With very minimalistic design this shifter surprised me with the authentic feeling in use and very high quality build made of aluminum materials !
easily surpass my my previous SQ shifters and I come very close to my favorite Simagic Gear !

I got it today, and it feels so great, not too hard or soft to shift, travel is perfect, RBR or TCR cars driving feels really great, rarely say such words but man glad i saw this video also Barry and Mikes, it is pure enjoyment. It is not very silent but not very loud, maybe someone prefer harder shifters it is preferwnces but i’m glad that did not ordered Ailogs or simagic Q1s cheaper version than Q1. I hope my opinion will help to somebody as i made really big research on forums and youtube. Just buy PRO version not cheaper one ;) Race Beyound has my 💯 trust, when i bought SC2pro and was afraid if it will be good, it is crazy good as well, thanks for review, i’m going to shift with RBR ;)

You have convinced me I need a sequential shifter and not to rely on paddles only. I have paddles in my daily driver and they are great but I do miss the more involvement a shifter takes. It just looks like more fun watching you and great point about when the wheel is spinning it's nice to know exactly where the shift input is at any moment. Keep up the amazing work you are a true inspiration!!
For me adds just that much more fun for the experience but also keeps me going in and out of comfortable zone and I can adapt quickly to different circumstances 😃

You have become my top racing RUclipsr love your views on life and racing and have very high respect for your driving skills. I'm new to racing using a T300 with T-LCM Pedals and the Sparco rally wheel looking forward to getting a break and shifter as for now I map my handbrake my clutch and use the pedal shifters about 90% of my racing is rally Dirt 2 and WRC 9 and 10 loves me some rally racing.

I own this pro sequential shifter handbrake combo and I can tell you the build quality is second to none it is amazing and looks and feels like it came out of a real car well worth the money and when I emailed the builder he would email me back sometimes in moments more like a text it’s great to have direct contact with the builder of such a high-end piece of equipment leadtime was about five weeks but it’s worth it

@Cathode Ray Mission the SG Shifter is actually the only shifter i ever had without any movement .. solid as a tank and i have used many shifters till now ! Simagic have little movement !
@Cathode Ray Mission don’t forget your ability to order special handle colors things like that it really sets it apart I have a black handle on the shifter in a red handle on the handbrake I also ordered the micro switch option on the shifter instead of the Haliffect sensor I believe it is more durable like semiracing garage said

You need to stop making me spend money bro hahahaha. Sick shifter sick video sick music.... Will be checking that thing out. The mount for my Gordox lights will be here today. Thanks for helping me. I also got a BOX from Ariel from the UK. Looking at how I can mount that shifter and or button box today so I can finish my dash, I stopped until I have all my stuff or know exactly what and where I want it. Bro what editing software do you use? Been working on making better video's, some even funny lol My last one I think I got the view and camera dialed finally for my single screen. I went with Video Pad and it sucks. And I paid for it lol. I judge myself pretty well I feel I'm making better stuff and my goal is to just always look back and improve. But My software I feel is already holding me back. Have a good day man!

I haven't been on ACC for a while purely trying to master the Norshliefe an it's not on ACC so been on AC, I am getting faster, Bought some memory yesterday so I can try put up some better vids, I am going to try anyways, It's why I put so much practice in, Now I'm not that dude who can't drive at least, lol.....

The best SQ Shifter I've tried so far is the Pro-Sim Lite V2, feels even better than the Pro-Sim Pro SQ.

If the Pro-sim only had a longer shifter-stick, and more authentic looking like the SG shifter, i would be all over it.. And just making it longer wo`nt do the job, as the throw will be too long..
I`ve had this SG shifter for 5 months now, and i really like it! Still feels just as new.
@@-Ola-. Yeah, or the Jinx, that one looks really awesome as well!
And yes, I have tried using it with the extension and didn't like that, both the throw get a bit too long, and also the small play in the shifter gets more prononced..
But other than that, using it stock feels so great!
I guess if youre not going for a V8 super car or rally look, the Pro-Sim Lite V2 is spot on.

Sometimes companies "over design" / "overengineer" their products and a simple, less convoluted solution works better. I saw some new pedals which are so strangely designed and over-complicated, and a couple of reviews I saw, they all said that they are not "better" and "feeling" also isn't "authentic" when considering their price. Pedals I'm talking about are from Polish company "Another Way", named "Prime Pedals". Boosted Media did a recent video review.

Most of the times proper engineering is simple!

So happy I listened to you and got this. Sadly I already had the VNM handbrake (still amazing) but this SQ is one of my favorite things on my rig. It's also priced very well here in Canada its about the same as the aiologs or HE SQ but looks amd feels so much better than those. Not saying they are bad it's just another level of immersion. What game you playing for the drift sequence you showed.

Ah, that is way more superior then the SQ 1.5
The Fanatec shifter is the best product they have made ever and the H pattern is absolutely awesome but the SQ feels mushy !

Then I like very much the GT1 and GT3 card for just lapping around for fun but I don’t really enjoy racing with them !

From shifting filling I think I like the SG little more and found my self using most of the times!
From looking and future’s Simagic is my favorite with the extra buttons and that little display!

I agreed what u said about using sequential shifter. I drive old 92-95 Civic with manual gear stick shift, and always enjoy driving it to work and back. With the steering wheel shifter, i always rely on my mobile dashboard to show what gear i am in. And if the mobile dashboard app hang or crash, my race is ruined. I lost track of what gear i am in. :-) I am gonna get a sequential shifter. Question though, do u need to press the clutch to shift with sequential shifter? I never drive a sequential shifter car before.
You don’t need clutch! As I’ve said in the video, all SQ shifters need clutch only for hiring 1 first rear and then you need fast shifting without using clutch! Usually in real cars you need to lift the throttle before shifting to disengage the gear but in sim or more even most of the real cars is done electronically!

That is good question I’m asking myself last week !
They feel little different in the way they feel as the mechanism is different and I am leaning a bit to the SG ! Even if it have less mechanical movement it feels bit deeper in the shifting 🤔

do you ever use your clutch? I'm wondering how many people use sequential shifters but still use the clutch. Since there are only a couple of H-pattern shifters available on the market, I wonder why 99% of the people have a 3rd pedal
Well I use clutch only for start and I honestly can’t live without it but as you said is almost unnecessarily if you have other solutions!

Awesome work as always, Steliyan. You'd already convinced me to go get myself a Sim Magic SQ1 shifter and now there's another option! Quieter & cheaper is enticing and fits with the 'no need to spend money to have loads of fun' attitude you promote. But if you remove money from the equation, which of the two would you recommend? I'm using the Fanatec SQ v1.5 at the moment and it's missing that solid 'thunk' required for that immersive feeling.
I fear however that the Sim Magic is a bit noisy (info from other reviewers) as my kids sleep next door to the room my simrig is in...can you help at all with the choice?

I’ve head the simagic is crazy loud that it vibrates through the floor.
Simagic shifter is beautiful kit but in your case will definitely be too loud !
Of course this is not a quiet shifter too and is still louder then the Fanatec but have very beautiful feeling!
If you are concerned about noise definitely avoid the Simagic buddy!

I had the BJ shifter for about 2 years and was awesome shifter too ! The problem was with the mechanism and I had to two bolts every week till I did my own solution!
The Simagic is still my favorite but because of the buttons and the display!
Between Simagic and SG I for shifting I prefer the SG because is quieter and have little shorter throw!
Actually I have attached them now side by side and I will use them both!

@@gorraksmashskull I’m not sure if BJ have made some changes honestly! And the problem wasn’t big deal as I fit 2 bolts with the safety rubber and was good for long time ! By the way , the BJ was louder too and from all 3 the SG is the quieter! If nice is not problem you will be happy with all those 3 choices!
@@chepilevski I think the SG is going to be too expensive or I would buy it as I like the set (shifter/handbrake) so it is between the other two. Screen and buttons don't matter to me much as I race in VR so based on that I am thinking BJ. Unless there is something else I should look at... any suggestions?
