My favorite smart cooker is the Ninja Foodi Smart XL grill. No camera. You just have to tell it what you put in and the doneness you prefer. A meat probe tells the grill the proper time to shut off. It can also be used to cook stews or even airfry. by removing the grill
It’s probably better to just to buy a wireless thermometer like a Thermopen or Meater, which can be used with other things like BBQ or grilled food if need be
@@PotatoPirate123 Yes, I agree, but the point was a smart cooker which is preprogrammed for the various foods. With the Foodi, you don't need to know what temperature. You just tell it you want your steak medium rare or however you want it cooked and it takes care of it.

Almost two years ago, I bought an air fryer oven on a whim (I'd never heard of them before). When it arrived, I tried it out and switched my main cooker off at the fuse box and have never used it since. Being an oven type air fryer, it came with slotted two trays and a base tray, a rotisserie with prongs, a rotating basket (for chips and things) and a few other accessories - all for under £100! I then bought a worktop twin plate induction hob and between the air fryer oven and new hob plus my fancy microwave, I manage completely without a cooker at a lot less cost than conventional cooking. Being a single guy who loves cooking and gadgets, it couldn't be better - and is a far more versatile arrangement than I had previously. Three tier steamer for veg on induction - perfect! Medium/large potato cut into 8/12 wedges (skin on), done in the air fryer in 15 minutes - great!
We are a retired couple and have moved to the coast. We do not need a full kitchen any more.We use a air fryer/twin induction hob/microwave/steamer.This combination works well for us and saves us money on fuel.We also use a vacuum pack machine and have a freezer for pre made meals.
@@JMB244 I don't have a vacuum packer because until now I have never heard of them - but I will now look for one. I also batch cook every week to store in the freezer in cartons.
The Dreo Chefmaker is the way to go for air-frying meat. It's also "AI" in that you put a temperature probe into your meat of choice, tell the air fryer what it is, and how you want it cooked, and it goes to town using multiple cook stages and temperature curves. It also has a water atomizer the inner/outer temperature. I've had one for awhile, and it does a pretty good job. Not "restaurant" quality, but definitely pretty good for home-cooked in an oven.
Wow! Daewoo! I had a home stereo system by them back in the 90s!! But I love my Ninja SP101 8 in 1 air fryer! It's great to just leave on the counter because it flips up and takes less counter space when not in use. I highly recommend!
I've also seen a lot of air fryer specific stuff lately! I got some Air Fryer oil because it legit has a very high smoke point so cooking at 200C is good, but then when I read it properly it's just avocado oil which I could have got for cheaper 🙃 Seems like we're gonna get a lot of "AI" things from this point...Looking forward to seeing your AI Toaster review soon 😜
Having a whole chicken on your package and then not having a setting or even recognising a whole chicken is the definition of false advertising. That has nothing to do with if the overall product is solid but you said yourself, that is part of why you bought it.
Hardly lol. It fits in the unit and you can cook it in the unit using manual settings. You're assuming the AI will do more than product packaging /manual states. That being said, including a picture of the entire bird and not something that's actually on the preset is wildly irresponsible.

Hi Barry i brought my first air fryer when i was 25 and I'm now 61 and i got it from qvc and imported with a uk plug ive also been a butcher now for 32 years and still plodding along all though getting slower 😊, daewoo do some very good products and a von chef also do some good products, over the years I've had so many different air fryers over the years and so many different ninjas but I'm not a fan of them my two in my kitchen now is the 12lt cosori which what ever you put in comes out perfectly especially because it has heating elements at the bottom as well as the top and my second is the instant pot verso and a brilliant air fryer and a real workhorse and on special offer it's just brilliant, but i truly can't say enough about the cosori, cheers mate 🍻
never even bought an oven in my lifetime, and you're out here bragging about buying "so many different air fryers over the years". what is it so difficult for you olds think about what you are trying to say before typing and sending messages?
As mentioned before, the Instant Vortex Duel Plus is excellent! x2 draws (with windows) 7.6L. It has 8-in-1 present settings and 6 ways to cook, air fry, roast, grill, bake, rehydrate & reheat. Sync start & sync finish, easy to clean been a fantastic purchase for me!
This is the best airfryer if you have a family to cook for. Ninja Foodi FlexDrawer Air Fryer, Dual Zone with Removable Divider, Large 10.4L Drawer, 7-in-1, Air-Fryer Uses No Oil, Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Max Crisp, Non-Stick Dishwasher Safe Parts, Black AF500UK But its also good if you are a person on your own. I have had many different airfryers over the past 16 + years. They have all been about the same size though, and around the £60 to £80 price point. They gave all heen fine and have done the job they were designed to do, and i loved all of them . They have saved me time and money and i wouldn't be without one now. The Ninja is definitely a considered purchase, as its a higher price point, but it is well worth the money. I got mine on a daily deal price and it was very reduced, cost wise. I've had it since February this year, and have cooked much more in it than i ever did in any of my previous models. I used to use my airfryer about 3 to 4 times a week, this one i use 5 to 6 times a week. Its a fantastic machine. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Last year I got the Dreo chefmaker. It has a chef mode for meats and veggies where you select what you are cooking and how done you want it. It also has a temp probe that connects to it to track that. I'll keep it over the ai, but this one does have a nicer window.
4:41 shame the camera didn't put the video feed on the display, if only there was a way to peer into the air fryer like a window of sorts that allows you to see the food as it cooks, but that's probably just science fiction
If i do a large joint or whole chicken i take the crisper tray out to drop it down a bit from the element to stop it charring as much, seems to be not a bad product,I have an Instant Vortex and it has a clear view windiw as well which as you say is really handy, very enjoyable video Barry
@@toyotaprius79 Eh not really. AI is pretty much revolutionary and in it's adolescent, I remember when it was in it's infantcy and I can tell you from experience that what we have now is exponentially more advanced than what we had 10-15 years ago. It's going to get better. The bubble you're thinking of is stuff like this where they try to market basic algorithms and if else statements as AI, or more recently AI devices that will basically be replaced by Android and iOS
I honestly wouldn't let AI take over MY life or my world. I mean that i decided to not use AI. Why? Because i just don't need it. I don't want to fall in the illusion that i need it. Because i prefer to express my own intellectuality and creativity, or anything i'm able to do by myself. I see that many people delegates too much things to AI, including teenagers to make their homework....So what would happen, if people use AI to replace their own aptitudes. Creativity is already taken over by AI, and many real artists struggles because of that. What will happen if someone would wrote a book with AI and would become rich and famous? AI is the danger of illusion, that it could create so many things, that it would slowly replace humans abilities. We already make this mistake by using connected objects to turn off the light AT OUR PLACE....So do you imagine the catastrophy of AI taking over our intellectuality, and creativity? Would humans still able to make things by themselves? I don't find AI revolutionnary, but dangerous for Humanity. It's not because it's high technology that it's great. It's just bring this illusion. I don't see that as an experience...By cons, when i write a book by myself, when i draw by myself, when i think by myself, or many others things i'm able to do...I make my own experience. The problem with AI and many products connected is the promise of experiences....Making us believe that we couldn't do experiences by ourself, with our own faculties. The experience of AI stay a faked and superficial way to have some sensations or excitement in our lives...But it litterally corrupt the link with ourself. So it's seen as revolutionnary, and it's exactly the problem. Many people falls in the trap of illusions. Instead to be encouraged to use our own faculties, we are encouraged to replace this faculties by AI faculties. It's exactly like that that big compagny trap us in many way and make us buy stuffs we don't need. Because they put the idea of happiness, experiences, faculties on superficial things. While i learned that we already have a lot of treasures in ourself. It' s so fullfilling, when you make something with YOUR aptitudes./ Don't delegates or replace your ability to think and to BE by something artificial. Stays humans and simple, guys. We don't need AI or connected objects...We need the best connection ever, the connection with nature and with our souls... But many people have forget that. When i'm outside, and that i'm the only one still listening the song of the birds, and keeping my smartphone in my bag, while all others people have their nose in their phone, and don't even hear the birds anymore.....I see that we have already lost our part of humanity.I don't think we should live through a program. We are humans. We have a brain, that we don't use at his highest value, and you want AI to take over the world? So no, i don't see where it's revolutionnary to transform us into robots. Mostly for our teenagers, that would slowly think that machine are here to do everything at our place. They already live too much by their phones and social network...So with AI...i guess they wouldn't be able to do anything by themselves. But humans are so corrupted by big company that they let big company says what they need to be or to have in order to be happy. Live by your own parameters, guys, not the parameters of someone else, mostly if it come from a big company that make all for money.
I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these. Try cooking your steaks completely frozen. Saw a video and my 1 1/4" ribeye comes out medium rare (7-8 minutes each side). Just found your channel today, subscribed and shared it with family and friends. Keep them coming.
I just cook my food in an air fryer and write down on a paper how long I think is perfect and I usually do 180c for everything to not make it too complicated. You can cook something till you are satisfied and then just add or attract a minute or two if you want different results and you need to check on your food the first times to understand what the result might be like. I have a smart feature on my airfryer but it is just easier to have times written down instead of playing around with menus or waiting for the air fryer to do something on its own, you pop whatever you want to eat in to the air fryer, set it to 180c or something for however long it will need and there are no more worries. I have noticed that 200c is very harsh on the top of the food so that is why I go for 180 instead, still super hot but it is way better, even though you might need to wait a little longer. I used to do my frozen fries for 12 minutes in 180c but 8-9 minutes makes perfection depending on what you are trying to achieve, anything above 9 minutes kind of makes the crust too hard.
Even using an AF, you should always use an instant read thermometer to check the internal temperature. The times used by this AF is rather longer than I would use but then again it might not be as powerful as mine so it might cook slower than normal machines.
In 2021 I moved from Cambridgeshire to Southern Japan with my wife & 2 children, although I was expecting this it was still a shock to find that the majority of Japanese homes do not have a traditional oven like we do in Europe, they cook everything on the hob, in a toaster or microwave or kettle or BBQ, ok I’ve gotten used to it, but two of our major purchases since arriving was an enormous microwave/convection oven combination & an air fryer & like you I deliberately chose a model with the viewing window to see the food cooking, my real culture shock was not being able to buy a whole chicken, or a pork beef or lamb joint, if you can find them these will only be available the end of December, food is very seasonal here no leeks in summer, no strawberries or kiwi in winter, when cooking a chicken in the air fryer whole turn it upside/breast down, or spatchcock the bird & cook breast down, or dissect it!.
This feels like a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. It takes longer to automatically recognize and set the time as it would be to do it manually.
Another great vid. I sort of use my airfryer with meat like I do a BBQ. Strange but fun, lol. You can do low and slow and probe the meat as you go. Or hot and fast. I Like the AI but nothing beats a good probe for temps. Would love to see you get hold of the Ninja woodfire for a play.
Sweetie, I bought air fryer fries, one time by accident, and did make them in the oven!! They were good, it worked like a charm so, what they put on the package is false!! It is possible to make them in the oven!! I can not use a air fryer because it seems I'm allergic to 'teflon' and that is also the reason why I use GREENPAN-pans instead of Tefal-pans!!! Love from an old rebel-Pinkie
40 mins for chicken thighs seams like a very long cooking time. I cooked chicken portion from frozen in just 15 to 20 mins, I used a food probe and it was fully cooked through at above the actual cooked safe temperature and tasted fine
I cook a full roast chicken just salted and peppered in my normal air fryer. I find it the best way to cook a chicken, super crispy and juicy. Edit: I just do it 180c upside down for 30 mins, flip it for another 30mins sometimes 40 mins for extra crispy skin.
I liked the video. Thank you for all of them. I use Dreo Chiefmaker. It can air fry and do other things. It has a prob that helps cook foods to the right temperature. Add the best chicken breast and salmon out of it
I have a 12 lte in ten AIRFRYER oven I love it my only complaint is likely the same as others cleaning it. I have cooked both roast and rotisserie chicken in it with the greatest of ease it to has a viewing panel and internal lamp.
The two big things that sorta put me off are 1. I don't like things with camera when i have no control over the camera 2. Where is everything that camera sees being stored? And what do they do with it? I love the clear glass to see through to what you are cooking! That's great! I just do not like a lot of it haha
I bought air fryer fries (chips) once because I was curious. But for those the cooking time was shorter than I usually would do fries and the fries turned out the best air fryer fries I had to this day. But I am not going to pay almost 3x as much when I can get perfectly fine fries much cheaper.
Roasted chickpeas on a salads great! Fish sauce with mayo ketchup trenches dressing Heinz 57 sauce a dash of Worcestershire mix together and use for fish sticks or any fish. You can use miracle whip instead of mayo.
Have you ever looked at the dreo chefmaker it uses a temperature probe especially for joints or spatchcocked chicken. It also has recipes added on their app it's honestly made the best pork crackling I've ever achieved it's not just an air fryer it has other settings. Honestly I think it's amazing and possibly more like what you expected from this
Hi Barry I love my air fryer the best one I have found is the Breville Haylo you can take the middle out and make it twice the size cooking space it also has buckets and shelves and storage for all the shelves etc so it’s really worth checking out I started off with a cheap small air fryer I have now got rid of my oven and only use my air fryer now
Try the KESSER XXL Airfryer 9 in 1. I think you’d love it. It has a rotary function which is absolutely amazing for fries, but even better: You can make a full rotisserie chicken in it, as well as as some meat skewers. It’s amazing and I love this airfryer so much!
I'd bet it was designed in the US and they just changed "fries" to "chips" in the interface for British English. Which means only thin cut fries would be detected as "chips," and the "chips" you bought were considered "wedges" (which is what we'd probably call that cut of chips in the states).
As a Brit, even i'd say the chips Barry got were on the line to becoming wedges. They were proper thick cut chips and with the skin on as well, i'm not really surprised the "AI" thought they were wedges.
Suggestion if you want to see if it adjusts according to how 'done' the food looks. I would try adding raw chips to have it detect the chips preset. Then, at the first shake, put a different batch back in. Ie chips that have had 12 mins in your other airfryer. Then you can see if the a.i. part can adjust it to match. I think trying it on basic chips would be fairer to the machine than the whole chicken on presets. Its hopeful seeing that it auto adjusted the times though. That roast beef looked absolutely banging, btw.
They call everything "AI" these days... Ability to apply preset cooking mode depending on camera recognition does not AI make. By that logic, the autofocus on the camera is AI, because it adjusts the focus depending on the data it receives from the camera.
haha yes, I was thinking is this not just a pre-set. I mean I guess detecting the food is pretty cool in some ways, but other than that pretty standard.
The £10 a tube of toothpaste I saw for sale in the supermarket the other day didn't say 'AI' - it said '3D'. (!?) I suspect AI toothpaste is only a year or two away - and at £12 a tube.
Ever since I got a Ninja Foodi AirFryer with two baskets so I can cook two different things at their own settings (and match the cooking times so it’s done at the same time), I couldn’t go back to a single basket machine. That said, the window is a pretty nice addition and I wouldn’t mind having that.
@mrbarrylewis you need to try out a Dreo Air Fryer which uses a temperature probe and atomisation to cook your food and steaks are unreal in this thing! Smart Screen, WiFi Connected and designed alongside Michelin Star Chefs! Please please please try it
barry please keep it for for yourself & this channel, i like that you get these more expansive/tech cooking machines. it also doesn’t make sense giving it away, u can cook way more food now in it and make even more interesting videos . i guess its too late because you promised to give it away.
You should try the Dreo air-fryer which does air-fry but actually is a whole lot more. It has a compartment you fill with water which mists the food to keep it moist and it as a probe which monitors the foods temperature. It connects to an app on your phone too, has a viewing window and keeps a track on the display and your phone as to what temperature it is at and how long is left. There are different cooking choices like sous-vide and classic and probe. It looks fab if a bit expensive so I don't have one but seems like something you could try out for us Barry?!lol
Barry: explaining what the AI feature does whilst the muffin man plays in the background Me: thinking it was a hint that cooking muffins will be tested in the air fryer 😆
Get Dreo, you insert a probe which you insert into the fattest piece of meat so it can check internal temperature. It also has a window with light function and also a ton of presets. You can select for instance what kind of steak you want (medium rare or whatever). It has a little water tank on the top so you can cook your meat to perfection from the inside and then roast it from the outside. Oh and you can control it from phone and it will send you a message 5 minutes before it's done.

I'm old enough to remember when Daewoo made cars, 'That'll be a Daewoo'. I expect we'll see a proper A.I Air Fryer soon enough, one that will require a internet connection, and will text you with sad face emoji's when you use you actual Oven to cook etc, but for the price this seems like a decent product, with the addition of the window, you could just set it, and check every so often and just press the cancel button if you think it's done. I had did a quick google search and Air Fryers have come a long way, Daewoo alone have ones with a rotisserie function, with dual chambers, even a microwave oven Air fryer, which could be great for those with limited space.
Hey Barry, the joint of beef you chose is something called thick flank. This is a low and slow joint or it will be tough. 🫡 Great job though with the road test - stick with a Ninja, love my 9 in one 😎👍🏼
Noticed it was Daewoo. I bought a Daewoo 15" TV from Montgomery Ward in 1998 and it is still my guest room TV. Works great. For that reason alone I would not hesitate to purchase a Daewoo product in the future.
All Air fryers are built the same. Heat created by coil and blown by a fan. They could have better heating elements, bladeless fans, and a rotating base plate for even cooking
Maybe buy a Meat thermometer... that Chicken was probably cooked... I do a large chicken in 45 minutes in my Ninja! As for the steak I cooked two sirloins in my Tefal airfryer today...I preheat as it has a griddle insert but 4 minutes each side is normally medium rare 👍 Keep the airfryer stuff coming as it was a cracking video Bx
I want to see you try and do the "is it cake" trend, but test how closesly your cake resembles burgers, steak, chips etc by putting them in this aifryer and seeing if it detects them correctly 😂
Thank you for this video. Alton Brown totally blew off testing air fryers. His audience pleaded he review it and he wouldn't even read the instructions. He simply beat the machine up while standing in his $5000 kitchen bad mouthing the device completely. The video was a 30 minute waste of time.
I'm not gonna lie, that beef is a great job. Super charred on the outside while nicely cooked on the inside? Very hard to do normally without some fancy smoker or something.
It's pretty decent TBH, the glass panel is actually great, the "AI" was good but it could be better and props to the manufacturer for not making it has to be connected to the internet 😂😂 Decent air fryer 👍
I'd take a plus version of that with option for a temp probe (for cooking medium steaks and such) and some sort of easy way to save custom recipes (sadly at this age that'll probably be phone app..) Otherwise, gimmicky as the AI image recognition is, it seems to work fairly well for common ingredients.
Seeing the brand, all I can think of is Mr. HubNut's Matiz, and his t-shirt slogan of "That'll be the Daewoo"... :P (Not an advert for his merch, but definitely his channel!!)
I feel like it'd be nice if it was a bit more customizable. Like, for example, if you could get it to record new recipes. Shove in something new, push a button somewhere to tell it that it's a new dish, the give manual instructions and afterwards have it save how its supposed to look like when done, so that next time you put in that dish, it'll recognize it automatically and load up your instructions.
my fryer does wedges in 16 - 18 mins from frozen depending thickness, if that says 27 or more you may aswell bang em in oven i suspect it has photo recognition in a tiny computer inside, try putting a mug in or a knife and fork
This wasn't sponsored as I said, but I think manual mode it was a pretty solid machine indeed!

We did the same & no longer use the conventional cooker. Rotisserie chicken is the best.
Should have said vacuum sealer
Could someone please tell me where this was purchased
I had a Deawoo Ciello car lol
I've also seen a lot of air fryer specific stuff lately! I got some Air Fryer oil because it legit has a very high smoke point so cooking at 200C is good, but then when I read it properly it's just avocado oil which I could have got for cheaper 🙃 Seems like we're gonna get a lot of "AI" things from this point...Looking forward to seeing your AI Toaster review soon 😜
Talkie Toaster, howdy doodly doo would you like some toast?
Classic Red Dwarf
I recommend a digital thermometer just to make sure it’s cooked
I'd be more impressed if it had an integrated meat thermometer
@@earthstar2493 The Drea Chefmaker does.
Having a whole chicken on your package and then not having a setting or even recognising a whole chicken is the definition of false advertising. That has nothing to do with if the overall product is solid but you said yourself, that is part of why you bought it.
I bet they backed out of an "AI" setting for chicken because they were worried about it being undercooked and making someone sick.
I was screaming that at the screen. Hope the Brit sees this 😊
Hardly lol. It fits in the unit and you can cook it in the unit using manual settings. You're assuming the AI will do more than product packaging
/manual states. That being said, including a picture of the entire bird and not something that's actually on the preset is wildly irresponsible.
@@Mibs53 The packaging advertises one touch cooking and AI recognitionwhile showing an entire bird that *can not be done with or be recognised by the listed features!*
@@mavadelo okay geez you don't have to yell. But its still an air fryer, and it still fits the chicken, and it still can cook the chicken. That's true separate of the listed features.
I often roast chickpeas in the air fryer. It's important to dry the chickpeas well before putting them in the air fryer (unless you want soggy beans).
This is the best airfryer if you have a family to cook for.
Ninja Foodi FlexDrawer Air Fryer, Dual Zone with Removable Divider, Large 10.4L Drawer, 7-in-1, Air-Fryer Uses No Oil, Air Fry, Roast, Bake, Max Crisp, Non-Stick Dishwasher Safe Parts, Black AF500UK
But its also good if you are a person on your own.
I'll keep it over the ai, but this one does have a nicer window.
mine is a pressure cooker too, ninja. whole chicken pressure cook 15 minutes then air fry for 20. fabulous
Yes I have the ninja foodi max which you can pressure cook the chicken first then air fry. It’s so moist and tender.
Great review & thanks for sharing with us Barry 😊👍
4:41 shame the camera didn't put the video feed on the display, if only there was a way to peer into the air fryer like a window of sorts that allows you to see the food as it cooks, but that's probably just science fiction
It has a window and an internal light.
@@AntonGully that's the joke silly goose
Although, a fancy Wi-Fi app to view the thermal camera would be neat.
sometimes it wiorries me that barry is raising children.
If i do a large joint or whole chicken i take the crisper tray out to drop it down a bit from the element to stop it charring as much, seems to be not a bad product,I have an Instant Vortex and it has a clear view windiw as well which as you say is really handy, very enjoyable video Barry
Going straight from your cookie video to this one! 2 things I love, air frying and cookies! Amazing!
Love it nice one thanks
AI is taking over the world! They've now come for Barry.
AI is ultimately a distraction from the dead end of innovation from overly valued tech companies have to offer. Fyi
Bubble gotta burst eventually
I already have 2 Air Fryers which I use daily. but I might buy one of these ones because of the clear front to see the cooking progression.
You should try the air fryers that have a rotisserie inside for the chicken! Absolutely delicious! Can do Kebabs and everything in those!
Cant beat a food thermometer for perfectly air fried food. I like my steak medium-rare whereas my hubby likes well done. The thermometer never lies 😊
The two big things that sorta put me off are
1. I don't like things with camera when i have no control over the camera
2. Where is everything that camera sees being stored? And what do they do with it?
I love the clear glass to see through to what you are cooking! That's great! I just do not like a lot of it haha
As far as I can tell it has no internet connectivity, therefore the pictures aren't going to be stored anywhere.
Thanks for the vid barry had a craving to watch 20 ads in 10 min.
I bought air fryer fries (chips) once because I was curious. But for those the cooking time was shorter than I usually would do fries and the fries turned out the best air fryer fries I had to this day. But I am not going to pay almost 3x as much when I can get perfectly fine fries much cheaper.
I was way too excited about the Doctor Who reference haha What a great video!
Honestly I think it's amazing and possibly more like what you expected from this
Amazing video as always! This has been yout favorite Air fryer so far Barry?
Hi Barry I love my air fryer the best one I have found is the Breville Haylo you can take the middle out and make it twice the size cooking space it also has buckets and shelves and storage for all the shelves etc so it’s really worth checking out I started off with a cheap small air fryer I have now got rid of my oven and only use my air fryer now
Daewoo- last time I heard of Daewoo it was a car 😂😂
Try the KESSER XXL Airfryer 9 in 1. I think you’d love it. It has a rotary function which is absolutely amazing for fries, but even better: You can make a full rotisserie chicken in it, as well as as some meat skewers. It’s amazing and I love this airfryer so much!
Oh also it has a huge window to see the food, just like this one
I'd bet it was designed in the US and they just changed "fries" to "chips" in the interface for British English. Which means only thin cut fries would be detected as "chips," and the "chips" you bought were considered "wedges" (which is what we'd probably call that cut of chips in the states).
As a Brit, even i'd say the chips Barry got were on the line to becoming wedges. They were proper thick cut chips and with the skin on as well, i'm not really surprised the "AI" thought they were wedges.
Daewoo is a Korean brand
Yes, that is AI
Both is indeed AI
Its technically AI.
Just curious, do you find the double baskets too small for a family? I just have two air fryers, lol probably a little excessive though!
Love our air fryer, we cook mostly frozen foods but reheating left overes is fantastic. No AI you learn how to use it effectively?
@mrbarrylewis you need to try out a Dreo Air Fryer which uses a temperature probe and atomisation to cook your food and steaks are unreal in this thing! Smart Screen, WiFi Connected and designed alongside Michelin Star Chefs! Please please please try it
I hope you're already preparing your million sub video :) nice work chap !
Oh dear, here’s another piece of equipment I’m going to likely want to buy!
AI aside, a good solid air fryer
I have a ninja foodi and i love it. I understand that it is more expensive than a regular air fryer but it does so much more.
I'm looking to get one of those I think

Phillips has airfryers with temprature sensors you put in the meat so it knows the core temprature and stops when it reaches set temprature.
barry please keep it for for yourself & this channel, i like that you get these more expansive/tech cooking machines. it also doesn’t make sense giving it away, u can cook way more food now in it and make even more interesting videos . i guess its too late because you promised to give it away.
I've seen people use the ninja woodfire grill, but I would love to see you. Yes, you play with the ninja woodfire grill.
It looks a LOT like my Cosori 8L non-AI air fryer. Whole chicken does really well in it.
The best thing to have together with an airfryer is instant food thermometer. It actually eliminates all questions about whether meat is ready or not!
There is already a massive clear window to see the food as its cooking but this dude also wants a screen to see the food 😂😂
Barry: explaining what the AI feature does whilst the muffin man plays in the background
Me: thinking it was a hint that cooking muffins will be tested in the air fryer 😆
Slowly becoming an airfryer review channel, can't wait for you to try one with a rotisserie in it 👍Brill
Glad to see you got a bigger one. I think it did a good job but I'd also get one without the AI, partly to reduce the cost.
Yeah without the 'camera' part lol it's a good machine I reckon, 8L is good for the chicken!
Soux vide and sear is my go-to for steak.
If you want a good airfryer I suggest the Tefal 9 in 1. It does steaks, pizzas and even has a rotisserie function. It's replaced my main oven
Id love that air fryer. Great gadget. Never knew AI was in air fryers
Great video. Subscribed. The technology will improve, and you comments and suggestions will be taken on board by the manufacturers.
Thanks for making me hungry... again. Hahaha, great video Barry
Its so advanced it can only identify 12 preset items from its camera, doesnt adapt while cooking, and probably lied about its inbuilt scale.
The chips look more like wedges but still delicious! 😋😋😋😋
Try an airfreight that also bakes . They have the rotisserie as well as oven racks and glass window so you can see food cook and a light if needed
Hi Barry been following you for years love what you do, I have recently been diagnosed with.celiac disease wondering if you have any plans for gluten free recipes 👍
I have buy one 1 month ago and i'm happy with it. It cook well and fast. Mine don't have AI, but i prefer to not have AI, because i don't want to virtualize everything.
Open the cooker door Hal...
I am sorry I can't do that Barry...
Great job though with the road test - stick with a Ninja, love my 9 in one 😎👍🏼
Noticed it was Daewoo. I bought a Daewoo 15" TV from Montgomery Ward in 1998 and it is still my guest room TV. Works great. For that reason alone I would not hesitate to purchase a Daewoo product in the future.
All Air fryers are built the same. Heat created by coil and blown by a fan. They could have better heating elements, bladeless fans, and a rotating base plate for even cooking
if you can, you should try the dreo chefmaker. its an amazing machine
I think this potential. This is a pioneer.

Always liked Bobby Lee!!!!!💖💖🎈🎈
Very interesting video, nice one mate.
cheers
I'm not gonna lie, that beef is a great job. Super charred on the outside while nicely cooked on the inside? Very hard to do normally without some fancy smoker or something.
Today I learned Daewoo still exists.
It's pretty decent TBH, the glass panel is actually great, the "AI" was good but it could be better and props to the manufacturer for not making it has to be connected to the internet 😂😂 Decent air fryer 👍
8L is adequate for a large families needs .. 2 x8 L seperate compartments even better. Cos Chips / Meat combo is needed
Great video Barry! Shame there wasnt much AI in this device haha
I wish you'd temp checked the chicken after 40 mins. I reckon that chicken would've been close at 200c cooking temp
take 1 hour from frozen in my airfryer i no i should not cooke form frozen
I'd take a plus version of that with option for a temp probe (for cooking medium steaks and such) and some sort of easy way to save custom recipes (sadly at this age that'll probably be phone app..) Otherwise, gimmicky as the AI image recognition is, it seems to work fairly well for common ingredients.
Seeing the brand, all I can think of is Mr. HubNut's Matiz, and his t-shirt slogan of "That'll be the Daewoo"... :P
(Not an advert for his merch, but definitely his channel!!)
I feel like it'd be nice if it was a bit more customizable. Like, for example, if you could get it to record new recipes.
Shove in something new, push a button somewhere to tell it that it's a new dish, the give manual instructions and afterwards have it save how its supposed to look like when done, so that next time you put in that dish, it'll recognize it automatically and load up your instructions.
my fryer does wedges in 16 - 18 mins from frozen depending thickness, if that says 27 or more you may aswell bang em in oven
i suspect it has photo recognition in a tiny computer inside, try putting a mug in or a knife and fork
If it was truly was AI, that chicken would have come out with 7 deformed appendages and a human head
