    Coming from germany, the fields u guys work on are making me speechless over and over again. In my area, fields of like 30 acres are allready big. Haha. Especially when u guys were moving down north the view with all the fields around, crazy :D

    Great video Mike! The lights on these new machines are incredible, compared to what I grew up with. If you get a chance to do another video where you have to use the lights, it would be great to see. Thank you.

      A LOT of Money in that line, Multi-Millions of Dollars Usually only Hutterite Colonies rival that with up to 15 Combines, Grain Carts and B-Trains.

    I done the harvest in Australia few years back we towed the headers all the time behind the combine we worked from Queensland to Victoria some days we would travel for two days as we had to be off the roads at certain time

    A custom crew i worked on that had green pea viners had a hodge-podge of good and bad machines. I was lucky and ended up in the best of the best so my life was good (until it wasn’t when some parts started self destructing and catching on fire) and some of the oldest ones couldnt really break 18mph so they’d usually end up falling back until we hit a corner. Was good though, in a good crop i’d get 5000lbs of nice peas in about 10 mins which means that there is a LOT of peas moved in a 12 hour shift. Plugged the plant once, so we had to wait a couple hours so they could process them all. Lets just say my boss who is not easily impressed was pretty impressed at our crew 😂

    Compare this to dad's 1959 JD...it's got a lot of extra whistles and bells..his harvested about 800 acres per year and the old 95 lasted 13 years...westcentral Minnesota...just outside of morris...some day I'll have to get a ride

      mike doesnt associate with natives nor is around them. he is south of swift near the usa border, almost 900kms from the inncodent and it hasnt effected him at all. us on the other hand in nothern sask have lost family members on that reserve and visit there once a week as it is less than an hour from stoon. these white privledged farmers make me sick with all there money and all white crew not only not caring about the native culture and land, but disrespecting the people as well. the day mike is friends or close with the native community. pigs will fly.

    Mike what a fleet. As far as transport set ups, yours is by far the easiest. Honestly is no effort with stapping. Just the restaurants and your off!

    In Australia we always use trailers they also carry the air compressor and spare parts and even you sleeping gear if contracting

      No problem Robert, I typically stay quite active (daily) with the lenses. Except that I just pulled a 43hr work day here and I am alittle tired, just let me grab a couple hours and I ll be back running on all 8 again 🤙😆

    Need to stock each combine with a roll of camper t.p. Has a dual purpose to be able to wipe fittings off and other things. Easily biodegradable.

    8 combines with 50ft heads on 300 to 600 acres is excessive. I would split that up if at all possible, but I don’t know all the details. Love the channel.

    Gotta love Mike nearly running his combine off the road every time because he HAS to wave to people. Have to get good at the lazy lift a few fingers off the wheel wave so that doesn't happen lol.

    You can always get one combine to hookup header and cut a big patch.. that way you dont hav to drive in the crop .

    From an Aussie hay contractor totally agree with your transportation theory. Mush easier and cheaper to drive machinery there than truck it up to about 6 hours driving time

    Try filming with a drone during the harvest so that you can film especially the field driving the X9.

    That ladder might be manual, but at least it will never break down, lol, if it was all automatic, that would be quite a few actuators, which means more parts that can break down, and we all know they will

    Fantastic video….. nice to see the herd of Deere on the move looking cool All in a line!! Just one Q. At what point would you not cut a crop….. like 1 “bushel” (don’t what that’s worth in Tons/kg) but seems pointless to harvest e.g. time, money etc 🤔🤔🤔🤔

    Mike, you should really get more cameras, placed around combine harvester perhaps. Another great idea would be the drone.
    And the greatest idea would be a LIVE stream when you work! :D Can you guys imagine it, how cool that would have been? :D

      Keep in mind, that farming is his main priority. He makes video in the meantime, when there is time and often (if not always) edits them directly on the phone he captured it with.

    I just saw that even the X9 doesn’t have a “travel mode”, where the engine slows down. Still at 1900 RPM. 10 year old Claas will go down to 1300-1400 on the road. Or maybe the X9 in Europe does have that feature? Anyways, just a thought.

    You're lucky you don't have many rumble strips going down teh center or the edge of the hwy's.... those are pain on the hub bearings. Find myself driving down middle of the road most of the time.

    be careful coming down the steps like that. thats how a friend of mine did it except he slipped broke his leg the bone come thru the leg. he had surgery got infection and wound up losing his leg

      @@marshalloutdoors1791 You can’t survive in Canada without about 5-10k Acres per person invested in your Farm. At least I don’t know any “Small Farms”, every Farm I know of has about in that range.

    You shouldn't close the red handles when in transport. Just the Red knobs/buttons. The red handles are only to lock the header when your under it for servicing. You can wreck the header transporting it incorrectly.
