- This video is something I get questions on all the time! From both clients and stylists.
Whats the maintenance of a balyage?
Depending on the level and tone, anywhere from 3-6 months! Sometimes even longer!
What does a maintenance service require?
For a color like the one in my video, we deepened her roots since she likes them a little darker than her natural, pulled some lowlights through out her ends and brought just a few blondes up. This service only took 15 minutes to do and 1 hour total with processing and styling time! Other balayage's may just need a toner refresh, it's all in the type of balayage you get!

You do beautiful work!! Could you do a video with different highlight weaving techniques and the effects they give. Also, don't know if you or someone on here could help. I still have difficulty foiling close to the root, either I get bleeding or it's not close enough to the root

How much do you have to pay in general around? For a refresh touch?
How do you keep your lightener from drying out during the 25 minute processing time? Do you ever re-saturate?
@jessigish is that a special comb you use to blend the roots down? I used a regular cutting comb before but felt like it made it spotty.. any tips or special combs to make it comb through seamlessly?, thanks xo

I am way too far from you to come see you in person.. but I have Ash 6 hair and hate the darkest of it and I had blonde with it for a while but such a drastic difference. Can you suggest anything for me? I have some grey hairs around my face and the top of my head.

looks great! thank you for sharing. you shouldn't use your scale for anything but weighing. you could break the mechanism inside by putting too much pressure on it.

Hey Jessi! Not sure if I caught a mistake, but could u pls clarify... when u were mixing the second formula for her ends u said u have to add warmth since she's a blonde so u did 0.4 of 7NW then u said u took 6N up to 0.7 but then u said u want a little more N than NW. 0.4 to 0.7 is only 0.3 so that's less than the warmth u added? Haha I'm sorry it's confusing, but I hope u understand. I'm just trying to clarify so I understand correctly. Thanks so much! 😊

I didn't know that you could use shades eq on dry
Sintia Fernandez it’s meant to use on dry hair. It’s just also used on damp hair as a toner. However redken recommends using on dry hair. But I use it both ways.

Can you explain why you mix a 7 and a 6?
Average Me to make it a 7 and a half. So half a shade lighter than the root. As she said, because the porous blonde with grab darker.
