Bruno said he was having trouble writing this song and he called the best song writer that he knows, Baby Face and told him that he needed his help and Baby Face came over and helped him finish up the song.
My favorite song on this album, which is tough because every song is amazing. I think the thing I love most about Put on a Smile is the rasp in Anderson's voice combined with the rawness of lyrics and emotions in this song just elevate it so much.

I highley recommend you listen to “Fly as Me” by Bruno and Anderson, it’s from the same album. It’s so fire, and Anderson was rapping on it. His flow was insane.
What's funny is that 777 is probably next to last as the best song on the album. Don't get me wrong. It's fire. But, the album is just that brilliant. 777 will probably make them more money than all the other songs combined. In a year's time, it will be getting played 24/7 in ever casino in the world!!!!!
