The black baking tray, it's deeper for drips.

Why don't you use the backing pan underneath the chicken ?? It's a lot easier to keep it clean

You’re using the crumb tray, and you’re not supposed to get grease on the heating elements. Put the actual drip tray above the heating elements. The drip tray is the black one. Looks like a cookie sheet

I hate trussing so I use a rotisserie skewer to cage the chicken instead of trussing. I have done several 5 lb chickens with no problems and a 6 lb that barley fit to spin. If you stop the rotisserie motor and start it again with the button you can get it to spin the other direction. If you are doing a small chicken it is better to put the drip pan on top of the bottom heating coils instead of under it.

5 days to defrost a small chicken,it should only take around 24 hours, put in fridge over night and take it out a few hours before cooking.

Don’t even know why I watched this video, the camera wasn’t focused to what you were doing. So didn’t really see much!

No insult to you, but maybe I have purchased a DUD.. I like the Kalorik but 3 attempts on the rotisserie chicken will not rotate. I have a Wolfgang Puck Convection oven I have used for at least 7 years and our fav. meal is rotisserie chicken. I wanted to retire the Wolfgang Puck oven because the start button broke and I would have to plug it in or unplug to turn it off. ( POOR ME). Well Kalorick is worst than the bother to plug in or unplug something. It will not rotate.
