Thank you so much! Had a dead battery on my 2012 Pilot and after jumping it, both the ABS/VPS lights stayed on. So I knew it was a glitch. Tried several suggestions. Your's was the only one that worked. I've heard of people having to pay upwards of $50 to reset it. What a scam.
THANK YOU just got car back from shop. ABS light not turning off after they replaced sway bar link, a strut and wheel speed sensor. The strut had sheared off at the bolt under the hood. Thank you for a video with clear helpful info ✌🏽
Just want to say this worked on my 2000 honda accord v6 coupe in turning off the light. However the light did come back on almost right away b/c the new sensors I installed myself were not generating voltage, or so I thought. Once i fixed that (I had to reposition the new sensors a little due to the rust and the less than clean hole) the light went off by itself in like 10 seconds of driving. The sensor tip needed to be VERY close to the reluctor ring. I was hand turning the hub/bearing (wheel is off at the moment) while trying to get a voltage reading on my multimeter. Once I got a reading I tightened the bolt good and buttoned everything up and the light went off auto! Those other youtube videos failed to mention that you really should check resistance and voltage before putting everything back or that ABS light won't go away and you'll incorrectly think the new sensors were defective. PS if after doing this and your ABS light does go away but you notice your ABS activating under 10MPH as you slow down, then for sure your ABS wheel sensors are not generating any if much voltage. Lastly I TU and SUBBED this video bc his method worked as intended. If the light came back on , it is not his fault. Just means you've got an underlying issue, probably with the sensors.
my engine light, abs light, and vsa light turned off it worked but once I left to the store with in 15 seconds they all turn back on I drive a 2010 honda Accord v6 any clue what to do next?

ABS light illuminates... but the ABS light does not then go off for me. I tried pulling the 7.5A ABS fuse for a minute then replacing it but it made no difference. Any ideas?
@@pjsaltbabyrage7567 Yes, thanks, the ABS cable had been ripped out of the hub by the debris. It was a nightmare getting the remains of the old sensor out of the hub, had to drill a small hole through it and use a long bit of metal as a hook along with WD40 as I would have had to dismantle the hub to get the bits out if any had fallen through.
