Oh. My. Gosh. I copied all your settings, and for the first time in MSFS I have no stuttering when looking straight down at objects on the ground! Thank you so much!
I thought reducing the multiplier in the Oculus app would reduce clarity of buildings, but my perception is that objects are actually clearer. I did not cap framerate, and was getting a solid 45 fps.

I have a RTX 3080 as yourself, Ryzen 5600x and Quest 2. Your settings here have given me a fresh breath of life in the sim. I have played with my settings way too much over time. Usually just get it right then an update lands and my sim feels awful again. TY for taking the time to do this video. I am loving it again now. I have bumped my clouds up to ultra though as they seemed to look a bit cartooney and still do to be honest, stuff in distance looks slightly pixelated but its the smoothest most enjoyable flight i have ever had last night. Cheers

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Unfortunately, at the moment there are newer drivers and openxr than you have in the video and there are differences. I have configured everything as much as you have, but I can’t read the instruments (they look blurry) as if the resolution is low, how can I add it? What is the relationship between VR resolution and monitor? How to make the EGR VR resolution higher?

With these settings and quite a few variations, I am very disappointed with the terrain quality I am seeing. The cockpit seems sharp and crisp but the view outside is terribly low resolution, and the buildings look horrible. I have the 12th gen. i9 129000K and an RTX 3080ti. When I am using 4K in 2D MSFS is simply stunning. The quality in the Quest 2 I am seeing resembles NTSC quality, not even 720p. True I have no stuttering and a high frame rate, but is this the best there is? This is using the Quest official tether cable to USB-C on my Corsair Vengeance. Any suggestions? I am hoping I have missed something obvious! :)

Great video thanks. I have a fairly consistent 10fps drop after changing the settings and dropping out of VR and back in again on my Quest 2. An exit to the main FS2020 menu screen followed by a restart of the flight is the only fix I have found to get back to full FPS?

Well, I have changed all my settings to the same as you in MSFS and using the XR Toolkit. Brilliant ! My frame rates have gone up 12.5% from 40 to a rock solid 45 minimum and sometimes above. I think I have lost a little sharpness in the instruments, but the smoothness is fantastic, stuttering out the sides (that annoyed me), has gone!. Even in somewhere like New York, solid 45FPS and like butter. I cannot thank you enough I have been tinkering for months ! One question should you also run the oculus tray tool, or not bother with that now?
    Thank you VERY much

Thanks for this video! I have a question: I have 3080 and recommended settings in Quest 2 is x2906 or 1.5x @ 2762, 72hz. Render @ 100% then change scaling in Openxr to 80% or lower. The issue is downscaling results is ugly textures, even @ x2188. You have x1818 but it looks good. The fact is I always have frame rate between 34-40, and it doesn’t change despite any adjustments I make. Higher than 80% results in weird warping and stuttering, but frame rate is still 30-37. Why does it stutter even with good frame rate?
