lol Thank you. The method of bringing up cmd prompt and then going into notepad was a pretty helpful suggestion. I didn't have the key saved to my account online but I did have it saved on an external drive and was able to get to it that way. That'll learn me to update my motherboard bios without much thought.

I give up none of these worked and microsoft supports useless
You may need to do disk or partition formatting if you think you couldn't get the key.
These are only if you can access the drive that is bitlocked once you are locked out none of these will work and if you need the data it is even worse, RUclips is useless for this information see if you can get a copy of passware kit forensic and hack it instead. It makes me laugh that I didn't set up bitlocker but my disk is now locked. What is it designed to protect from? Criminals? Hackers? Governments? all these can hack bit locker easy seems to only exist to annoy customers.

Thank u so much bro. 7th one became the solution to my problem. Actually i tried to open recovery note by clicking on it but it asked me for key name, so i couldn't read that text file. It's pretty weird cuz i managed to read the text file and fix the problem the way u showed

If every other method fails or you can’t get the key. Boot from usb is the only way and totally works . I’m installing windows now and this thing was locked by a big corporation. LEGIT

@@ValiumMediaTech Nevermind. I already fixed it. Apparently the file nvpcf.sys from Nvidia causes a loop crash in Dell Laptops, so I had to download windows in a USB, turn on safe boot and then uninstall the drivers. Thank you so much for the quick reply though

It’s ridiculous, just got home and tried playing my pc, no problems the other day or anything and it’s asking me for my recovery key, no problem I guess go to my account and it says it can’t load the key ☠️ it keeps saying it on every account it’s saying “error, please come back later or go to support”

The flash drive will be formatted automatically when preparing it to be a bootable device
My drive is bit Locker encrypted and I'm stuck on the bitlocker recovery loop and don't have that "skip this drive" option. I also don't know the pin or bitlocker password. All I'm trying to do is reset the machine back to factory but I can't follow your solution because I don't have the option to click on "skip this drive", I can't even get to the boot menu. Thoughts?
If the locked drive is the system one, then you can't do a system reset, instead, you have to format the drive and then reinstall windows.
is there any way to delete that Bitlocker bluescreen? A friend of mine got himself a notebook, only after one restart there was this Screen. But he doesn't remenber his login data since he had a stroke. So no recovery key and no microsoft account. Is there a way to start the laptop again?
The only way t start the laptop again is by formatting the locked disk and then install a fresh copy of windows as instructed on the video.
Hey my problem is that I made a new Microsoft account and forgot the email and password, now when I open my PC, it won’t let me login unless I enter the bitlocker recovery code which I can’t do. And I don’t have no USB drive / CD / Files (anything at all) is there any way to restart my ENTIRE computer with bypassing the bitlocker security?
If you can remember the email that you signed in into Microsoft in your computer, then you can ask for password reset, after that, login to your account and get the key.
If that is impossible, then the only option for you is by formatting the partition and/or the disk, after that, reinstall a fresh copy of windows as instructed in the video.

hey everytime i enter my recovery key it does a lil bit of stuff but just sends me back to the recovery but Lock Screen. What is this and how do I fix it
Make sure you are entering the correct key for the correct computer and partition and that you are typing the key correctly in lower and upper Case letters.
So for the CMD if it ends up saying no key protectors found does that mean i dont have a bitlocker activated or have one in general?

You have to use the Microsoft account that was used to log-in on your computer first.
Why did you disable protectors after you unlocked it? I would think tpm would be satisfied and reboot normally.
You can keep it enabled if you want.
I have two disks on my pc and both of them are locked, so i'm stuck on the automatic reparation screen. Is there a way to turn off the bitlocker ? by putting the disks on another pc that is not stuck like mine maybe ?
Once the disk or partition get BitLocker-locked, you can't disable or bypass it unless you enter the recovery key to unlock it first. However, if the issue appear after changing Secure boot or TPM settings in BIOS, then you can revert that settings back to bypass the BitLocker Recovery without password or recovery key, after that disable the BitLocker encryption. Also if there is a recovery agent certificate installed in your computer, then you can unlock the encrypted disk easily. Watch this video for more details:

i did the command but it shows only the id, where it would say password, it says 7,11 and thats it

You have to log in into Microsoft account that you have used in your computer on the first time, after that, copy the key that is applicable to the locked partition, because you may have more than one locked partition and each partition will have a different key.
I dont have a usb drive showing. And the my drive d: has an empty recovery key file. I ran the command promp. Shows the the identifier but no pass either.. so .. whats next?
The recovery key or password will not be shown for the locked drive by just executing a command.

You can't access the download folder while the C partition is locked, but I think you can't save the BitLocker key of the C partition on the Download folder unless you saved it to another place and then copy or download it to the Download folder.
This would be great if you could actually access windows in the laptop in order to do any of these things
If the C partition get locked, that is impossible until you unlock the disk.

i was able to unlock bitlocker using command prompt, but now i just get sent on a loop which says "your device ran in to a problem and needs to restart. We'll restart for you" STOP CODE is DRIVER UNLOADED WITHOUT CANCELLING PENDING OPERATIONS. Then it restarts it again loop loop loop. any ideas?
That is because you have a corrupted driver.
You can try to disable the problematic driver until you are able to boot normally and then enable that driver and update it.

Yes. You have to ask the person who installed windows to give you the key.

Undo BIOS update will not fix your issue and is not recommended (or maybe that is impossible). Once the BitLocker Recovery triggered, no legal way to disable it other than the mentioned methods on this video.

From where did you get that file BITLOCKER RECOVERY KEY and how did you get that file?
I copied the key into that file manually from the linked Microsoft account to my computer.

You have to go to Microsoft website to get the Recovery key and then unlock your disk as instructed in the video.

everything worked for me all the way up until I had to enter the recovery password to actually unlock it bc when I opened the recovery file in notepad.. it was completely blank so I have no paw to copy and paste.. weird.. what do I do

@@ValiumMediaTech bc it gave it to me in the command prompt so I went ahead and pasted it into there so I had that at least. but there was nothing in the recovery note at all. it was labeled recovery but nothing was in it. so I'm stuck at that part when I need to put the recovery password in the command promt
@@mellag974 If you mean the "Recovery.txt" file that is found in the main directory of windows partition when booting into Recovery Environment, then you are are trying with the wrong file, bc that file is created automatically in empty state.
But i will disabled the bitlocker if the security info update is done

If you mean the typed password not shown, then try to press *Num Lock* key from keyboard to enable Number typing.

After I entered-unlock C: -rp and the key. It says the password failed to unlock volume C: please help me how to resolve this
Make sure the locked partition is the C, and the typed key is for the C partition.
Also make sue to type the key in upper and lower cases as you have seen on Microsoft website, or copy and paste it for accuracy

- Try to change the CMD bath to system32 folder inside your windows partition using this command (if the C is the windows partition):
