Wow! I am new to sewing and many people have told me that sewing zippers is very difficult. I’m so glad that I watched your video first before seeing anyone else’s videos. You made it look so easy. And so professional. And you made everything very clear and easy to follow and understand. I’m in the USA, so we’re still on the imperial system, but you made your measurements simple for me to understand. I thank you for being such a good and thorough instructor. I will definitely be referring back to this video when I’m ready to do a zipper. 🦋

This is so beautiful and clean! I have a question , why sometimes the waist line doesn’t match after I sew the zipper and how can I fix it if that happens ? Should I open the stitch and do it again ? Thank you so much for your time ❤️🫶🏼🫶🏼

Your dress is so gorgeous!! Thank you for this fantastic zipper tutorial! I have had dresses in the past, where the zipper will start to fall down, with a little bit of pressure. Would you recommend sewing in an eye hook to prevent this?

Oh, I forgot to mention a hook and eye closure, by the way! This is a good point! I definitely recommend doing so on the skirts.

how wide the seam allowance for invisible zipper?
1 cm. If your seam allowance doesn't match a zipper width, place a zipper further or closer to the edge, but keep teeth on a seam.

I hate invisible zippers. They are usually hard to zip and break easily. Why did we get away from lapped zippers.
Actually, it is a good question! But invisible zippers look so neat, nice and smooth! I can't say I hate them. 😀
