So happy to see you guys exploring this side of music.
As always I love your reactions. Thanks for letting me be a part of the village.
It's Radiohead 💯 no complaints.
Love seeing you all - like serious, open, thoughtful and smart reactors - start digging my favorite band (well my 4 favorite artists are Radiohead, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pink Floyd, and A Tribe Called Quest) - I often wonder if anyone has that same list - I went to HS in the early 90s, so it all shakes out. This one in particular is my favorite song by my favorite band. While these lists ought to be taken with a grain of salt, they aren't totally meaningless, and 5 of Radiohead's 9 albums have been on the Rolling Stone top 500 Album list - doesn't mean everyone should like them nor put everything on that list, but it also speaks to what level these guys are operating at. Their Achilles heel is many of their songs just don't hit on listen one, some not listen 5 - some took me 5 years break and returning to fall in love with (those are rare but you get it) so many people just cruise on by, not hearing a good 'starter song' as they can be very experimental. But, if they hit home, and get their hooks into the musical part of your brain, it can be a lifetime joy musically to add to what I imagine is your immense musical mental library. Vin, as a guitar player, Radiohead is a phenomenal band to get into and learn songs - they write at a little more complex level, but not so much it is discouraging - like a perfect blend of challenging to get better PLUS now having some super cool tunes under your belt that work on acoustic or electric. This song right here is a prime example - there is an acoustic version ("There, There: Live with Thom and Jonny) that is one of the most beautiful things you'll ever hear. When I set out to learn most of them (some immediately I was like, nope, over my ability, and some were easy - "Creep" - but so fun to know, and others made me stretch a bit and it enhanced my skills so much as I grew into a better and better player. So, thanks; I am so happy to see this track on here, much gratitude and glad you have been liking this band that means so much to me, as I try to b a more serious musician playing out and recording. But man I love music reaction videos - I am pretty sure I know why, but I never would have figured it for a nightly fun 30 min routine. Your time and effort IS 100% acknowledged and appreciated!
Still waiting for any analysis or even a reference to the actual music rather than a load of amateur philosophical waffle between themselves that has little to do with even the song lyrics.
😊😊
I still can’t believe Kid A charted at no1 on the billboard charts in 2000. That album sounds like the future today.
It's about not being caught up in illusions
Joey Santiago’s all over this, a long time influence of Jonny’s. Great song!
I love Jonny's guitar tone on this version.
Hardly anyone is doing the deep dive of radiohead a lot of channels. I like are stuck on
Paranoid Android. Yet obviously
There a lot more . I have seen them live three time the first time at the goerge in washington
2001 then hail to the thief.
And in rainbows.
the reason why radiohead did there, there was Bjork track of the same idea and asked bjorn if they could do another version as they liked the track bjork did human i believe it was so yes i love the track and the video.
And surpised you guys haven't done Karma Police
You need to do MF DOOM
Myrath - Dance reaction plzzzzzzzzzzzzz
studio version is much better
Hail to the thief is very poorly engineered
@@CC-oi9mc It won the grammy for best engineered non classical, so it's not that bad. It's only rough by Radiohead/Godrich standards. I personally think that's what gives the album charm.
@@PresidentHotdog closed off audio staging, very little dynamics, incredibly dry tone. I hate it personally, just the recording not the songwriting of course. I think Sail to the moon is the best mix there and still doesn’t do the song justice at all.
@@CC-oi9mc like I said, we've got Radiohead albums with perfect production but I quite like the difference here. This whole album has a totally different tone. It's still better than the mix on Muse's Origin of Symmetry even with how fast it was recorded. (Love to throw Muse under the bus whenever I can.)
I luv the there there demo,..
YOU MISSED THE BEST EVER, MAGICA. AN ALBUM ABOUT THIS AI TAKEOVER. RONNIE DIO'S BEST IN MY HUMBLE OP. YOU MISSED IT. AHHH.
