All I'm saying is that I will never forgive this show for introducing Patty Spivot, a officer into forensics that had unbelievable chemistry with Barry only to shelve her for Iris as it was predestined that those two got together.
Kudos for pushing through this. Despite this being a really good recap, it shows how disjointed so many of these arc are, how often the solution is overly simple after a whole season of trial and error and new (and sometimes old) characters never appear again without consequence. Barry, both as a character and a superhero, hardly evolved in the show just for the sake of otherwise becoming too overpowered, too experienced, kept repeating the same mistakes... Crisis made an even bigger mess of all the DCTV shows, and while it served a purpose in the comics, it was just something that happened in the shows - the consequences often being contradicting or just being there for an episode of two, but often the results being completely ignored moving forward (same with lots of Barry's time travel, that only served for a few episodes of drama or when the writers remembered it to be a thing). Why they made a point in the crossover Crisis to have all DC heroes end up on one Earth when they then obviously didn't have the budget or logistic means to actually use it, is a mystery to me (just so they could use and market a famous comic book event?); Crisis was pointless and inconsequential aside from the narrative plotholes it left [in DCSG it resulted in essentially nullifying the first 4-5 seasons; e.g. a flashback added on that Prime-Earth Kara had been using her powers (incl. flying) as a teen, so the very pilot should have happened differently and she had a bf who knew about her powers then which would also have changed many many of the character driven plot points about both her romantic life and double-identity issues in the earlier seasons]. Even in the Flash there were some later throwbacks to earlier season that should not have happened, several characters should not have remembered them, either due to Barry's time-travel changes or Crisis, while other times it was used as a handwash short-route to explain "well, it must have happened in the new past". Because of Crisis aliens did exist alongside meta--humans from the start. And, oh, don't get me started on all the arbitrary ways they kept bringing the Reverse Flash back, when he previously was supposedly defeated for good... ...somehow I watched the whole series, so despite all my complaints it was entertaining. But oftentimes it was like watching a car-crash happening in slow motion...
the show ended in a mid way tbh, i was expecting more bad stuff to happen but everything happened in season 9 ended with the power of love and friendship.
I lost interest in Season 6 after the Crisis when they said that only people who helped save the multiverse would remember it but a lot more people than that remembered it
The show was so good for three seasons! Then it slowly lost its identity and it felt like the writers gave up and just wanted the show to end, but because the audience was still invested because of the great first three seasons, the show kept getting renewed. Really wish it ended sooner and didn’t drag this long.
Halfway thru this video and it’s clear the entire series can be summed up by saying it’s all team flashes fault lol. They created all the issues they saved the world from lol
I don't care what anyone says, I will forever love the Flash tv series. I also love the animated series Flash, but not so much the new movie Flash. I am very emotionally attached to the series Flash, watched every single episode, and love so dearly.

I was a fan of Flash early on I even managed to get to the Mirrorverse season. I think what hurt the storylines and creativity was really after the Covid hiatus. The show was never able to regain momentum and the storylines became too repetitive. The cast and crew did well while it lasted tho..
Thank you for explaining the best tv show in television history, the strongest plot, and the best characters. /s But thank you, I do like this show lol.
I totally forgot that season 5 did the weird 2 story arc thing where the first arc would conclude before the second half of the season begins. This wasn’t even due to a writers’ strike.

Jay Garrick was the flash of earth 3. Which was kind of a plot hole or just something never explained as it implies Zoom/Hunter had a way to travel between worlds prior to the singularity.

Cecile was the worst thing to happen on The Flash
Why?? Lol
@@jakemaloney8513 If she wasn't in the show, how would the show change
on paper it all sounds so good...but reality is often dissapointing
the show ended in a mid way tbh, i was expecting more bad stuff to happen but everything happened in season 9 ended with the power of love and friendship.
I lost interest in Season 6 after the Crisis when they said that only people who helped save the multiverse would remember it but a lot more people than that remembered it
Season 1 was great! I rewatch it alot!
You gained a sub with this video. Sending light and love to all!!!
Fantastic recap!
The show was so good for three seasons! Then it slowly lost its identity and it felt like the writers gave up and just wanted the show to end, but because the audience was still invested because of the great first three seasons, the show kept getting renewed. Really wish it ended sooner and didn’t drag this long.
Please do the rest of the Arrowverse. 💕
you are truly amazing. outstanding work!!
Lol the power of love 😂
4:32 I thought the black hole was the universe freaking out at Eobard getting deleted despite being critical to the new history.
Halfway thru this video and it’s clear the entire series can be summed up by saying it’s all team flashes fault lol. They created all the issues they saved the world from lol
I loved this show, but got burnt out on it but mid seventh season. So... recap it is!
Thanks for the video!!
I don't care what anyone says, I will forever love the Flash tv series. I also love the animated series Flash, but not so much the new movie Flash. I am very emotionally attached to the series Flash, watched every single episode, and love so dearly.
The last episode I saw was the finale for Season 01. "The universe will always need a Wells" is literally why I watched Flash to begin with haha. The initial "team Flash s01" cast carried this show.
EDIT: 36:15 this "creating a blue-haired evil deity out of the brunette goodie" is literaly stolen from the Angel tv show... Damn what a throwback
watching this I realize why I never made it past the second season.
Season 3 is good and 4 isn't negative. I understand 5-9 though. I stopped halfway through season 6 because it got annoying
“She helps revive the speed force with the power of love.” . “She helps revive the speed force with the power of love.” .
Love how absolutely dead inside he sounds when he starts talking about the first Arc of the final season. Why couldn't they find a better actress for Red Death?!
i mean... you couldn't find a valid reason to whine about the show so you went with this
@@KuroAceVTBut it was genuinely terrible. Almost like you want to infer OP is racists despite the character being awesome in the comics but bad here
@@A.Froster did we watch the same show? cus in the show **I** watched, Red Death was fine. you really cant use the comics as an excuse cus guess what, THAT IS HOW ADAPTATIONS WORK! changing things from the comics to fit the context of the story being told
The acting felt way too over the top and not in a good way. It could work if she was playing a version of BWL and with a better script, but Red Death isn't suppose to be that.
I will ask for an Arrow recap, also maybe supernatural. This makes way easier to relive series that watching it all over again
as someone who watched the seasons until season 6 cuz it was trash this really informed me
Every conflict from season 7 and onward was resolved through convincing and saying "please stop being a bad guy"
Take a shot every time Reverse Flash gets erased from existence
Thank you for this.
I've watched the first 5 seasons like, 5 times and always start getting tired of it, but still wanted to know what was going on, but couldn't bring myself to do it again XD
I got so much 2nd hand embarrassment from this
The rainbow of Forces and rainbow of Lantern Corps will forever be peak derp to me
I really enjoyed this series, mainly because of the cast. They really screwed up recasting the flash for the movies and not using Grant. I refuse to watch the flash film due to that. I also like the fact they let Kevin Smith work on a few episodes.
Grant isn't a movie level star
@@williampearson6299 what makes someone a movie level star
@@Euvoia Would you put Smallville's Tom Wellington in the same league as George Clooney? No.
@@williampearson6299 they have played different characters, are different ages, live in different locations and I have not seen Tom Welling’s work
But I think I get your point, but again, what makes a movie level actor?
@William Pearson Ezra Miller isn't a movie star either. Most of his roles are supporting roles and he is a terrible casting choice for flash.
The longer you listen to this video, the more ridiculous you realize the series is. It’s also hilarious seeing all the comments of people talking about when exactly they gave up on the show 💀 I think I made it to 5 or 6 before I clocked out hahaha
Dam I keep seeing the flash clips on shorts and I used to keep up with the flash the arrow and supergirl at one point but it was too much to watch so hopefully this can satisfy my knowledge thirst to know what happened
It's like the writers Scooby-Doo decided to write for the flash of DC comics I'm so glad I didn't waste my time watching the whole series
Can you recap all the Arrowverse shows? There were just too many to keep up..
Fact
Bro, that was so much information. It felt like I plugged my brain to a computer programmed to download 9 seasons of a movie😂 each having nothing less than 20 episodes.
What's with this "power of love" thing anyway. I thought unexplainable phenomenons in sci-fi movies where always termed "quantum" or at best "future advancement".
I'm so glad I didn't go through with downloading and watching the entire series, I got bored in season 5, not like i completed every season from season 1. So glad I found your video.....saved me alot of time 👍
I dropped this shit around season 4... Just the phrase "restore the speedforce with the power of love" is making me glad I did it... God damn it CW...
Anyone feeling empty inside now that’s it’s over?
Yep
especially with how it ended
I felt empty after season 5
39:45 you come down the stairs and see these mfs what’s your next move
Get on your knees and pray to God because none of these guys care if u live or die 😅
this is cool but isnt the real Jay garrick from earth 3?
Was about to comment this too, JG travelled to E2 for some reason which led to him getting captured, always some mistakes in these videos
I watched The Flash and the Arrow up to season 3, Supergirl up to season 2, and Legends of Tomorrow up to season 1. After that, I only tuned in for the multiverse crossover episodes.
Thanks for the recap-it saved me from sitting through the rest of the crap and told me the whole story.
So... Flash goes missing in crisis is nothing?
As much as Harrison was my favorite character, I got tired of seeing him come back every single season as a different person 😂
Can we get a recap for Arrow?? :)
The channel already has one
Jay Garrick was the flash of earth 3. Which was kind of a plot hole or just something never explained as it implies Zoom/Hunter had a way to travel between worlds prior to the singularity.
Evil speedsters attack. Barry reveals his secret ID. Barry and/or iris lies to someone on Team Flash. Time travel. And deaths that get undone.
This^^^
I hate the amount of speedsters there are in the show. "My name is Barry Allen and I'm the fastest man alive.......... except I'm not and there's like 10 other speedsters". It was cool with reverse flash and zoom but after that it kinda got annoying.
Some villains from the earlier seasons would have easily be perfect villains for the later or even the final season.
