Thank you for the great video. I don't wonna be the guy but your helper has a really pleasant voice and she's great with the camera work, direction and production of the video. Congrats to the two of you for making such amazing simple videos.
Hey man..Thanks for all the Hyundai videos! I got a 2001 tibby 2 years ago and your videos have saved me numerous times so I really appreciate it... I had the evap canister problem (tank wouldn't fill and purgevalve jammed).. I dropped the tank and cleaned everything out and replaced the purge valve problem solved... Around the time the canister burst I developed a rough idle and a low end misfire so I replaced plugs and fuel filter a week before I dropped the tank but it didn't fix the misfire... I drove it for a month after and it began to be harder to start than normal and then yesterday it cranks but won't start at all.. I checked spark by pulling each plug 1 by 1 and grounding it and cranking it .. All had spark .. I went on to test fuel pressure but can't find a decent place to tap into.. I pulled the seat out to examine the pump.. I have power to the pump at the connector (pink wire) when cranking and in on position but couldn't hear the pump so figured it failed. I pulled feed lineoff the pump and turned the key on and the pump shot gas out so I think it works (should I be able to hear it?) Lastly, I checked if it jumped time by pulling plug #1 and the top timing cover to check tdc with the cam marks and all is good... I'm out of ideas ... I'll take any suggestions you got ... Thanks again
Crank sensor should be the issue if fuel spark is there . Crank sensor is on the front of the engine has 10mm bolt holding it think i have a video where i replaced it on my Silver 00 Tiburon
Thanks for the info. I have the same problem with my vehicle constantly stopping and the gas gushing out of my vehicle. I had someone take my gas tank down and remove a piece out of it. I was wondering if it was part of the fuel filter.
yep just replaced the evap can and fuel filter with a tank flush on my wifes santa fe, what shitty parts now adays but we keep doin what we must have a great day @@PATuners

I’m wondering if you had to drop your tank?
How often does a fuel filter need to be replaced in this Hyundai for preventative maintenance?
id do it every 24,000 miles
