I have the V3 but seems the same in everything? Is there a way to set is just as constant voltage for the out?
When you set the voltage, that is constant voltage.Make sure to set the current to maximum.

Hi I have a problem with this module, for some reason any of the buttons works, just work the + to increase voltaje, and got stuck in max voltage ( 32v) and I need to decrease that voltage but the ( - ) buttons dont change nothing, the same with power button, and mode. Just work the ( + ) any idea of what should cause this problem of the buttons dont working and just working the + button?
Hi, dis connect it from power, and connect a load to the output so capacitors are drained and no power left. This might help by changing any temporary settings. This module as I explained has microController. you can't program or do anything. if you try the above and it did not fix, may be it is damaged.

The weak part is the Schottky Diode beside the XL4015. When the converter is at full current and a high conversion rate (low on time if the xl4015 and therefore high duty time of the diode) it is overloaded and fails. When it fails it destroys the XL4015 too. I replaced it to MBR2545 on one of my converters. I will try a heatsink glued to the diode on the other ones. The XL4015 has a thermal shutdown protection. The diode has not. It is conducting the inductor current while the XL4015's off time.
The MBR2545 blew up too @ 36V Input and 8.4V output and full current. As the Amps of the MBR2545 (with both Diodes in the TO220 case) are far overrated this cannot be the cause. So it's more likely the 45V where exceeded due to some strange resonance at the inductor. I will post again if the SS56 blows up. Maybe I'll find time to investigate with the oscilloscope. Maybe it makes sense to change capacitors (too).

Input voltage varies between about 18-22 for my solar panels. Output is supposed to be 14.2 for the battery. Once the battery is connected, though, the input voltage value drops to the battery's voltage. That makes no sense to me, plus that is not what happens in this video. Can anyone explain why this happens, please?
Hi, it seems your battery is drawing more current than your solar panel can supply and as a result the voltage drops. For example if a solar panel under certain light condition can supply 15V 2A and you try to get 3A, it will drop the voltage. So limit the current the minimum of 500mmA for example to the battery and then connect this device to the soler panel and try different current values like 0.6A, 0.8A and increase to see and find maximum value. rememer when we talk solar, it is valid only under that particular time of day and lighting condition.
What is the minimum current you can set ?

Can this circuit charge car batteries?
Yes it can but car battery has something like 100Ah capacity and with this module if you charge it at 5A, then 100/5=20 hours will take to charge it.
You have to know to set the charge village for the battery like 12.8V or 13.2V , check specs so you can charge it fully

this thing did not work with solar panel. tried several of these in all kind of weather, failed everytime. Always shows current 0 no matter what I do. If you want to use laptop 20V charger then this thing is awesome.

At 33:06 efficiency 99% is not correct and at 34:17 and 34:43 also not correct! Negligence...!!!
correct it should be 81.6%. But the display is showing correct value. Thanks
