OKAY TIMELINE Should have started with the story of the gods from legacies and how magic was brought down to earth leading to the creation of magic, monsters and witches. Then the creation of hell by the devil as well as all the creatures like sirens to help in soul collection Then the creation of the immortal Silas Then moved on to Originals and the creation of werewolves by curse. Then the creation of original vampires Then the creation of Malivore by the triad to suck all the monsters Then the creation of the hunters
That last episode of the Originals got me good 🥲 been a fan of TVD & Originals since 2010 junior yr hs, my boys ripped me for watching this every Thursday 😂😂😂
Always thought of tvd as a show for teens. Originals being more darker, nothing like a story of two brothers sticking together start to finish. Original’s definitely takes the win for finale tho 🙌🏻
@@ScytheX32 you think the originals is darker than the vampire diaries??? I’ve watched all three shows and in terms of darkness it’s TVD, Legacies, then the OGs
Well then there’s something out of tune with your sense of darkness. Tvd is about a teen girl who can’t pick between two brothers which leads to a ripple effect that spans generations of doppelgängers with the same thing happening to them to keep the show running. Originals is about one unpredictably reckless brother and his more mature younger brother both immortal for a thousand years one creating enemies and one trying to fix his older brother. Legacies ain’t nothing as dark as og or tvd. Just another anakin story where they fear one characters outcome
Before 'The Vampire Diaries' became a popular television series, it originated as a book series that captured the essence of the 90s. The books explored themes relevant to teenagers but delved into more adult subjects, featuring intense, gory violence, supernatural elements, and deep romantic entanglements. I believe Julie Plec, who was a teenager in the 90s, fell in love with this captivating world and sought to adapt the books into a series, bringing those intense narratives to the screen ?
1. Bonnie didnt tell elena to go for Stefan, she wasnt big fan of him because she was starting to come in tuned with her magic. 2. Stefan and Damons dad didnt kill Kathrine because of her relationship with his sons. He was apart of the city council... who wanted to rid their town of vampires (Kathrine was the cause of this too) and when they went to round up all the vampires, Damon and stefan tried to save Kathrine and was shot by their father out of his hatred for vampires (they failed, and thought she had died). What Damon and stefan didnt know was Kathrine was secretly feeding them her blood but would compel the brothers to forget afterwards.. well she only really compelled stefan.. damon knew what she was. 3. Vicky doesnt leave tyler for jeremy. She breaks up with him bc of his annoying actions. 4. Anna tries to get jeremy into helping her find her mom. 5. Stefan doesnt get a new found addiction. He doesnt drink blood from a human, because it turns him ito a ripper. A ripper is a vampire who tears their victim limbs from their body after draining them of their blood. 6. John is Jeremy uncle. He is Elena's birth father. 7. Rebekah, runs matt and tyler off the road, she doesnt sacrifce herself to save all vamps. She dies with danons boold in her system after telling stefan to take matt.
not Edward but Stefan physically and character wise reminds me of Angel (Buffy/Angel series) because he is a 'good' vampire, consumed by shame for what he has done and has the 'dark' side of himself (Ripper) who does terrible things - a dual persona Whereas Damon is akin to Spike - unapologetically morally dubious and bad ass and sassy
The only thing is that Elena didn’t sacrifice herself when she was tethered to evil rick. Rebecca tried to off her to put an end to Rick after he stabbed Klaus
I enjoyed this video it’s was cool seeing the evolution of these characters, it would also be cool to do a timeline of the events that happen before the vampire diaries, the flashbacks and references that happened in the past from the three shows, it would be a long video so it might be split up into parts, am I the only one that things this would be cool. A prologue to this video , to the start of the first episode of the vampire diaries, to see how everything came to be from a fan of these shows. Comment yes or no to this idea
TO season 2 Finn doesn’t try to kill Klaus because he wants to rule the French quarter he wants to kill Klaus because he hates that his family are vampires
Well, technically, Rebekah is responsible for killing Elena. Rebekah vamped sped into the road, ready wanting to kill Elena after Klaus seemingly died; Matt swerved on reflex, and the car went off the bridge. Elena was trapped in her seat belt underwater, and Matt was unconscious. Stefan wanted to save Elena, but Elena wanted him to save Matt first. He refused and went towards her; she insisted that Matt be saved first. He relented and saved Matt, but Elena accidentally drowned without freeing herself before Stefan returned. Sacrificing her safety and eventually her life to protect her friend first. Alaric dying is more like a bonus which would have happened anyway if Rebekah and Elijah had actually got their hands on her. Also, for the people who still don't know why Stefan couldn't save both Elena and Matt with his super strength, its because Vampires are weaker in water. The show has actually made casual, offhand references to this, mostly Damon being snarky-like how he dissed Twilight in early season 1. This concept originates from actual Eastern European vampire lore, which was further popularized by Dracula. Damon even references it again in season 4, after Vampire Elena tried to burn herself in the sun due to the hunter curse. He mentioned that hard it was to carry both herself and him after he threw Elena into the river, and that dragging her through the river exhausted him.
I was expecting better... i thought this was going to show the entire timeline all the way from 2 thousand years ago when silas and amara first created immortality and when the warewolf curse was born. Then up to the originals birth..1000 years later... you know . A true history of the lore in ascending order... not some bullshit season by season recap.. weve seen this kind of recap 100s of times at this point😂. I tot this video was going to be something more special

I know it’s a summary, but compared to the other videos on this channel (etc. Supernatural), these 3 shows seem to be an endless cycle of new monsters/villains which are quickly defeated before rises in the ashes. There doesn’t seem to be any character development for all 3 shows, despite there being over one hundred named characters, which IG is typical for CW. The only development we get is the big bads get poorly written redemption ‘arcs’ before swiftly becoming evil again for “evil” reasons.
Season 1,2,3,4,5 Are so good. I always can just rewatch them over and over But the rest I get bored and hella confused and I still haven’t finished watching the show. I’ve only gotten up to season 9 before going back to rewatch season 1.
This video was an incredible idea, however having watched all of the TVD seasons and the Originals, I think the narration along with the scenes depicted don't actually match up. Some details or info was left out, for example the fact that Damon was captured in the past by the Augustines as a test subject. Extremely impressive execution however!
How come did Katrina drink the blood to become human and died.. But demon drink that same blood and live a happy long life with Elena? Can someone please explain that part?
Something about the years catching up to you after taking it. Katherine lived way longer than Damon. That’s another reason Rebecca could never take the cure
@@bmodedane8207 actually it's because Katherine got the cure sucked out of her by silas and that cause the start of the aging but time did catch up with her. and damon never got the cure sucked out of him. but elena wasnt a vampire that long so it didn't effect her.🎉

Chicago, new york, memphis, st louis, baton rouge, atlanta, houston like people always get clipped.
In the 7th season there's hardly any people in mystic falls anymore
Like matt for example😂 how did he survive all those 8 season in mystic falls?
mystic falls only has about 6,000 people lmaoo
