Attention all! Different process on OS Ventura.
    1. Shut down, open terminal and put in: csrutil disable (You may be asked for a password, enter it, then you’ll be asked Y/N put in Y then click enter.)
    2. Go out of terminal in your top bar options select utilities (where you found terminal), click security (top option), open security, under permissible access (the bottom of the 3 screen options, you didn’t have this option before) you’ll want to select the top box of the 2 options given. This is a necessary step if you skip it then this won’t work.
    3. Restart from Apple logo and then go try it again. After opening the Kext it will need to be allowed 2 times in security (have this open when installing kext) then it will restart.
    4. Open Dji assistant and it should work. I just spent 2 hours doing this process over again to make it work.
(Sorry for re posting this, wouldn’t let me update with more clarity after pin)
    Good luck!
    -Ryan

This worked on my MacBook Air M2 running Ventura!! - so thank you!!! Should I uninstall the package? HoRNDIS-Kext , or just leave it? Also, do we need to manually re-enable csrutil? That part wasn't clear to me. Thanks again to everyone involved in solving this.

All I did was go back into recovery mode and reset the SIP. However when there was a further update I did have to reset this process and worked no problem. I would keep the zip files just incase.

Quick note for all who might read the OC, you will not be able to root using a mac, only update the firmware of the goggles/air unit. I just attempted this the last week and Mac does not have the ability to grab the goggles on Boot. Use a windows for this if you want to get it done and save time.

Hey Patrick. I have the classic FPV remote. I had no issues updating that. As for the remote 2 I have for one to test. If DJI assistant isn’t recognising it could be a cable issue. I used to have the classic controller and never had any issues getting that one to be recognized by my Mac either. Not sure what is so different about the 2. I can get it to pair with the Avata but it won't get recognized in the Fly app (I'm guessing bc of the firmware issue).

Is this so you can just get flying? If so just update to latest firmware.

@@SeeFPv-qm6ie I think this is a bug and when you switch modes it resets the goggles and have to re-bind. This happened to me and Joshua Bardwell mentioned this too. Nothing we can do about it and DJI create a fix. I know it’s annoying.
