In the video, I demonstrate the 8 x8 size washcloth. Some of you have asked how many pegs to wrap for a 10 x 10-inch washcloth. I was doing 24 pegs. However, I now say 28 pegs for the 10 x 10 washcloth. (This will help account for any shrinkage.)🧶

Hey Wanbui!! I really like your videos. It has helped me learn how to make different things besides scarves and hats. I want to make these wash cloths and already have some yarn that bought several years ago that I think would make great wash cloths, the only thing is that it is not 100% cotton, it is 72% cotton and 28% nylon. Do you think that this yarn would make good wash cloths even though it's not 100% cotton?
Hi Joy! Your 72% cotton yarn should work beautifully. It has taken me a while to catch up on the comments lately. I hope it is not too late for what you wanted to make the washcloths for. Thank you for the lovely comment and for reaching out. All the best to you!🌻🌻🧶
@@WambuiMadeIt No it's not too late!! Thank you so much. I'm trying to make some Christmas gifts. I have made a few dish clothes from the yarn that I had and they turned out great!!! Hi Kate! Thank you so very much for watching. I am glad you enjoyed. For bathroom washcloths, I would say jut make sure they are made from 100% cotton and wash them Iike you would any other washcloth in your washing machine before using the first time. All the best to you! 🌻🧶🌻
I'm new at loom knitting. I love doing it. I just want to learn different stitches. I want to learn to purl stitch first. I know how to e and s stitch.
Your teaching is so kind. Thank you. In a video…can’t remember which but you said that you ball all your yarn. Is that just Hanks or is that regular skeins as well?
Hi Sandi! Thank you so very much for watching and thank you for the lovely comment. I turn ALL of my yarn into a ball before I start the project. While it is possible - and some have told me that when using a skein, they just find, pull, and use the yarn right from inside the skein. I did that a few times and ran int tangles or knots that I didn’t expect. So, for me, I wind all yarn into a halo just so that I can say I have seen the whole length of the yarn and that there will be no surprises along the way. It is just my preference. However, I highly recommend it 🤗. Have a beautiful weekend! All the best to you!🧶🧶🌻

If you did make a bathmat would just do squares and than sew them together? I can't find a video on how to loom knit one. Your a great teacher. I was making fingerless gloves and came by to your stretchy bind off. It helped!

I have a question, is that 4 ply 100% cotton yarn, 🤔? So by using 2 colors that makes 8 ply in total?
I love the way the teach thank you 😊
You're the best teacher! Love loom knitting dish cloths because of you. Having issue at the end when the dish cloth is taken off the loom and the yarn is pulled through the loop. Most times my dish cloth comes apart. Do you have an idea what I am doing wrong?
Hi Jean! Thank you so very much for watching and for being on the channel. I am happy that you find the videos helpful. I am sorry to hear about your frustration in taking the wash cloth off the loom. I watched the video again and try to figure out what might be going wrong. I’m not sure what to tell you because it has worked every time for me and others. If you would like to send me a photo of how it looks when you take it off the loom, I will try to see if I can give you some suggestions. My email address is Wambui @ wambuimadeit dot com.
