Your tutorial videos are some of the best. Very clear directions, and you hold the project so that the viewer can see what you are doing. Keep up the good work!
Oh my goodness Denise you are the best teacher on here I enjoy so much watching your videos I wanted to explore on here and see what you had on knitting with washcloth and girl you are the best one I found that explains so well on things I enjoy watching you and I really like talking to on Instagram you are such a sweet beautiful kind lady hope you and your family are doing well. God bless you be safe .
Thanks for this video. I thought that loom knitting was trivial, but now I see that there's far more to it than I realized and it can make wonderful things!
Denise, you're such a great teacher and I suspect much has to do with your very pleasant attitude and soothing, calm voice. You may be a "Wild Woman" in real life but to me and many others you are a Sweetheart Deluxe.
I’m going to start making these wash cloths in “spa” colors to donate to a charity shop that makes its own spa products (soaps, lotions, etc). This will make a nice addition and they can sell it as a package, maybe even make a “spa basket” gift item! Thank you, Denise!
Thank you for the tidying up the end tip. I am a large gauge loom worker and that tip has proved to be most easier and does tidy up the beginning of project. 👍🏻🌹👍🏻
Edit: I was finally able to pick up a round loom and just finished my first washcloth. I had only been able to do double knit stitches on a rectangle loom before this and had almost given up on being able to do single stitch projects. Now I am looking forward to see what else I can make, thank you for these videos and the confidence they add to my crafting. Also the trick about tightening the cast on loops worked perfectly. Thank you again :) this is the best loom knit video i've seen, the way you slowly describe the stitches, the pattern of them. I have just gotten into loom knitting and so far have not been able to do single stitch knitting because everyone always says to do the ewrap, except for me that stitch always ends up too tight. I'm going to give this pattern a try and see if that will make a difference.
Good description about tightening the cast on stitches. This washcloth has so many uses and so comfortable to use for bathing, kitchen, baby or beauty. Very nice.
Love, love, love your videos. I'm new to this and have found your videos are amazing. So easy to understand. I don't get frustrated so much anymore and i'm proud of my projects Thank you.
I really love the way that you give instructions and display what you are talking about. Me and my mother love to watch you. My mother would like to say thank you for helping her get comfortable and learn so much on the loom. You are great and have amazing skills and I love that you take the time and energy to make these videos for us.
Thank you! So easy to follow your videos! My first loom project was the brimmed hat! Loved the explanation to clean up the beginning edge stitches. The explanation and visual was super clear. Will be making this today. Good way to learn stitches on a small piece that is also functional! Love & Happy Mother’s Day!
My poor menopause brain has a hard time with patterns, sometimes I forget what I'm doing while I'm doing it! So I really love your tip, by doing an odd number of stitches and marking every other peg, and doing the K1 P1 to the right and P1 K1 to the left, I'm able to use this tutorial to learn the seed stitch. I really hate making swatches so a dishcloth is nice, and in this case I'm using some leftover number 4 worsted weight on a half inch gauge loom and if it works out well I'm going to call it a coaster :) as many people have said before I just love your tutorials.
I love your videos!!! Thank you so much! I have a question: What is the difference between the u- wrap stitch and the flat- wrap stitch? They look the same to me.
Thank you for this easy and lovely stitch! I think this would make a cute baby hat and will be trying it after I finish my open weave stitch project (love this stitch too-easy and pretty). Hugs to you, Denise
You really should, and the advice to add a counter - definitely need that. You will help so many of us! (And make a pretty penny or million!) I will buy one for myself and everyone I know who loom knits!
I really enjoy your videos. Very clear and well explained directions. I will have to add this to my list. Going to see if I can find the tool you are using with the larger handle. The smaller ones bend on me
Hey Jon! 🥰 The problem is primarily when you use a large gauge loom and any weight below #5 chunky. At least, that’s been my experience. Plus some folks are ok with them being a little loose- I’m super picky about what I bring to my community of Loomas.
I love your videos, thank you so much for the key to P1, K1 when going left and K1, P1 when going to the right, my old brain just struggled with remembering. Any easy ways to remember when working in the round ?
Yep - I had to figure one out because of my ADD I have to find tricks - When in the round I keep count on paper and my odd rows are for P1, K1 and my even are K1, P1 - hope that helps Sweet Sally ! AND thank YOU for the thank you - I soooooooo appreciate it
I have been using the chain stitch cast on so that I will not have to pull the other end. Also, the chain stitch looks alot like the bind off. Thanks for the videos. Please show an easy way to do a graphghan where the back is not so messy.
Thank you so much for your videos. I wanted to ask you if dish cloths need to be cotton? And if yes you only used 1, my cotton is so thin I would think I'd need to use 2. Thank you.
Hi Denise :) i love your videos.. you explain everything so clearly.. i was wondering.. are you from a French background? i keep listening to your accent trying to figure out where you are from or perhaps you have the accent from your family?.. please put me out of my misery LOL
I have the same gauge loom as hers but find that I have to do the bind off really loose to make it look nice. This is just the opposite of what she says to tighten. She might be using a cotton blend yarn and not 100% cotton which doesn't stretch. I am using I love this cotton yarn by Hobby Lobby. FYI my bind off has a lot of slack.
Can you use 2 strands of yarn , one scrubby yarn and the other cotton ? I make scrubbies , but would like to make a washcloth with the scrubby yarn . Thank you
Omg! I knew I had seen this pattern before. There’s a lady on Facebook selling this exact pattern!!! So I’m assuming she used your pattern as her own!!!
Could you do the crochet cast on to get a pretty edge like that? Or would it still be wicked loose like the e wrap was? I’m just wondering if that would make it so you don’t have to tighten up the edge?
I'm not sure. This video is a bit older but there should be a link to a webpage in the description. Those post normally include more detail about the project then the video which mostly focuses on making the project.
Kim - the project is done flat so the shape of the loom doesn’t effect the pattern and yes you can use 3/8 but the size of the finished product will be different since I’m using 5/8.
I love this, I love the way you are so clear with instructions.
Thank you so much! 💛

So pretty! I just brought a set of round looms today. Am happy I can do more than round things on them!
thank you. I have learned so much from you and your videos. My wife is amazed at what I do and I conpliment you every time. Again thanks.
Thank you for the tidying up the end tip. I am a large gauge loom worker and that tip has proved to be most easier and does tidy up the beginning of project. 👍🏻🌹👍🏻
thank you , that was so helpful showing how to tighten up the tie off like that. I will be a regular on your channel from now on.

3:41 Row2
Love all of your videos. Made one and decided I want more of this stitch, but a little bigger. So easy to follow. Thank you, Denise.

Yeah - that 1/2 is going to make this tiny ... so a coaster may be your best bet ; )
Great job Denise. Quite thorough and understandable. Thanks. Maria H.
Thank you! 😊 💛🌼
Thank you for making this video. Did not know you could use one strand of yarn on this type of loom
Thank you! Your tutorial has been the easiest and clearest to follow!
Glad it helped! AND Thank YOU for the Thank you 💛
I love your videos!!! Thank you so much! I have a question: What is the difference between the u- wrap stitch and the flat- wrap stitch? They look the same to me.
You are the BEST teacher!! Thank you.

Thank you my friend !
Thank you, thank you so much. I needed to learn how to tighten up the end.
Amazing, you make it so easy to understand!
Glad to know that! Thank YOU so much for the feedback ! 💛💛💛
Well I FINALLY get the tightening of the cSt on stitches. I’m going to practice. Thank you!
Thank YOU for the thank you 💛💛💛
That’s really pretty, thanks for the great beginner project!
Thank YOU Lisa !!!
Yay! Finally one that doesn't need fine gauge!! Thank you!❤
That's exactly why I did this one
And I got it (for the most part...just messed up a little cleaning up the loose beginning edges). Thank you SO SO much!!
Thank you. You teach very well! And the tips are so helpful!!
Thank you so much!!!!!!! I need ideas for 3 weeks!! Bed rest after surgery
I'm going to invent a loom with led displays under each peg, so that you can change the letters as you need to. K/P, P/K. Lol
I have as thinking like little letter d charms! K/p
Put a little row counter on it, would ya? I'd buy one!
You really should, and the advice to add a counter - definitely need that. You will help so many of us! (And make a pretty penny or million!) I will buy one for myself and everyone I know who loom knits!
I would buy that
Rad idea!
You are amazing!! Thank you for explaining how to do these. Your instruction is easy to follow, and I appreciate you making these videos.
Thank YOU Tori!!! Your kind words are very appreciated.
You are such a fantastic teacher! I tried looming years ago but quit cuz I couldn't figure out what the heck I was doing. Now, I found you, yea!!
I love milk yarn and buy it from a shop on Ali Express. Your videos are so helpful. Thank you from my heart.
I love your tutorials.
Do you think you could show us how to loom knit a towel topper with button? Your the best teacher!
You're excellent at teaching! Thank you!
You are a God send ❤❤ and a blessing and awesome thanks so much for your lessons

Great instructions! Love the pattern 👌
I love this thank you quite understandable very informative tutorial
I really enjoy your videos. Very clear and well explained directions. I will have to add this to my list. Going to see if I can find the tool you are using with the larger handle. The smaller ones bend on me
💗 your tutorials, you’re a great teacher... ty
Yay! Thank you for taking the time to show this and explain the way you did. Very easy to follow! I will be making these today😍
Thank YOU Miranda - glad you liked it !!!
Excellent instructions. Thank you!
i know what i am going to do in my vacation!! thank you denise 😘
I use to make these but Im having a "Hey!" moment closing the edge off like that. Mine always looked sloppy. This is awesome!
Will the chain cast on,or Italian cast on, prevent those loose loops you talk about?
Hey Jon! 🥰 The problem is primarily when you use a large gauge loom and any weight below #5 chunky. At least, that’s been my experience. Plus some folks are ok with them being a little loose- I’m super picky about what I bring to my community of Loomas.
@LoomaHat What loom would you recommend? I do not like the loose cast on either. I am wondering if I should try a different gauge loom.
I love this stitch. I am going to make my mom my daughters my sisters and of course myself some
Please let me know how we make it on a long loom
Thanks for this dishcloth. Can I use two strands - one cotton and one scrubby for this pattern?
I like this and I am going to make some for my family
Great tutorial!
Thank you VERY much ! 🙂
Hi can we do this on a long rectangular loom
Thanks for the video, nice stitch.
very nice never seen cast off idea love it
Thank YOU D - glad you liked it !!!
Hi Denise, I'm using the seed stitch to make a scarf. What bind off should I use? Your videos are the bestest!! 😍
Totally amazing, thanks for showing how to clean the ends up
On the patterns that require cotton yarn, does it matter if I use acrylic?
The size might change a bit but other than that you're ok
What’s the difference between flat and uwrap, flat just isn’t being pulled farther behind peg?
I love your videos, thank you so much for the key to P1, K1 when going left and K1, P1 when going to the right, my old brain just struggled with remembering. Any easy ways to remember when working in the round ?
Yep - I had to figure one out because of my ADD I have to find tricks - When in the round I keep count on paper and my odd rows are for P1, K1 and my even are K1, P1 - hope that helps Sweet Sally ! AND thank YOU for the thank you - I soooooooo appreciate it

Nicole Cox did a video on Fair Isle - which is basically the same thing - might be helpful ruclips.net/video/98qYH5uBZVo/видео.html
Thanks. I am going to check it out.
Thank you so much for your videos. I wanted to ask you if dish cloths need to be cotton? And if yes you only used 1, my cotton is so thin I would think I'd need to use 2. Thank you.
Excellent instructions!!!
Denise the link to the type of yarn you are using is an Amazon page that has many gauges and styles, can you be specific on that?
Im using peaches and cream yarn and its a size 3 i think. Its very very loose. I wonder if i should double up and use two strands of yarn.
The yarn used in this project is a medium #4 worsted weight. I have tested the pattern with a number 3 but using two strands as one should work fine .
Can you knit this with needles?
Can you link the video where it shows how to pull the loops to make both sides of the cloth look the same?
Do you have any idea how to do a hexagon flat panel on a round loom?
Can u do this on long loom
What cotton yarn do you use I mean the brand?
Hi Denise :) i love your videos.. you explain everything so clearly.. i was wondering.. are you from a French background? i keep listening to your accent trying to figure out where you are from or perhaps you have the accent from your family?.. please put me out of my misery LOL
ToooOOooo funny 😆 I didn’t know I had an accent. No - no French background, I’m Hispanic. Parents immigrated from Dominican Republic 🇩🇴.

Can you use this stitch for a baby blanket?
Love, love, love !!!! As usual!!!!!!
Thank YOU Vaun - so glad you love it !!!
Can you make the washcloth/dishcloth on a 31 peg loom the next step up from the 24? Or should I get a 24 peg small loom
Oh thank you, mine took a few days to make..
Looks great tfs
Thank you❣️
I have a question for you, how would you change this to work with a long knitting board?
Can I ask what the dimensions of this cloth will be? Thank you Denise!😊❤
I'm not sure. This video is a bit older but there should be a link to a webpage in the description. Those post normally include more detail about the project then the video which mostly focuses on making the project.
Have you made towels using this or a similar method?
I enjoy your videos.
Hi Pat - I have not but the concept is the same just add more rows
Great !
Ace, many thanks
thank you for the video god bless you you make nice thing
Another excellent project, as usual. Would this work on a small gauge loom? Have a wonderful weekend 😎
Yes but you would have to add more stitches and more rows
Thank you. I can always try your other washcloth pattern. 😍
Where did you get stitch makers
Here's a link loomahat.store/collections/stitch-markers
Can i use loom with 36 peg plz answer me
Can the same pattern be done with a 3/8 round loom?
Kim - the project is done flat so the shape of the loom doesn’t effect the pattern and yes you can use 3/8 but the size of the finished product will be different since I’m using 5/8.
@@LoomaHat thank you for your response…😊
can you knit them together after to make a blanket, is there any reason you wouldnt want to?
Yes you can link them together : Here is one that is a little bit different: ruclips.net/video/nF-XvjbxCGo/видео.html
Can anyone help me find a loom knit dishcloth pattern with a cross design?
Can this be done on a straight loom?
I guess 🤷♀️ I mean it is knitted flat after all
Can I use sugar'n cream yarn
Yes - will work nicely 👍🏽
