hey, I have the same laptop, i wanted to install a fresh window but the hard would not show, so I went to cmd and it showed there, I might have deleted the hard drive and now it only goes to the boot menu and bios, in the bios it say no hard drive installed, and does not boot from USB , how can I get the hard drive back. thanks

Thank you! Had an 3 year old idealpad 3 that I upgraded the ram and ssd, just needed to factory reset it. Tried it on the battery and it would not work. I plugged it in to the charger and the please wait message appeared. Hope that helps!

by the way, I don't think it's the F11 key doing this. Windows has a function built in where if you interrupt the startup (spinning circle dots) about 2 or 3 times, it will automatically go into Automatic Repair which then gives you the advanced menu you are on. The startup interruption is when you powered off the computer while windows is trying to load

If you have logged in with an Account then after reset you can login that same account to get back what subscription you had before reset..
Like if you had Office 365 Lifetime then after reset you have to login in Microsoft account linked with Your MS Office..

it is not staying on the screen where it ask if i want to do cloud reinstall or local reinstall it just shows that screen and then skip right away and then it will say "there is a problem resetting your pc" no changes made

@@lous3342 so basically when you decide for reset it be it reset everything or keep some files (I reset everything) it gives you a google link that you get your laptops key number that allows you to reset it and I don’t remember what was after that

I advise everyone to not follow these steps
It's wrong
The correct way is to use the side Hole when the Laptop is off
This is the most stupid way I've ever seen
F11 actually didn't respond to your pressing
All you have done is destroy the Windows by repeating the wrong shutdown
It has led to the recovery mode
