I don't get why people say this. The first 3 season villains were all speedsters. SEason 4 had a super good villain and everyone acts like DeVoe is bad. So far every time I say this, I don't get a response on an answer. What is it about villains like DeVoe and Ramsey that's bad? Is it cause they aren't speedsters as well? 🤔
@@TheBitTV DeVoe's design was just so bad, the chair looked dumb, his leather outfit was trash. Barry had also gotten too fast, season 4 was the first time it started annoying me that Barry would just fall over and let villains get away. There was just a slight bit of groundedness to the first couple seasons (not much, but it was there) and in season 3 we started to lose it, but by season 4 it was completely gone. We had Flying Samurai Robots, full on Power rangers stuff. It's not just the Villians, it's the overall Tone.
Same as Green Arrow , show started great, but with each next season it bacame more kids friendly and power of friendship wins kinda stuff that kinda gets boring fast, i personally love The boys and First season of Green arrow where we had dark killing asassin plot, than a team work makes the dream work kids show that we got at the end .
I remember Barry showing off to Iris and getting food from France in less than 2 secs but when he needs to travel around the city to save folks it seems to take him minutes. Doesn't make a lick of sense.
It doesn't make sense because in the final season they seemed to have completely disregarded their own continuity and their own established rules on how everything works. *Especially* in the final four-parter. I spent the entire time sitting there groaning to myself things like "no, that's not how time travel works in this show..." and "but wait, doesn't that completely contradict what happened in that other episode?" 🙄🥺
When they had the episode where they drugged out a nuclear bomb going off for 40 minutes, it was hard to believe how incompetent The Flash as a hero actually is. People just run down a hall way and throu a door and he's like "aw geez golly whiz they got away, aw shucks, time to go have coffee named after me" when he could search the entire city four times over in a minute and know EXACTLY where this person went 30 seconds ago
I was so disappointed to not see one final race with Barry and Thawne. Also it could’ve been a really interesting to have a scene with Nora and evil Barry in the Savitar suit. I didn’t really care about Godspeed but Zoom was also a huge disappointment.
Come on it's the cw flash what did you expected i honestly expected to see a finale like that and in my opinion this show should have ended in 2017 at the end of season 3 when barry entered the speed force to save everyone

Last season was extremely disappointing but not surprised. At least it had 2 decent episodes. Arrow wasn’t perfect but they actually tried to wrap up the show nicely in the final season.
Yeah I think it's easily the worst season of the show, and that's saying something as the show dropped off. If they were going to bring the 4 big villain speedsters back they should have just done it early in the season. Watching the rest of the flash team just casually dispatch the 4 speedsters was so disappointing. They all got way too powerful yet also made just dumb decisions all the time.
It's like the writers room at the CW is populated with former teenage girls who grew upon Tiger Beat magazines and "hanging out" at the mall as the life experiences they draw up on. Flash Seasons 4-9 were just steaming hot piles of ...
Really thought the finale would result in one more timeline change right before Nora is born, being replaced by twins instead (Don and Dawn), and finally paying off the “we’re gonna need more diapers” line
The fact they got pregnant early means that Nora shouldn't have been born, it should have been a different person that they "made" (/cough). This was established as what happens when you mess with time travel and pregnancies when Barry had to explain to Diggle that his child had changed gender and Diggle got really angry with him because Barry essentially killed his kid. So, that should have happened here, too.

Man, talk about missed opportunies. - We didn't get Letscher Thawne and Barry going against each other through the years. I was just dissapointed seeing Wells Thawne repeatedly. 9x10 is my case why Letscher Thawne made sense - All the bad guys went down too easily to the nonspeedsters!? As a fan of the comics, I was always hoping it would evolve to Grant Gustin playing Thwayne. I kind of thought that was where they were going at the end of "Crisis on Earth-X" when Thwayne made the comment about "wonder what face I'll be wearing next time we meet".
at first I thought the same. But think about it many if not all of them have powered up way beyond the power the used to have, some from 2049 so it made perfect sense

At one point, this was one of my favorite shows on TV. About four or five years ago, it jumped the shark big time. I hadn't watched since then. Watching this confusing mess makes me realize that I haven't missed much. Wow ... what a speed force dumpster fire. Still, kudos to the always amazing Grant Gustin, Danielle Panabaker ❤, Jesse Martin and Tom Cavanaugh for always providing outstanding performances even when the writing crashed and burned.
exctly the same thing with me, stopped watching after that mulyiverse crap they threw at the show. Iris's character was a nightmare to watch just hated every frame she was in and Nora was crap and most of the writing was daily soap.
Seasons 1 and 2 were fun ... One was VERY promising because Barry seemed nerdy, funny, adventurous and Thawne menacing and intelligent and the tone believable but with good lighter moments. From series 3 onwards it was rapid decline into drama as believable as the Bold and The Beautiful/Days of Our Lives or something and the powers, lore, costumes etc were weird and bad. IMHO savitar is the plot going off the deep end. Thawne had tried to prove Barry was a few traumatic events from becoming a bad guy and the Savitar arc literally proves it
I stopped watching the Flash from season 5, and the Walking dead from season 8 when Rick left. I've noticed that many of These popular Tv Shows has lost Their Mojo, not to mention that Trainwreck of an ending Game of Thrones.
Apparently Grant got covid so thats why theres been so little of Barry but likes hes the main character if you can't use him you gotta push back the premiere like seriously maybe take some break but the Cw didnt care about this show anymore and they just wanted it to end. I like Grant's acting. I really do. But the TV show really started going downwards from season 4 and the writers clearly put absolutely no effort into trying to make it better.
Went downhill after season 4, went further downhill when it became Iris & Friends, then even further when they got rid of Elongated Man for some RL shit that just didn't matter (thanks cancel culture) then it was just rinse and repeat with a lower budget. The only decent episode was the crossover cameo with the Snyderverse. CGI took a massive nose dive, the costumes looked cheap and 80's in comparison. Fail to see why they changed the suit .
Truly a terrible ending for a show. The only seasons that were good was seasons 1-3. Season 4 was mid, and Season 5 and above were terrible. I for one am happy it is over.
Yep, it was clear they were phoning it in. The writing fell off a cliff, and the actors who played Nora and Barry just didn't want to be there anymore, and it showed.

It sucks Bart along with Cisco weren't in it, no follow up to the new multiverse, and Gustin didn't end up in the DCEU universe like the movie and TV series STRONGLY were hinting. Truly a bummer and Zoom and Savitar were defeated way too easily.
The final season was mostly a mess. And the finale was awful. The final arc started out strong, with Grant Gustin giving one of his strongest performances, showing how Barry has made peace with the fate of his parents and moved beyond his conflict with Eobard. But once the story shifts its focus to Eddie Thawne the story goes downhill, culminating in the laughably bad and disappointing final episode.
I think the actors got tired after season 6 which explains a lot of the actors being missing in several episodes of season 6 and 7. I honestly lost interest during season 5. I noticed a lot of inconsistencies and poor plots. Losing the actor Carlos Valdes aka Cisco/Vibe really put a nail in the coffin for me. I feel he really kept a positive "vibe" (no pun intended) which kept the audience interest with his funny jokes and lighthearted humor which kept the show from going dark like Arrow was. They tried with new characters but it wasnt the same. His presence kept the good natured culture of the team together. Bùt overall I love the show and Im looking foward to seeing Grant in future projects. Hopefully he'll have a chance to do a cameo in future D.C. Flash movies.
My issue with the finale is that, its rushed, ITS REALLY rushed. Rather than making this a Season-Long Story, they decided to split it into 2 and call it a day. The graphic novel system only works if the season is like 20+ episodes long, rather than just 13. - Red Death being brought back to life from a dead universe to fight flash in order for the negative speedforce to gain power and bring back Eddie Thawne. (3 episodes) - Godspeed and Zoom then shows up and terrorizes the city (4 Episodes) - Savitar comes by after the negative speed force has had enough and decided to kill barry (Another 3 Episodes) - Eobard Thawne then races to the past to eradicate barry, as the negative speedforce's decided to erase him from existence. Episode 1 Thawne attempts to murder barry's mother. Episode 2, its essentially just the Flash Finish Line comic ending all over again. (2 Episodes) - Eddie thawnes back and he ends up being the final villain, fighting him accross time until they end up in 2013 and barry defeats him. Then Barry Realized that his fight with thawne shifted the events of 2013 (When barry got his powers) to the point that barry never got struck by lightning or he missed it, so barry ends up throwing a speedforce infused lightning bolt at his younger self, completely closing the loop and returns to the future in the nick of time for Nora's birth. (2 Episodes) THAT IS HOW THE WHOLE SEASON SHOULD BE.
I was a 1st time Arrowverse viewer, watching the 4 main shows, Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends. I finally reached the end with Flash's series finale just last week and I thought the 4-part finale was fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. Parts 1 and 3 were done well, but 2 and 4 were very disappointing
Amell returning for the teamup was great for the final season. It's tough to end a series that has all but ran out of things to explore. Enjoyed the run.
It was like the whole season. Flash was either not in it wearing a costume. If in it. For a lot of episodes. It was about promoting others. Then go all in at the end. Just worry about including everyone in a way that shows how stupid it can be done. So many badly written parts in the ending. But it was never about quality story this season. Even Cisco couldn't save this ending.
I miss the Arrowverse. It was not perfect but I will always be a fan. Flash was always full of hope while Arrow was just the best way to spend my time.

I stuck with it all the way though and now that it's over I'm sad to see it end but considering how season 9 went its probably for the best and I have come to one conclusion, that Eric Wallace should never be allowed to be anywhere near flash material ever again he may have given us episode 10 of season 9 one of the best episodes of the series but for every one or two great episodes a season during his tenure came horrible decisions like red death prioritizing Cecile over Barry in his own show 🙄 what he did to godspeed, made reverse flash into a power ranger. It's frustrating because Eric wallace was capable of giving us great flash content like episode 10 of season 9 but he made side characters that nobody but himself liked more important than Barry which is inexcusable and he should never touch the flash character or probably any super hero character ever again because for every good decision he made he makes a decision like bringing back the batwoman actress who can only act like a temper tantrum throwing child that uses classic lines form previous batmen to make fans cringe in the worst way possible he should be fired for that decision alone but there are more like humanizing all the forces and making having them call Barry and Iris mom and dad in a very cringe manner is utterly ridiculous a child could have done better with that. What it boils down to with Wallace is he was very inconsistent (I understand it's hard to have 20-23 great episodes on a season I mean that's just not gonna happen outside of season 1) but he actually did the impossible and made what I think is the worst final season of all time because he had four episodes after the awful red death arc where he could have begun to work on cobalt blue but no he wanted to push side character arcs in the final freaking season that not a single person liked and then under developed cobalt blue who should have been more impscful since it was Eddie coming back and then wallace literally just threw zoom godspeed and savitar just for the sake of them being in there only to be defeated by non speedsters whom they easily could have taken out and could have given us a proper 4v1 against Barry and had Barry overcome it naturally but no let's make Cecile overpowered more powerful out of nowhere no development whatsoever better than Barry cause why not. And I know I've ranted alot if you've made it this far I apologize but this is just me venting on a completely waisted potential for a great wrap up for a show and wallace should be held accountable for ruining it all because he wanted to force people to like characters he had 3-4 years to develop but wasted that time also but decided hey I'm running out of time let's use these extra episodes that could be used to better develop cobalt blue on Cecile and company. And I do like Cecile as a side character but the decision to make her op and a full time super hero throwing her into stories even if she doesn't fit very well just for the heck of it is ridiculous she was much better when she was the D.A. But it's in the past it was a great run it just was fumbled during the final stretch but I still enjoyed all 9 years we got with most of the characters. Rant over.

Would have been funny for the show to do a one-shot of the "villains playing poker" story. You know, villains trash talking over a game of poker and it devolving into what's the worst city to try to set up shop and all the vets saying, "Central City," and then telling the rest *why*. LOL
The episode when Oliver came back was elite an amazing episode was a few good episodes but I do feel like the ending was rushed as non speedsters destroyed the villains which were op during they’re seasons as the main villains they could have spent more time leading up to the villains instead of filler episode but overall the flash as whole was really good a lot better than the marvel series
The ending was absolutely horrendous. It started off SO promising in Part 1. Then it came crashing down. Part 4 was beyond pathetic. Eric Wallace totally destroyed this once great show. In my opinion, Seasons 1-3 were the best, Season 4 was pretty good, Season 5 wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible, Seasons 6/7/8/9 were downright unwatchable.
Season 1-4 were good. Season 4 they were hanging on by their fingertips. I stopped watching after season 5, i just couldn't finish it. I didn't even finish season 5.
The last couple of years since the collapse of the CW’s DC vision has been pretty bad. I stopped watching The flash after season 7 with that horrible mirror villian, and I just can’t get into Walker; I wonder if Chuck Norris regrets letting the CW use the name. Now the new owners of the CW have made things even worse by cancelling some of the best shows like Stargirl and Legacies! I am surprised that Superman and Lois hasn’t been cancelled yet…..
Absolutely awful. The series started out so great with its first couple seasons... and ended up as a large bowl of diarrhea soup in the end. There is a TON that can be said to be why it got so bad, or why the first 2 were so good despite their flaws, while the rest of the seasons had almost nothing redeemable about them. I will simply put it as "Other Characters". The first 2 seasons were about...*shocker*... The Flash. Barry Allen. I believe it was Season 3, or maybe Season 4. But it opened with thee absolute worst character/actress in the show... randomly now being "the leader". Barry's character gave up a LOT so hers could get more spotlight, and that right there set the tone for EVERYTHING that was wrong with the rest of the series. The show about The Flash, was no longer about him and focused way WAYYYYY too much on side characters. The cast got more and more bloated each season from inorganically injecting too many women because "modern politics/hollywood". And they spent WAYYY too much time giving screen time to those characters that... beside not being the Flash... the character you are there to watch... They were EXTREMELY TERRIBLE. It's a miracle I held on as long as I did, but I quit in like S6 when they were trying to replace Cisco with Chuck, and they were wasting so much time on Chuck, Allegra... and the Chuck+Allegra romance that I didn't want, didn't care for, and found... I would rather not watch the show anymore at all rather then sit through that mind numbing drivel.
I feel like they could’ve ended things a lot better and they shouldn’t have done these fillers and graphic novels storylines. They should’ve went back to basics by how they were the first 5 seasons by having a villain for the whole season and yet taken a lot more seriously
I was hoping that all of the CW Superheroes got back together again for a final fight as the Justice League and somehow have a Batman cameo or something… this ending was terrible.

The Flash went on 4 years too long. Like all of the CW Arrowverse shows it became tedious. Like all other Arrowverse shows you will never ever see most of these C lister actors again. And finally, we will never be subjected to shoe horning the phrase "level up" into dialogue.
I loved the show's ending was very warm, and hopeful and was sad to see the end of the Arrow verse that was an end of an era, that was bitter sweet 💚💖💙
This is another one of those series that took the original material and creates its own spin. After watching 5-6 seasons, I gave up on the melodrama and the women empowerment message in there.
I'm going to miss this show and the arrowverse as a whole I at least hope that there will be more cw dctv shows even if they're not part of the arrowverse

As a fan of the comics, I was always hoping it would evolve to Grant Gustin playing Thwayne. I kind of thought that was where they were going at the end of "Crisis on Earth-X" when Thwayne made the comment about "wonder what face I'll be wearing next time we meet".

Its so unbelievable team flash beat 4 big bad speedsters from previous seasons and cobalt blue. It was so ridiculous how easy they were beaten!

Why would they struggle? They’ve literally already beat them, so they know their strengths and weaknesses, meaning they’d have no trouble winning. The only one who can pose a challenge is Thawne, but his hubris and ego was his undoing

At one point, this was one of my favorite shows on TV. About four or five years ago, it jumped the shark big time. I hadn't watched since then. Watching this confusing mess makes me realize that I haven't missed much. Wow ... what a speed force dumpster fire. Still, kudos to the always amazing Grant Gustin, Danielle Panabaker ❤, Jesse Martin and Tom Cavanaugh for always providing outstanding performances even when the writing crashed and burned.

Seasons 1 and 2 were fun ... One was VERY promising because Barry seemed nerdy, funny, adventurous and Thawne menacing and intelligent and the tone believable but with good lighter moments.
From series 3 onwards it was rapid decline into drama as believable as the Bold and The Beautiful/Days of Our Lives or something and the powers, lore, costumes etc were weird and bad.
IMHO savitar is the plot going off the deep end. Thawne had tried to prove Barry was a few traumatic events from becoming a bad guy and the Savitar arc literally proves it
I stopped watching the Flash from season 5, and the Walking dead from season 8 when Rick left. I've noticed that many of These popular Tv Shows has lost Their Mojo, not to mention that Trainwreck of an ending Game of Thrones.
I never seen GoT and laughed when the fans got so upset at the end. A year or so later, Karma got me. Supernatural had a terrible ending.
Apparently Grant got covid so thats why theres been so little of Barry but likes hes the main character if you can't use him you gotta push back the premiere like seriously maybe take some break but the Cw didnt care about this show anymore and they just wanted it to end. I like Grant's acting. I really do. But the TV show really started going downwards from season 4 and the writers clearly put absolutely no effort into trying to make it better.
Went downhill after season 4, went further downhill when it became Iris & Friends, then even further when they got rid of Elongated Man for some RL shit that just didn't matter (thanks cancel culture) then it was just rinse and repeat with a lower budget. The only decent episode was the crossover cameo with the Snyderverse. CGI took a massive nose dive, the costumes looked cheap and 80's in comparison. Fail to see why they changed the suit .

Truly a terrible ending for a show. The only seasons that were good was seasons 1-3. Season 4 was mid, and Season 5 and above were terrible. I for one am happy it is over.
Yep, it was clear they were phoning it in. The writing fell off a cliff, and the actors who played Nora and Barry just didn't want to be there anymore, and it showed.

It sucks Bart along with Cisco weren't in it, no follow up to the new multiverse, and Gustin didn't end up in the DCEU universe like the movie and TV series STRONGLY were hinting. Truly a bummer and Zoom and Savitar were defeated way too easily.
The final season was mostly a mess. And the finale was awful.
The final arc started out strong, with Grant Gustin giving one of his strongest performances, showing how Barry has made peace with the fate of his parents and moved beyond his conflict with Eobard. But once the story shifts its focus to Eddie Thawne the story goes downhill, culminating in the laughably bad and disappointing final episode.
All the show needed was a Speed Force Sharknado. Or Speed Force Beebo!
That Wallace bloke should hopefully never be seen again. I hope he gets a successful job in a corner shop somewhere.

The biggest joke is others were still watching this show as if it didn’t become trash seasons ago.
I think the actors got tired after season 6 which explains a lot of the actors being missing in several episodes of season 6 and 7. I honestly lost interest during season 5. I noticed a lot of inconsistencies and poor plots. Losing the actor Carlos Valdes aka Cisco/Vibe really put a nail in the coffin for me. I feel he really kept a positive "vibe" (no pun intended) which kept the audience interest with his funny jokes and lighthearted humor which kept the show from going dark like Arrow was. They tried with new characters but it wasnt the same. His presence kept the good natured culture of the team together. Bùt overall I love the show and Im looking foward to seeing Grant in future projects. Hopefully he'll have a chance to do a cameo in future D.C. Flash movies.
My issue with the finale is that, its rushed, ITS REALLY rushed. Rather than making this a Season-Long Story, they decided to split it into 2 and call it a day. The graphic novel system only works if the season is like 20+ episodes long, rather than just 13.
- Red Death being brought back to life from a dead universe to fight flash in order for the negative speedforce to gain power and bring back Eddie Thawne. (3 episodes)
- Godspeed and Zoom then shows up and terrorizes the city (4 Episodes)
- Savitar comes by after the negative speed force has had enough and decided to kill barry (Another 3 Episodes)
- Eobard Thawne then races to the past to eradicate barry, as the negative speedforce's decided to erase him from existence. Episode 1 Thawne attempts to murder barry's mother. Episode 2, its essentially just the Flash Finish Line comic ending all over again. (2 Episodes)
- Eddie thawnes back and he ends up being the final villain, fighting him accross time until they end up in 2013 and barry defeats him. Then Barry Realized that his fight with thawne shifted the events of 2013 (When barry got his powers) to the point that barry never got struck by lightning or he missed it, so barry ends up throwing a speedforce infused lightning bolt at his younger self, completely closing the loop and returns to the future in the nick of time for Nora's birth. (2 Episodes)
THAT IS HOW THE WHOLE SEASON SHOULD BE.
They should have cancelled this after season 4 and put more effort into legends of tomorrow.

The flash was supposed to die in crisis. Oh, it did, like basically after the multiverse collapsed it basically killed the good parts of the show.
I was a 1st time Arrowverse viewer, watching the 4 main shows, Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends. I finally reached the end with Flash's series finale just last week and I thought the 4-part finale was fine. Not great, not bad, just fine. Parts 1 and 3 were done well, but 2 and 4 were very disappointing
Amell returning for the teamup was great for the final season. It's tough to end a series that has all but ran out of things to explore. Enjoyed the run.
It was like the whole season. Flash was either not in it wearing a costume. If in it. For a lot of episodes. It was about promoting others. Then go all in at the end. Just worry about including everyone in a way that shows how stupid it can be done. So many badly written parts in the ending. But it was never about quality story this season. Even Cisco couldn't save this ending.
I was watching it thinking there was another episode..I thought it was gonna end with running faster than the speed of light..
I miss the Arrowverse. It was not perfect but I will always be a fan. Flash was always full of hope while Arrow was just the best way to spend my time.

I stuck with it all the way though and now that it's over I'm sad to see it end but considering how season 9 went its probably for the best and I have come to one conclusion, that Eric Wallace should never be allowed to be anywhere near flash material ever again he may have given us episode 10 of season 9 one of the best episodes of the series but for every one or two great episodes a season during his tenure came horrible decisions like red death prioritizing Cecile over Barry in his own show 🙄 what he did to godspeed, made reverse flash into a power ranger. It's frustrating because Eric wallace was capable of giving us great flash content like episode 10 of season 9 but he made side characters that nobody but himself liked more important than Barry which is inexcusable and he should never touch the flash character or probably any super hero character ever again because for every good decision he made he makes a decision like bringing back the batwoman actress who can only act like a temper tantrum throwing child that uses classic lines form previous batmen to make fans cringe in the worst way possible he should be fired for that decision alone but there are more like humanizing all the forces and making having them call Barry and Iris mom and dad in a very cringe manner is utterly ridiculous a child could have done better with that. What it boils down to with Wallace is he was very inconsistent (I understand it's hard to have 20-23 great episodes on a season I mean that's just not gonna happen outside of season 1) but he actually did the impossible and made what I think is the worst final season of all time because he had four episodes after the awful red death arc where he could have begun to work on cobalt blue but no he wanted to push side character arcs in the final freaking season that not a single person liked and then under developed cobalt blue who should have been more impscful since it was Eddie coming back and then wallace literally just threw zoom godspeed and savitar just for the sake of them being in there only to be defeated by non speedsters whom they easily could have taken out and could have given us a proper 4v1 against Barry and had Barry overcome it naturally but no let's make Cecile overpowered more powerful out of nowhere no development whatsoever better than Barry cause why not. And I know I've ranted alot if you've made it this far I apologize but this is just me venting on a completely waisted potential for a great wrap up for a show and wallace should be held accountable for ruining it all because he wanted to force people to like characters he had 3-4 years to develop but wasted that time also but decided hey I'm running out of time let's use these extra episodes that could be used to better develop cobalt blue on Cecile and company. And I do like Cecile as a side character but the decision to make her op and a full time super hero throwing her into stories even if she doesn't fit very well just for the heck of it is ridiculous she was much better when she was the D.A. But it's in the past it was a great run it just was fumbled during the final stretch but I still enjoyed all 9 years we got with most of the characters. Rant over.

This last season really sucked, they just rushed through it and it felt like since it was the last season they didn't have to do much and how Sysco didn't come back for the finale, that was his best friend and a major part of the team 🤷🏾♂️

The episode when Oliver came back was elite an amazing episode was a few good episodes but I do feel like the ending was rushed as non speedsters destroyed the villains which were op during they’re seasons as the main villains they could have spent more time leading up to the villains instead of filler episode but overall the flash as whole was really good a lot better than the marvel series

The ending was absolutely horrendous. It started off SO promising in Part 1. Then it came crashing down. Part 4 was beyond pathetic.
Eric Wallace totally destroyed this once great show. In my opinion, Seasons 1-3 were the best, Season 4 was pretty good, Season 5 wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible, Seasons 6/7/8/9 were downright unwatchable.

The last couple of years since the collapse of the CW’s DC vision has been pretty bad. I stopped watching The flash after season 7 with that horrible mirror villian, and I just can’t get into Walker; I wonder if Chuck Norris regrets letting the CW use the name. Now the new owners of the CW have made things even worse by cancelling some of the best shows like Stargirl and Legacies! I am surprised that Superman and Lois hasn’t been cancelled yet…..

Absolutely awful. The series started out so great with its first couple seasons... and ended up as a large bowl of diarrhea soup in the end.
There is a TON that can be said to be why it got so bad, or why the first 2 were so good despite their flaws, while the rest of the seasons had almost nothing redeemable about them.
I will simply put it as "Other Characters".
The first 2 seasons were about...*shocker*... The Flash. Barry Allen. I believe it was Season 3, or maybe Season 4. But it opened with thee absolute worst character/actress in the show... randomly now being "the leader". Barry's character gave up a LOT so hers could get more spotlight, and that right there set the tone for EVERYTHING that was wrong with the rest of the series. The show about The Flash, was no longer about him and focused way WAYYYYY too much on side characters. The cast got more and more bloated each season from inorganically injecting too many women because "modern politics/hollywood". And they spent WAYYY too much time giving screen time to those characters that... beside not being the Flash... the character you are there to watch... They were EXTREMELY TERRIBLE.
It's a miracle I held on as long as I did, but I quit in like S6 when they were trying to replace Cisco with Chuck, and they were wasting so much time on Chuck, Allegra... and the Chuck+Allegra romance that I didn't want, didn't care for, and found... I would rather not watch the show anymore at all rather then sit through that mind numbing drivel.

The Flash went on 4 years too long. Like all of the CW Arrowverse shows it became tedious. Like all other Arrowverse shows you will never ever see most of these C lister actors again. And finally, we will never be subjected to shoe horning the phrase "level up" into dialogue.
Gods this show went bonkers after season 1.

This is another one of those series that took the original material and creates its own spin. After watching 5-6 seasons, I gave up on the melodrama and the women empowerment message in there.
I'm going to miss this show and the arrowverse as a whole I at least hope that there will be more cw dctv shows even if they're not part of the arrowverse
We had Gotham Knights, but it got absolutely review bombed in the same way Batwoman did, so it's been cancelled :-( I really liked it, as well!
