seems to make it happen more. I will try to pull closer to God when it happens. I hope that works. It’s so frustrating to just try and give thanks to God, or pray, or just enjoy His company, and then have these evil lies just pop into my head and ruin it.
Next time you get those blasphemy thoughts. Say out loud. "I rebuke you ( blasphemy) spirit. As a child of God, I have authority over you. I command you leave me alone, I command you leave this household. I command you go to the pit, stay there and await your judgment, In Jesus name"
Repeat this prayer until the thoughts go away. Demons can be stubborn. Be persistent.
