Her style of teaching is so understandable, she gets to the point instead of trying to say unnecessary things. I’m surprised she doesn’t have more followers because her sewing is so professional her stuff seems to belong in a boutique.

Make sure you make a mock up in cheap fabric first, then make with quality tweed. I would love to know how it turns out if you make one. Have u seen her tutorial when she makes a Chanel bag from tweed? Daria is very skilled seamstress.

🧵 Thank you so much for this tutorial, Daria. I was given a piece of tweed fabric recently and I think there is enough for a Chanel style jacket. I am a Grandmother in Scotland and have been sewing all my life, but now I am old and my eyes and hands are not good it takes me a long time. I’m glad to see that you teach people to do the job properly at the beginning, lining everything up, the way my mother taught me. It is worth taking the time at the beginning so that it is easier as you go along and achieve a better result. I have subscribed to your channel and will watch your other videos to see what else I can make. Best wishes to you and your family from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🥰

Hello! Thank You very much for this video. I bought a Chanel Jacket pattern from Vogue and used your technique instead of the pattern included instructions and the jacket turned out perfect, even though it was my first such project. I really liked the tips about the fluffy peace on the seam allowance of the sleeve and the lining transition on the front down🤓 these took the final look to the next level!! Now purchased some of your patterns🙏

Watching this as the fabric attracted my attention and wondered if you handwove it, and its giving me ideas for weaving. I dont know what a Chanel jacket is, is it a style or design a famous person made? I am wearing a similar design but is all cotton waffle weave and very comfy and looks nice on me. Nicely done video and outfit !
