Disney Dave, did you notice on the scene right after the sisters suck the life out of binx’s Sister, the sister moved! In the back in the chair when the witches are celebrating them being young before they got hanged. I think it’s a funny blooper that the sis is shuffling around while she is dead.

Another fun trivia fact, I played the Little Angel that says “Bless you” but I originally auditioned for Emily Binx but was deemed not right for the part so the director Kenny Ortega liked me enough to make me the Little Angel part!

and she looks pretty amazing, I managed to catch her on tour & saw her performing this
MARC SHAIMAN did an AWESOME job arranging that upbeat version of the song! It’s the only version i like. He did all the orchestral arrangement for Hairspray, and the hymns-turned pop oldies in Sister Act. He’s amazing.

Billy was dead 3 centuries, and some morticians used salt in preserving the dead, salt can mummify corpses, totally possible for Billy to be mummified. :P

To me it's weird to think that she sings that song considering she was Annie.
This was a version of Edgar Allen Poe's poem

Saw it in theater with my parents when it came out. One of my best memories. Still one of my dads favorite movies too. He loves spooky stuff. His dad used to scare them when they were kids. He’s hide in the closet and stuff

Some deleted scenes are on the blu ray. I was 2 yrs old when Hocus Pocus came out. I was Sarah for Halloween in 2017 & I dressed up as her last year at Witchfest & this year at a Halloween party I wanna dress up as her. I remember watching this movie as a child.

The movie. came out in July 1993 I think it was. so it will be 27 years old this july
Fun fact: Jason Marsden voices Thackery Binx, not Sean Murray who plays Binx in the movie bc they felt Murray didn’t quite have the colonial era sound they were looking for.

I loved this movie , watched with my kids and Grand children. Such good memories ❤️ To this day we watch it every Halloween with my youngest son Robert and his two kids 18 and 5 , my oldest son Stevie and I watched Bram Stoker's Dracula till he passed on November 18 /98 We watched it for the last time that October 🥀.

I had not seen this movie before I started watching NCIS, so I was pleasantly surprised to see Sean as a kid in the movie. I think it was one of his first acting jobs.

Thank u for posting this! I was just turned 12 when this came out. It was my fave Halloween movie & I must've watched it a thousand times! Max was my crush! Anyway I just finished watching it & wow what a nostalgic night for watching this very funny & sweet movie!

Fun Fact: The Man7 Woman who played a couple are actually brother & sister. Sadly, the man who played the devil died a few years ago

The line " Hello Salem, my name is Winifred what's yours" is not a take from "Here she is World, here's Rose" albeit it is reference to the Musical Gypsy, it is in fact Rose's daughter Baby June who says " Hello my name is June what's yours" as an into to "Let me Entertain You "
I played Baby June in 1992 in a Production.

Here's a fact:
The song Almost Unreal; performed by Roxette, was originally made to be on The End Credits. But got transferred to The Super Mario Brothers Movie starring Bob Hopkins, John Leguizamo, and Dennis Hopper. The lyrics were slightly reworked to remove most of references to Hocus Pocus. 😅

If you live near a Target store they sell a hardcover book based off of the movie Hocus Pocus! It came with a sequel to Hocus Pocus: "Witch Please!" ( In time Max and Allison marry and have a daughter Poppy who well would have her own run in with the Sanderson sisters, and let's just say the Sanderson sisters have a good sister Elizabeth)
