Hi everyone, this is JD, your gadget review friend.
We're reviewing a lot of phones from Nokia and Huawei and revisiting the original OnePlus Nord this next couple week but today we're going to compare the Samsung S10e vs Sony Xperia Mark 2. Samsung S10e is my well loved 2 year old phone that I use to record my personal youtube channel because of its awesome video recording capability while Sony Xperia 5 ii is Sony's flagship right now that tries to emulate professional camera in manual mode.
One of our viewers requested this so thought it will be helpful. We will compare both photos and videos and see what the differences are, and who's better. Who will win? Hey dont forget to subscribe my friend. Lets go!

Can you do a comparison of Sony with PhotoPro Auto mode vs. Pixel?
Hi Ben! I have a comparison video of it- Xperia 5 ii vs Pixel 5 yeaaaah! But it was done in auto mode. sorry. I'll try your request some other time. In Photo Pro its almost the same look I tried it and sometimes I think the auto mode makes better judgement than me dialing in. I will post that video soon! Just have some scheduled video to post to balance everything out on the channel. Have to review new phones and my promise to provide more videos of older phones.

you're actually right! haha! I noticed that too when I'm testing Xperia with Huawei P20. Sony Xperia 5 ii is soft in low light. I will upload that video soon. I'll be the villain again hahaha!!!

Come on! S10e is not a level of 5ii. 5ii is on the same level of 1ii, that means you should compare it with S20. Of course it uses different way to take a picture, but it is comparable
We compare new phones vs new phones and old phones vs new phones so we can compare xperia 5 ii with any old phones.
That's our niche. If we keep comparing new phones there are millions of RUclips channels doing it.

now I use Huawei Mate 20 pro. I am not sure if it is one of the best cameras like many people say. In the past I had Sony Xperia X Compact, it has the same camera with another X series, which were before XZ's. Sony loses only in point of algorithms, but I think if we take old sensors of Sony and connect with algorithms of Pixel for example, we can take much better results.
So, if you compare old with new, please do it with old Sony phones. For example: X compact with 23mpx vs something new with 108 mpx (I don't remember what exactly has this)

there might be a subtle differences between the two but I think it performs almost the same. I heard SD version is a bit better ✌️😉
ahhh... good question. what do you need? a bigger screen and battery (s20 fe) or smaller phone factor and headphone jack (s10e)?
