- Modern Warfare II is finally here and one of the most common video requests I've been getting is a "Best Settings" video so today I go through all of my settings and share what I feel is important to change to have your game looking and playing as good as possible! I've been playing around with some of the settings and only deviated slightly from what your recommendations are. 8 sensitivity is insane IMO but that might change the more familiar I get with this game. Cod WWII I had the sensitivities cranked up and would slaughter the living hell out of everyone but I got dizzy trying that on here. Thanks for the video.

I hope new players will either be told about you Ace and this video or find it while searching for help with settings. I can’t imagine being a new cod player and trying to navigate all these on my own…..come to think of it after playing for about ten years myself I can’t imagine trying to navigate these settings on my own 😂😂. This is a good jump off point, some settings are beneficial others are kind of superficial
But I like the amount of detail there is to make your own experience

The helmet camera for spectate is awesome. Yeah… I can’t exactly see what my friend see’s but it just looks so intense when there’s a good gun fight in the helmet cam.

These are literally the best settings on youtube. Well done sir!
One thing that ace did forget to mention is that u can set the ads sensitivity for each individual zoom for examples 2x zoom or lower aka red dot sights and iron sights I like to keep my ads at 0.70 but for anything above 2x zoom scopes etc I keep it at 1.00 because that’s what I’m used to in mw2019 and that’s what works best for me just keep that in mind

.70??? You're only putting yourself at a disadvantage because you can't follow a fast moving target... try 1.20

I also appreciate that a video on footsteps which is the biggest troll in all of gaming is going to get you a lot of views. I can't tell you how against you making a video on how to make footsteps work the best I am. What steps are 30% of the reason why people camp their ass off and ruin these games

Something small I noticed myself in the audio settings there’s a mono sound option that’s on in your video which makes directional footsteps worse and it has a sub setting you have to change again to improve it

I think the description in mono is completely off. Like it states that having it on SPLITS the audio, but having it off doesn't. But, if you turn it on it does the complete opposite of what it says. I noticed this very very early on when I first played and was super tripping as to how I can't hear exactly where people are but they can hear me in their end. But yeah definitely leave that off.

The weapon fov option affects the size of your gun while ads. Being closer or further from the sights while ads

Linear response curve is great for those that have an Xbox Elite Controller as you can adjust the controllers response curve without fighting CODs response curve
explain why? I never tried switching it to linear but I have heard this before

0.3 dead zone is nuts, I always felt like a maniac with my 0.6

I wish they divided the swap shoulder button from the sprint button in the 3rd person mode. That would make the 3rd person mode even better tbh
It’s a problem when you go from 3rd person to first person ads. 3rd person to 3rd person ads is fine. I agree though I would prefer a different button option
keeping in mind the ADS FOV , independent is really good mix for high FOV, because your shot will be easier when aiming, but wider from the hip , tho it can be a tad disorienting

They NEED to change the colour of the tags on the mini-map in KC. They currently appear too similar to enemy players. Should be able to alter the objective colour in these menus somewhere
I wish there was more HUD customization personally. When playing regular matches, I'd like to get rid of the kill feed and simplify the killstreak indicators like they are in hardcore.
They need to add the option to toggle ads focus (hold breath), in stead of hold. This was in the previous game, not sure why it’s not included here.

Question...Do you use dolby atmos or DTS X headset apps? If so which one is your preference?
One setting that I would recommend is changing the Color Filter Settings -> Filter 2. This is less washed out than default and the contrast between green and yellow is better.
I'm having a blast in this game !!! Game isn't perfect but so far I'm having more fun than Cold War and Vanguard.

What about the haptic triggers? I noticed that there's a ton of deadspace on the trigger "pull" until the gun fires. I had a hell of a time feathering off shots and just kept getting huge full auto bursts.
In MW 2019 I actually use a controller with no aim assist and a linear curve...
I also love immersion in MP or SP so I keep vibration on! ^_^
Ace I’m assuming you’ll be doing gun guides I’m really excited for the camo grind this year I’m thinking I’ll actually want to do it this time since it doesn’t take 30 some games to level a weapon up in this game and there aren’t dumb repetitive long shot challenges
what about weapon fire threshold option just like in Vanguard?? It always senses like you need to half press trigger to fire weapon in mw2.

@@MrCoolbanna i havebumper jumper tactical flipped. but i map my slide to my right trigger. it was especially needed for mw2019 with slidecancelling and for dropshotting. no im used to this layout. what do you usually use?
@@hamira1696 there is no slide canceling in this cod tho
@@hamira1696 I used to play bumper jumper tactical flipped, but having slide on right trigger is a great idea and now that I think about it should be the default for that preset. However after not playing for couple years I was getting mixed up on the controls so decided to just play claw default and found it really easy and play way better that way for some reason.

Right. I wish there was a toggle for the lowest possible survivable deployable point to the extent where you may be lightly injured but still alive
If u turn on filter 2 for color customization under interface and both, u get adjustable color intensity for console too. More vibrant colors.

No In-game crossplay toggle is ridiculous. Any idea if/when this will be fixed?

What about the 120hz option on the next gen consoles?
Can you measure if that fidelity FX mode will slow the input lag on your monitor? Normally any resolution upscaling effect will slow down input lag due to more image processing.

I only feel the lag with the fx activated, what i did was lower the dead zone to 0,2 and raise the sensitivivy to 10 and now with a couple of hours playing like this i alreeady got used to it and i not feel it
I put the fx at 60, if i put it stronger if i feel very strong the lag
@@donlimpio5466 i went to 1440p on my 4k monitor and switched from adaptive sync to directly target 120hz and low input lag ON. Fidelity FX at 50 - 60 will feel fast. Image quality will drop as ghosting is more noticed. I use to play at 10 sensitivity now i love how it feels setting it at 13. Almost as good as a PC speeds.FX mode work really good in sharpening, only exception is ghosting due to the disabling of adaptive sync
Is there any way to change reticle color? I'm red green colorblind and have an incredibly hard time seeing it against any kind of background
Hi Ace. I've noticed one or two we'll know call of duty streamers posting new settings videos saying the game has changed since the last patch. As you are my main go to channel for call of duty I'm wondering have you changed anything or do you see anything different in settings sine the patch dropped. Thanks.

If you want to try a new controller layout, may I suggest, Bumper Jumper Tactical with R1/L1 flipped. I randomly tried it out one day and have been using it since, so this is just if anyone else wants to try and see if it works for them aswell

@@nikolasminnetti4076 Playstation, but you can use any controller with this layout if it feels right for and the game has those settings
Been using that layout for about five years, goated setting when using a standard controller
Definitely the best layout so jumpshotting and dropshotting is a lot easier
Used this set up for a long time I always felt like it’s the best for default controller
Maybe one of you can help…. I applied these settings which are Top Notch by the way. Problem for me is when I log in the next time, all the settings have reset to default. I have to enter them every time I play. Putting a “star” and saving the settings don’t work either. Any advice? Thank you.
Do you recommend 120hz to be on?
On my PS5 i find myself triggering the melee when I try to aim while on ADS. Is there any adjustment will will effect the R3 button sensitivity? Right now I had to re-map the button to do crouching so at least I can keep firing if I accidentally press the R3

I'd like to be able to open the menu mid-match on my PS4 as it currently doesn't work most of the time. Therefore I'm unable to leave matches or change classes for example.
