I have cooked a 10 lb chicken on the rotisserie in my Kaloric air fryer it turned out perfectly. Every once in awhile I added some water to the drip pan. So I was able to make gravy as well. As far as toast goes keep your toaster. Steaks, thick pork chops, fried chicken etc are awesome. Over time I have found the presets always need adjusting. So I check online for the time and temperatures and adjust to what other users have said. It is trial and error at first. But not sorry I bought my Kaloric. Easy to clean too. I just wipe out after each use. Never let the grease dry.
No way u rotisserie a 10lb chicken in there. Especially using a drip pan. My 6.2lb bird left 1/4 inch on top and bottom. And that's without a drip pan using only foil to cover the bottom and heating elements. Delicious and tender.
There's humble helpful suggesting. We're baking together here. Watching him discover. Is entertaining
@@pamelabrigham5605 u cant cook a 10lb bird in there. Especially with the drip tray.
@@JAHtony1111 prob 6.2 kilo

How sweet feeding the pets first. Love that. :D
Is nobody commenting how he eat a waffle after touching the raw chicken? He's lucky he doesn't get food poisoning.
Yeah I thought the same thing.😮
😂
Food Poisoning is way over hyped. When i went to cuba they were selling cuts of meat on the sidewalk with zero refrigeration. 90 degree weather nobody got sick

Great video I just got a new one, one week ago and I am still learning thanks for your help
YW!!!
You can buy a basket for the oven and roast your own coffee too. All you need is 425 deg.F and 15 to 20 min. depends on med or dark roast. Set the chicken to about 375 deg. for the small hens.
Great news. Good idea 👍 thnx
In the future, try temping it first before pulling it out. Just an FYI. You did a great job though and looks delicious
Your temp should be 350 or 375 for 1 hr. It still looks good.
TY. That is exactly what I wanted to know.
hey just got this air fryer the other day. So 1hour for 350 for this exact type of chicken?
I always cook at a lower temp...
Yes! I found that 400 was too high when I made mine. Skin was burning. Lowered it to 350 and just cooked it longer. It was just under 5 lbs so it dragged a little but still rotated. I don’t think I trussed it properly though.
I’m also looking at this unit. How is the heat loss from the spacing in the doors??
1.942 kg=4.28 pounds is a bit too fat and drags on the bottom pan. Though the chicken does not get stuck. All is tight as you have it with string. Next time I have to get less than a 4 pound or break the breast bone and squish it down with the string tighter. I will do an update on how it cooked soon. I've had my Kalorik from Amazon for a few months and would never live without it ever. I love it. Super easy to clean. I find it a little hard to get into the fan to clean it as all of the air fryers are. Well out of the 40 mins on air fry chicken setting it got light brown in 10 minutes. It ended up stopping and getting stuck. Too large of a bird. I put it in my electric roaster now. I see I have to do half the size or half the chicken and skewer it and cook each half separately or do only tiny birds. I don't know if one can buy a 2 lb chicken.
Thank you for this vidéo
That's blood!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Looks good brother, but you should probably wash your hands next time, don’t want you to get sick and not be able to make new videos
LoL, i had to look back at the video and see if i ate one while having chicken essence on my hands... Few...
oh! feeding your pets (cats and dogs) the organs, right on healthy for them!
Freeloaders lol, J/K, J/K... They always get a cut.
They normally get the stuff we don't like, for example what you saw or even their own chunks of chicken mixed with the kibble.
Zero negative feed back they give us lol.

I wanted to see the important part of putting the bird on the spit! He showed us pulling the giblets out & seasoning it, but not the logistics of setting it up for cooking. AUGH!
Looks very good but I would have taken an internal temp with a meat thermometer to make sure it was safe to eat :-) Your pets loved their share :-)
I'll get one and use it moving forward. I kind of enjoy living...
They’re not guts. They’re giblets. And yes, dogs love it. Also sauté chopped and add the a dressing mix for a side.
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣❣️❣️❣️❣️You make me laugh 😂 you are great! Love U❣️❣️❣️❣️
YEAH GREAT JOB. LOOKS GREAT 😀 YUMMY
Where do you get that string from ??😊
Shoprite or any food store really... It's cooking string if you ask them.
You use the giblets for awesome stuffing and gravy its the full flavor in those you just opted feeding your pets but thats okay" one of my favorites. Game hens

did you just touch raw meat and then eat a waffle without washing your hands?! nay nay! other than that I was quite entertained by your funny attempt to cook the hen. :-) I suggest lowering the tempt ALOT, try 350 or 375 for the 40 minutes instead. No red in meat when it comes to chicken. Cute pets!

Cross contamination buddy
U touch raw meat than grab the waffle 3:08 to 3:40
They lied. It cannot roast a whole 5lb or less chicken. More like a quail.
Sorry about that lol. But hey, we can get a small 4lb one and tastes really good.
Did you have grease leaking from the bottom of your oven on to your counter top?
Yes, from time to time what happens is that all the fluids evap inside the oven and they tend puddle as they escape from the small openings...
a quick paper towel with some rubbing iso and you are good to go...
hope this helps, cheers!!!
@isitanygood7574 thankyou I was in full panic mode as it was leaking at the back where the plug is on the right side so I was worried and wondered how it's all sealed and connected inside. Mind you the cable is up about 2 inches from bottem. Was gonna take it apart. Today I made pork chops though and no grease or anything.
Thanks for the reply! 😀
@@AG0024 Happy New years ADAM!!!
@isitanygood7574 you too my friend :)
It's not the rotisserie motor. it seems they all do it for some unknown reason
Congrats bro..Ruthy
Thank you Mama!!! Enjoy.
i bought one of these specifically for the rotisserie. Now if you have a very small chicken or whatever it works fine. But, and hear me clearly, unless you tie up as tight as
a drum, an average size fryer chicken barely clears the heating elements on the bottom. And there is now way, I mean no way to put that black drip baking pan underneath it. Every other feature works fine. So I'm going to buy me a device made just for rotisserie. Period. If any of you see a chicken cooking in one of these you can bet its a game hen or a very small bird. You see I need something that feeds a couple of grown men not the opposite. And the main thing is I don't want a lot fuss and truss about it. Stick in it and let is spin. Ok? OK.
I agree. It is not mainly built for the Tisserie. It does okay for a chicken snack lol. As far as Air Fryers go, this is probably the largest one out there.
If this was a motor cycle it would be a 250cc. If you compare this 250cc to a bicycle... hehe yeah that is how I see it.
I mainly purchased it for the replacement of my oven. It succeeded.
I could see myself buying something larger in the future just for what you said. Oh yeah.
I heard that. Yea I understand that Kalorik makes a vertical rotisserie. Going to have to check that out. Now one thing you can do it to cut the chicken up and put the pieces on individually, But see, I want to do the whole bird and like I said before , a good size fryer is just too tight a fit and wobbles like a weeble. I just cant have that. Thanks for your reply and Bon Appetit! in whatever you cook.
True. I rotisserie without a drip pan by covering the bottom and heating elements with foil. But u gotta truss it up like in the stores. Still eating a 6.2 pound bird we did yesterday.
@@JAHtony1111 I did a 6 pounder myself by removing the drip tray and putting tinfoil over the crumb tray. I do not worry about getting some splatter on the bottom coil as it wipes right off with a sponge. I decided I would not do past a 5 lb due to fear of wearing out the rotisserie motor.
It takes up to a 6lb bird by the manual. I've done a 6.5 no problem. Gotta trust tight. Cover bottom and elements with foil. No drip trays or there's no room to spin. Perfect everytime.
I been looking at this unit, do you have any complaints?
For daily use, IE: toasting a slice of bread or some small stuff. I say, NO! Don't do it. If you want to make lots of meal type dishes, then yes. It is much smaller than a conventional oven and thus returns in that way. Up to how much you use your toaster and oven. Deff don't buy it to buy it as it can be pricy w/o coupons or something :)
It’s not the motor. All the weight is on side.
If the cat likes it must be good
Cats eat mice and pretty much anything…gross…🤣🤣🤣
Before you ate the waffle
You men eat your dinner, eat your pork and beans
I eat more Cornish hens than any man ever seen, yeah, yeah... 😎
Cooking temp was too high. Max 400.
Don't get any ideas buddy 🤣just cook the birds
Of brand shows a loose chicken spinning then they are wrong 🤣. No matter how cook you should tie the chicken, tenderloin unless you want it to fly then by all means 😆
Your guyses? You must be from Chicago.
Nope lol, but I did meet a bunch of folks in the USAF! I take a little bit of everyone I meet for sure.
I cant find cooking string anywhere 😑
I love this issue, cause I might be able to help. So, in Target they have some. And for where my vife found some, at Michaels. It is a store that sells random things to make art and things.

Am I wrong or does the instructions say to put the drip tray below the element? Would this give more space?
The bottom and top heating element have a clearance of almost "paper".
It just wont allow anything to besides the crumb pan to be.
I really hope this helps and is what you were asking about.
I just tried mine, the drip pan goes easy below the element. I wonder if yours is different?
@@isitanygood7574 I’m not doubting you, I’m just trying to help.
@@crystalmprincess15 Okay before this seems to come off confrontational, "I'm not".
So you are saying that I can put the black drip pan beneath the bottom element?
Cause that is where I believe my confusion is coming from.
The bread crumb liner does indeed fit over the heating element if that is what you are saying.
But I just don't know really so... here is what I think you mean and you can correct me lol.
So the black drip pan is very thick and I don't have enough space to put it beneath the bottom element.
The thin crumb pan can fit over the element, but it lays on the heating elements and I'm afraid to damage them or the pan.
Let me know, and know I mean this with the utmost respect.
@@isitanygood7574 Oh I’m sorry, I didn’t see it as confrontational. I thought your review was great, I was actually trying to help but I was the one in the wrong. It seems I was using the crumb tray as a drip pan! 🥺 oh well… worked well for me! Thanks for your review, it was super helpful.

How long did you end up cooking it and how much did the little chick weigh?
i have experimented with the chicken preset for 425deg and 40 mins. It comes out Perfectly as is. The Cornish Hen was like 3-4lbs. She small, got her in a double buy in shop rite. I bought a temp gauge also and it cooks very well.
