I miss Dougo today.. my blood pressure drops 20 points when I watch you guys it’s so relaxing to watch you guys and how you get along how neat and clean everything is… I wish It was like that where I work
Can't believe we just watched Chet washing his wood. 🤣 But seriously, you guys are all awesome. I missed Douggo, the way he and Chet interact reminds me of my late father ( he passed in 1999.) Grandpa reminds me of my grandfather too. I really enjoy seeing how a well run farm works, and wish you all a bountiful harvest this upcoming season. Cheers from a rainy Idaho.
Armour all works good in the tingleys too. I was on the fence about Brody untill i found out he wears tinglys and drives a four lug beater car. He sounds like my kind of guy
Hey Chet, those Tingley footies are the BOMB! I’ve worn ‘em for most of my life and they sure beat wet feet. Easy on and “usually” easy off. Saves dragging all that mud up into your truck floorboard.
I used a steel brush to clean up a few grainery boards a few years back, and put the dust in a jar. Now anytime I want a reminder of what a wooden grainery smells like, there it is!
Merlin and Dougo sound exactly the same. Also a great drone video would be all the diggers and planters parked together and then rolling out for the season.
Little tip. Take a stick of white or pink chaulk and lightly rub it across the tire psi area and the letters will stand out and make it easier to read.
Grew up on a farm around 20 miles north of you..back in the 60's .removed a lot of those old boards from farm buildings ...Today have a company that trims out interiors of homes from 16 t0 85 thousands sq ft. We install old reclaimed lumber more then we'd like to in them..your right it's a big dirty job, but has a look and feel of farm days of long ago...looking forward to your breaking ground...would enjoy a ride in those big Cases you have the ride and coverage of ground compared to the JD 4010 and 16' field digger I'd run
Thanks for another great video Chet. It was interesting and enjoyable for sure. Appreciate all the filming you do for us so we can follow along and the editing. Wow, bet you thought when grandpa called you where in trouble for tearing up the soft yard. But you got off free. Ya!!!! Just boxes to get from fedex. Spring just around the corner so time to get the diggers really. You all do a great job of getting equipment ready. I admire you for the condition you keep your equipment in and ready to go. Great job. You all are doing a great job on prepping that old wood to use upstairs. Lot of work but looks great. Your office and upstairs quarters look very very nice. Nice facility you have for the farm operation. About it for now. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. Appreciate your filming and editing so we can follow along. Very enjoyable. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Chet, another great video! Thank you. I too am getting excited for your spring planting. Lol Are you doing all the editing of your videos now too? If so, you are doing a great job! I am a night nurse with no farming back ground at all, I have learned so much watching your videos. I have a new appreciation of today's farmers. Hugs to you all.♡
I think I may have to come from south central Minnesota to help Doug with you young whippersnappers this spring and fill in where you need someone to pull those little pieces of equipment. Only need power and water to my Cheiftain motorhome. I started farming with dad with a 10' JD digger and a 12" JD disk. I also see what looks like a IH 700 or 710 plow in the weeds.
love to see all videos chet. they are calling for another foot of snow up here in cent north dakota chet. april 22 to apr 24 2022. we will send it all down to you so you can hide what you did . from your grandpa ha ha ha.
We are so anxious to see the planting season and find out if all the prep and innovations and new equipment will work for LF. God Bless America and LF, and Big Swede too! Also, you have a few weeks to prepare and don't forget Mother's Day!
Great job Chet Eric and Broodie. Enjoyed it tractors all got implements on them and are ready to go let's get some work done thank you for sharing never miss a video and can't wait for next one
Everything is looking good and I am getting excited for planting to get going......love watching you guys do what you do and make the magic happen in the fields. Hope we get some good warm weather as well this year so we have a balance of moisture and some warm weather...........best of luck. Blessings
Hello Chet, I put old garden hose around any hydraulic hoses in the area that might rub. Works good on my Bobcat 443 skid loader. Love the videos keep up the good work and God bless and stay safe and be kind.
Chet you should drag your yard early in the morning so it can dry out and once it's dry you can drive over it and pack it then the water will run over it and you won't have a sloppy mess on your handsor you can use your roller and pack the gravel on your driveway.
the wood looks great...my dad/granddad built a 4-stall barn w/ corn crib in the middle out of pecky cypress...they had harvested the trees, had them milled out...years later I used some of it(after we tore barn down) in one of my homes...
OOOhh, I can't wait to plant corn🤩, greetings from Germany🤟🏻 Next Week I want to plant my corn can‘t wait untill it! Get in, I like your videos, keep it up Greet‘s FGH
This channel is what I am always so happy to see on my alerts . Thanks for sharing as much as you do. Long time subscriber. Just call me your happy subscriber. 😊
If you can purchase real tri-sodium phosphate (TSP) mix up some TSP with hot water, then spray the barn wood down, let sit 10-15 minutes and scrub with a stiff bristle brush, then rinse.. All the crud will come out of the wood. I have a rotary concrete for the pressure washer and it does a good job of scrubbing wood without burning it as what happens when you get the tip too close to the surface.
Interesting how different parts of the country call different equipment different names. I grew up on a farm in northern South Dakota and what you are calling a digger is what we also called them. But down here where I’m at now in southern South Dakota. They call them field cultivators. I love the fact that you bring back the term I’m used to and greatly enjoy the fact that it wasn’t just a quirky thing my family used. Thank you
One thing we used to do and worked grt is get old fire hose and put them where u have run problems and a lot of times u can go to local firehouse and get there old hoses for free just to get them out of there hair
Strain relief the hose that has a 90 on it now, to the frame it is next to, to keep the stress off of the fitting when it is folded down. I would suggest using stainless steel versions of the normal ratchet lock wire tie.
Over here in North Dakota we have had a weird spring snow melted then got 13 inches of snow now the snows is almost gone and this weekend where suppose to get a bunch of snow
And where does Winny go at days end? I always envisioned you going for supper with Eric but I guess that is done now. Soon you will be too busy to think about it. Good video. Pax.
Almost time to get the dirt flying. That means it is time to keep your ears open for land coming open; rent or buy. I don't think the problem is with Rae, it is a BS issue. 😀 There are a few definations to BS. With the team you have at Larson Farms, 2022 will be a productive year. Lay in a good supply of coffee, long days coming SOON.
In Minnesota it's best to aquire new land in the summer you you'll be able to get the fall tillage done . Also is when you buy crop inputs for the next year at a discount.
@2:40 Brodie - in NZ, we call those footwear 'galoshes'. They are hard to find in NZ stores. @2:57 Chet - get on board with them, they save many nuisance episodes with wet boots and shoes.
You probably know already, but there is a dye you put in the A/C systems before you recharge them! That way you could see if it's a bad leak, or if you have a hose ready to blow! Nothing worse than a A/C line blowing off while your charging it!
Great video Chet Dougo and Big Swede also Brody
Best line of the video, "were they wondering or surprised!" ... well done Eric!
We call them “scratchers” or cultivators in Mississippi. Digger is interesting
Hi All.
I really like and appreciate how you modify your equipment, for example the bracket for the red balls.
Ed from Chicago!
I miss Dougo today.. my blood pressure drops 20 points when I watch you guys it’s so relaxing to watch you guys and how you get along how neat and clean everything is… I wish It was like that where I work
Eeexactly! It's also relaxing for me :) And I'm not event from farming industry and from Europe :D Seen ALL Larsons videos :D
Don't give grandpa too much grief. He will be gone one day soon enough. God bless you Larsons and families of your help
HAHA, the look on your face when you answered that phone call and thought you were getting in trouble.
You could see the fear when chets phone rang! Was sure grandpa Larson had seen the tore up yard!🤣 thanks for the great videos! 🇺🇸✅
You need to send some of that rain over to Mt Vernon, South Dakota to help out Sonne Farms. They seem to always get passed over!
Nothing like a call from Grandpa! 🤣 Your brother-in-law has great knowledge. Have a safe spring!
Can't believe we just watched Chet washing his wood. 🤣

Those old white pine boards are gold to a woodworker.
Eric's right!! We was surprised!!
Armour all works good in the tingleys too. I was on the fence about Brody untill i found out he wears tinglys and drives a four lug beater car. He sounds like my kind of guy

Hello from Moosomin ,Saskatchewan, Canada Great videos you put for sharing.
Thank you Americans for feeding the world
Little tip. Take a stick of white or pink chaulk and lightly rub it across the tire psi area and the letters will stand out and make it easier to read.
One more time can't hurt. I love this channel!

When the diggers are in for planting prep it's a sure sign planting is just around the corner. Exciting days.
Yea if it ever stops raining
Just a couple of warm windy days and it's Go Time
Cultivator?

Larson Farms has the best farm office on You Tube.
Chet, thank you as always for sharing another great video. You, BS and the family take care and stay safe.

I can see Nicky smiling down on you she would have loved cleaning that wood 🪵
Always good to see you guys!

Yes indeed
Another good video. You guys are just about ready for the season. Enjoyed it. Thanks 👍👍👍❤️
Just finished listening to your podcast with shark farmer 👌
Farming went from a super labor challenging job to a high financially challenging and labor filled / mad scientist job.
“This is going to be an expensive year” that is going to be the understatement of the year 😂
Always get a clear explanation of whatever you are working on, how it works and why, great job ! ( from Canada )
Eric bowls? AWESOME!
Enjoyed your video Chet! It is so good to see Toby running around!!
13.30 I think the word you were looking for is "bunded storage container"😂
We are so anxious to see the planting season and find out if all the prep and innovations and new equipment will work for LF. God Bless America and LF, and Big Swede too! Also, you have a few weeks to prepare and don't forget Mother's Day!

From a woodworker, that wood is money my friend. Wish I could get my hands on that stuff!

Hey chet a trick I learn for the the hoses is old tires. We cut the down and works great
You guys are so coool.shop is awsumm.farm beautiful..
Another awesome video keep the great content coming 👍🏻🚜🇺🇸👍🏻🚜🇺🇸

Was great to hear grandpa on the phone!!😂
Clean & orderly is the way...
Btw, Zach the Millenial Farmer on 4/19 says he wishes he had a Larson wash bay!
And Nathan over at Border View Farms was "channeling" Dougo and the Martin a couple a days ago, to come clean their new equipment barn floor!

Hello Chet & The Gang, We call Brodie's Tingley rubber boot covers Galoshes here in Australia. Brand name I believe but do the same thing.
Those new Oaks are sweet Chet
Nice video 👍
Grate video
Shoe condoms lol. Great video. God Bless y'all
You should lay those boards horizontal, they dry better.
Good stuff Chet 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Very great video for the farm and shop work
One thing we used to do and worked grt is get old fire hose and put them where u have run problems and a lot of times u can go to local firehouse and get there old hoses for free just to get them out of there hair
We got a new 2230 John Deere field cultivator with the True set and it works amazing amazing
Strain relief the hose that has a 90 on it now, to the frame it is next to, to keep the stress off of the fitting when it is folded down. I would suggest using stainless steel versions of the normal ratchet lock wire tie.
Hey your washing the character off that wood.
Great video.
Watch it Chet Grandpa will eventually see the ruts in the yard
Go to your local fire department and ask if they have any old hose and you can use them to wrap your hydraulic lines it’ll help with the rubbing.
We are in a blizzard watch for central nd this weekend
Over here in North Dakota we have had a weird spring snow melted then got 13 inches of snow now the snows is almost gone and this weekend where suppose to get a bunch of snow
Give tire ject a try. You really won't be disappointed. It's a fantastic product.
If your'e going to store these implements outside over the winter months it might be sensible to make covers for all the solenoid operated valves.
Great.
And where does Winny go at days end? I always envisioned you going for supper with Eric but I guess that is done now. Soon you will be too busy to think about it. Good video. Pax.
Ya as many hoses you guys go threw you should set up a work station with tools and stock to build your own.
I was waiting for your gramps too ask about his lawn!!!
When you're a farmer its 'farmyard' with lawn by the house. When you're a semi retired farmer it all becomes "lawn".
ray 3:48 Ate some Venison Roadkill? "michigan Mile Marker"
Great content and even better editing.

If you ever run across any old fire hose works great to cover hoses.
Boy does grandpa sounds like dougo
I thought that too.
Your the best Chet hey maybe you might check out something you could do after work how about a gun club or bike gang or something
@2:40 Brodie - in NZ, we call those footwear 'galoshes'. They are hard to find in NZ stores.
@2:57 Chet - get on board with them, they save many nuisance episodes with wet boots and shoes.
I have to confess that the fuel hose mounting arrangement still has me stumped.
Glue on studs. :)
@@beckyumphrey2626 🤣🤣🤣
Most large fuel tanks are double walled . Likely self tapping bolts into the first layer .
@@lynwessel2471 Bingo! Thanks, my dim little bulb just popped on.
Nice Vid #!!!
Very good video 👍 👍 👍
Yeah I can’t wait until you guys start planting. Better get the auger wagon out of the mud an get into the washroom to get it cleaned up
You probably know already, but there is a dye you put in the A/C systems before you recharge them! That way you could see if it's a bad leak, or if you have a hose ready to blow! Nothing worse than a A/C line blowing off while your charging it!
See it’s nice and wet in Minnesota but here in Texas we haven’t had rain in about 9 months where I’m at😒
Bowling League with BS must be the movie BIG Lebowski😄😄😄😄
Do a video of the true depth cal. Please
