    I have cooked a 10 lb chicken on the rotisserie in my Kaloric air fryer it turned out perfectly. Every once in awhile I added some water to the drip pan. So I was able to make gravy as well. As far as toast goes keep your toaster. Steaks, thick pork chops, fried chicken etc are awesome. Over time I have found the presets always need adjusting. So I check online for the time and temperatures and adjust to what other users have said. It is trial and error at first. But not sorry I bought my Kaloric. Easy to clean too. I just wipe out after each use. Never let the grease dry.

      No way u rotisserie a 10lb chicken in there. Especially using a drip pan. My 6.2lb bird left 1/4 inch on top and bottom. And that's without a drip pan using only foil to cover the bottom and heating elements. Delicious and tender.

    You can buy a basket for the oven and roast your own coffee too. All you need is 425 deg.F and 15 to 20 min. depends on med or dark roast. Set the chicken to about 375 deg. for the small hens.

      Yes! I found that 400 was too high when I made mine. Skin was burning. Lowered it to 350 and just cooked it longer. It was just under 5 lbs so it dragged a little but still rotated. I don’t think I trussed it properly though.

    1.942 kg=4.28 pounds is a bit too fat and drags on the bottom pan. Though the chicken does not get stuck. All is tight as you have it with string. Next time I have to get less than a 4 pound or break the breast bone and squish it down with the string tighter. I will do an update on how it cooked soon. I've had my Kalorik from Amazon for a few months and would never live without it ever. I love it. Super easy to clean. I find it a little hard to get into the fan to clean it as all of the air fryers are. Well out of the 40 mins on air fry chicken setting it got light brown in 10 minutes. It ended up stopping and getting stuck. Too large of a bird. I put it in my electric roaster now. I see I have to do half the size or half the chicken and skewer it and cook each half separately or do only tiny birds. I don't know if one can buy a 2 lb chicken.

  • @chrisc.6296

    i bought one of these specifically for the rotisserie. Now if you have a very small chicken or whatever it works fine. But, and hear me clearly, unless you tie up as tight as
    a drum, an average size fryer chicken barely clears the heating elements on the bottom. And there is now way, I mean no way to put that black drip baking pan underneath it. Every other feature works fine. So I'm going to buy me a device made just for rotisserie. Period. If any of you see a chicken cooking in one of these you can bet its a game hen or a very small bird. You see I need something that feeds a couple of grown men not the opposite. And the main thing is I don't want a lot fuss and truss about it. Stick in it and let is spin. Ok? OK.

    • @isitanygood7574
      @isitanygood7574  3 года назад +1

      I agree. It is not mainly built for the Tisserie. It does okay for a chicken snack lol. As far as Air Fryers go, this is probably the largest one out there.
      If this was a motor cycle it would be a 250cc. If you compare this 250cc to a bicycle... hehe yeah that is how I see it.
      I mainly purchased it for the replacement of my oven. It succeeded.
      I could see myself buying something larger in the future just for what you said. Oh yeah.

    • @chrisc.6296
      @chrisc.6296 3 года назад +1

      I heard that. Yea I understand that Kalorik makes a vertical rotisserie. Going to have to check that out. Now one thing you can do it to cut the chicken up and put the pieces on individually, But see, I want to do the whole bird and like I said before , a good size fryer is just too tight a fit and wobbles like a weeble. I just cant have that. Thanks for your reply and Bon Appetit! in whatever you cook.

      @jamesmiller3098 2 года назад +1

      @@JAHtony1111 I did a 6 pounder myself by removing the drip tray and putting tinfoil over the crumb tray. I do not worry about getting some splatter on the bottom coil as it wipes right off with a sponge. I decided I would not do past a 5 lb due to fear of wearing out the rotisserie motor.

    • @JAHtony1111
      @JAHtony1111 2 года назад +1

      For daily use, IE: toasting a slice of bread or some small stuff. I say, NO! Don't do it. If you want to make lots of meal type dishes, then yes. It is much smaller than a conventional oven and thus returns in that way. Up to how much you use your toaster and oven. Deff don't buy it to buy it as it can be pricy w/o coupons or something :)

      The bread crumb liner does indeed fit over the heating element if that is what you are saying.
