    I’m going to start making these wash cloths in “spa” colors to donate to a charity shop that makes its own spa products (soaps, lotions, etc). This will make a nice addition and they can sell it as a package, maybe even make a “spa basket” gift item! Thank you, Denise!

    Edit: I was finally able to pick up a round loom and just finished my first washcloth. I had only been able to do double knit stitches on a rectangle loom before this and had almost given up on being able to do single stitch projects. Now I am looking forward to see what else I can make, thank you for these videos and the confidence they add to my crafting. Also the trick about tightening the cast on loops worked perfectly. Thank you again :)
    this is the best loom knit video i've seen, the way you slowly describe the stitches, the pattern of them. I have just gotten into loom knitting and so far have not been able to do single stitch knitting because everyone always says to do the ewrap, except for me that stitch always ends up too tight. I'm going to give this pattern a try and see if that will make a difference.

    My poor menopause brain has a hard time with patterns, sometimes I forget what I'm doing while I'm doing it! So I really love your tip, by doing an odd number of stitches and marking every other peg, and doing the K1 P1 to the right and P1 K1 to the left, I'm able to use this tutorial to learn the seed stitch. I really hate making swatches so a dishcloth is nice, and in this case I'm using some leftover number 4 worsted weight on a half inch gauge loom and if it works out well I'm going to call it a coaster :) as many people have said before I just love your tutorials.

    Will the chain cast on,or Italian cast on, prevent those loose loops you talk about?

    • @LoomaHat
      @LoomaHat  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hey Jon! 🥰 The problem is primarily when you use a large gauge loom and any weight below #5 chunky. At least, that’s been my experience. Plus some folks are ok with them being a little loose- I’m super picky about what I bring to my community of Loomas.

    I have the same gauge loom as hers but find that I have to do the bind off really loose to make it look nice. This is just the opposite of what she says to tighten.
    She might be using a cotton blend yarn and not 100% cotton which doesn't stretch. I am using I love this cotton yarn by Hobby Lobby.
    FYI my bind off has a lot of slack.
