That seems like a reasonable request, I'm sure it's coming, I like having the buttons. Makes it to where I don't have to use my handbrake to navigate menus in VR.
I agree, I already have DSD button and synchronized gear indicator and flashing, total € 125, and it is much better. This at € 250 without lights, buttons and nonsense would be a best seller.
I would love to try out the mini! It's actually the wheelbase I want to experience the most. Didn't know they had a hydraulic paddle setup. I'll have to check that out.
@@DouglasThompson yeah they just recently released the hydraulic pedal in last couple of months if not mistaken... From the looks and design aspect and image, definately looking high end.. almost like a tilton pedal set
Hm, so the gear display isn't synced with the game? That's annoying if you're not sure if you are in last gear and try yank it, then it's unsynced for the rest of the race / stage.. Also, they really should use lock nuts.
Ya, hopefully there is a way to at least lock it to 6 or however many gears you choose but honestly the screen is so far away, it's not really practical for much of the gameplay...
They have corrected the issues in the new Q2 and the corrected the issues in the original model as well but yes there were problems with the first version.

I think a cheaper version with no buttons and no display would be nice. I won't pay extra for complexity I didn't ask for.

Hmm wonder if the circuit board can be sync with simhub? Be able to change gear numbers to whatever you'd like, that'd be sweet.
That would be cool, do you mean via USB?
I'd love to pull one apart and replace the electronics with an Arduino pro micro and make it open source and simhub compatible

Same here! Can't wait! The pedals I am running are the Fanatec V3s with the hydraulic kit.
Does it still work properly today? I have seen that it gives a lot of problems and I am thinking of buying the BJ Simracing.
