He definitely does the best reviews out of all the bike magazines.
One of the honest reviewers around.
My MT-10 SP already feels insane. I can safely say that I’ll never “need” more performance out of a bike. But my goodness that v4 aura is just wonderful!
Neeves is my faviorate person to listen to he seems very humble for someone with that much riding
Neeves always does a great job walking us through. Thanks MCN👍🤘
Legend
Watched your review of when the 2010 came out! 10years later here we are again! Thanks Neevsey!
Thanks for including the sound of the bike and the extra riding shots! Vast improvement over some of the first MCN videos.
One day I'm gonna afford myself a Ducati fridge magnet.
Keep dreamin' :)
You'll have one fast fridge.
i know im asking the wrong place but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account??
I somehow forgot the password. I love any tips you can give me!
@Sylas Saint instablaster ;)
@King Eli thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
Seems to take a while so I will reply here later with my results.
Super Naked Group Test KTM Super Duke, Aprilia Tuono, MV Augusta Brutale, Yamaha MT10 SP, BMW S1000R, Ducati V4 Street Fighter! ☻
Really looking forward to that comparison!! :-D
Do MV still make the brutale? I thought they were done with that.
He basically said the Super Duke is tops for the street....
Dude what about the Z1000
z900 and street triple is a must
best review and awesome comparison everyone was quietly asking for!
Thanks Michael, great review again 👍🏼looking forward to seeing the Superduke R shootout when life gets back to normal again soon
Nice to see MCN videos are now more produced and nicer to watch
Nothing compares with british charme like "the price is a little fruity" :D
Love your reviews! I have the 1098 and have tried the V4 for a short test ride. The 1098 is more of a handfull, absolutely! Trying the V4 was really an eye-opener, I did not have to think! The bike (sort of) knew where you where heading. I still love my 1098 for the drama it brings, but the V4 is a monumental step forward.
That thing looks proper mean! Thanks for the video!
For the first time in a while, an MCN review is actually worth watching! Camera work also up to par as well. Can’t wait for this new SF to start hitting showrooms
Honestly, they could forget the lens cap on the camera and I would still watch a Neevsey review.
Awesome video, look forward to reading about it
Great review Neevesy...Good heads up on important aspects of the Streetfighter.. Will definitely give one a try in the future... Will take a lot to get me off my 2019 Aprilla Tuono Factory... stay safe...
I feel like those wings are completely for show, it's not often you'll be going 270km/h on a naked bike.lol
Exactly what i was thinking....what nutters going to be doing 167 mph on a naked lol
Timed this release pretty perfectly!
More top end power than the Aprilia, but it's up where you can't use it, becasue it's a naked bike with no wind protection...interesting. Looks awesome though, but I'm not so sad I own the Tuono. I'm a little sad that Neevesy can't afford it, he's the best reviewer around, he should be able to afford whatever bike he wants IMHO.
Yea but by that logic everyone should just get the superduke since it has the most torque across the rev range. But yeah this "right at the redline power" is kinda useless for a naked. If you want a racebike, you might as well get the real Panigale, you're not gonna be riding at 15k rpm on the street anyway
I am on a waiting list for one of these. Im glad I watched your video. It answered all of my questions and a few that I hadnt considered. This is not what I am looking for. I currently have 8 bikes that are near perfect, but the search continues for "the one".
Another great review brother, thank you
I loved my 2013 SF848! I can't wait to get another Ducati soon!
Finally!! hope this one gets a long term review.
Yeah Neeves is the only one I trust for a review of the Ducati V4s. I think maybe he's the only one that can ride it to its potential
Our dealership will be getting one in April can't wait. Great video 👍👍👍.
Awesome review Neevesy. It’d be cool to see you have this as a long termer, take it to the Nurburgring and throughout Europe (after the pandemic ends of course).
Very honest review as usual for my sounds weird that the bike fell friendly than the older model however in every aspect is beyond.. I love my single R. Keep it guys 👍
It's not a review until its MCN review. Best in the business !!
Now can I please have that jacket 😊😊😊.
That was a nice review... thanks! I agree.. a little pricey for what it is. And I'm not sure how much good those winglets are going to do on a street bike, but I guess they look cool.
No matter what exhaust I installed on my KTM, it doesn’t come anywhere close to this StreetFighter V-4S Full Akropavic Titanium Race Exhaust!!- The Ducati will destroy a KTM on track!! All good bikes but something special about this Ducati- SUPER EASY To Ride !!! No heat issues, no bucking/stuttering, the width of the bike is excellent!! Easy to squeeze!! Iam speeches over the bike!! The incredible sound it makes is worth the price!!! I now understand the V-4 Hype !!! Brutal POWER everywhere!!! It just keeps pulling!! Its a wrist breaker!! The electronics are more than anyone would ever want!! There is a reason this bike went up Pikes Peak at an astonishing pace!!! Life can be short!!! Dont miss out on experiencing this Italian Masterpiece!!! Please be safe and only ride in full gear!! No excuses!!! Go Alpinestars Tech-Air !!!
As always great review - looking forward to the comparisons with the Tuono and Super Duke.
I like how you made the video. The video is so attractive and I love it.
That was a neat camera shot transition @4:29 going from the bike mounted camera to the external vehicle camera.
Nice review mate, keep up the good work, 👍👍👍
Thanks a lot for the insight. For a comparison, the MV Agusta Brutale would be a candidate in my eyes - you didn't mention that one. In fact, the follwing bikes need to be compared: "Cruise Missile" (Kawasaki Z H2), KTM Super Duke R, Aprilia Tuono V4 1100 Factory and MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR. I hope you agree.
That’s the kind of bike you keep for a lifetime. ❤️
40 more HP than my S1000R and a bit lighter too... I'm not sure if I can imagine that level of supernaked acceleration!
Still wont beat your s1000rr as you forgot to mention something very important: aerodynamics
Jonathan Pontel s1000r*
I made mine much lighter by installing a full exhaust system.
RikkyTang! The BMW’s definitely make more power than quoted by BMW..
RikkyTang!
I have a 2019 S1000R, and it just takes my breath away in Power, you’re right, can’t imagine something more to hold onto.
But our S1000R Engine is just so proven and at least my 2019 is Bullet proof 👍
Can't wait to see a comparrison to the Tuono V4 factory. Also, really curious what BMW will do to the 2021 s1000r, will it be a sibling to the new s1000rr (double r) or not!? We'll see..
Great first on the street fighter, very interested in this bike.
@6:20 My favourite bit of the video Mick. Only wish I coulda heard it. 😀
Thanks for giving me some idea of the character of this (and the other two) TeraNakeds... or terror-nakeds. I could never afford one but it's nice to daydream about them.
I like to scare myself at least once everytime I ride my 1290 Super Duke...
Nice one Michael. Great vid
Proper good review that. 👍🏻 Want one 🙏
Great review, it looks lovely but double what I paid for a new MT10! Don't think so.
Beautiful exhaust, just wow!
Nice and short to the point video, Michael. The content is crisp and very understandable, though there is not too many imotions and awesome looking terrains that you cover. More of a technical machine defining show, which is what I prefer.
finally got to see the review for streetfighter 😍
This is going to be my first road bike!!! Can’t wait!!!
Well done! great, neutral insights! keep it up 🙌🏼💪🏼
Tuono is essentially 10 years old now with a few updates. Goes to show you Aprilia got it so so right.
Love my 2019 tuono factory, aprilia is lovely
@@Moicc I do too....it's a wonderful bike.
Good review 👍
If you want a v4 super naked I'd get a £5.5k cheaper tuono factory. I bet its almost dam just as quick as this, more comfortable, alot more money in your pocket and sounds nicer.
Same mentality here. But thank God there are people willing to get the newest and latest models so the economy will prosper. For me, nothing can beat a moderately used and modded motorcycle for a bargain price.
As always well thought out review....keeping the comparisons amongst what the peer machines would be........how is the heat piped to your manly bits compared to the previous generation V4's like?
I used to own the 899 Panigale, was an amazing bike. Due to the virus I'm poor at the moment but if things get better this will be my next bike.
This model sells for $33,900 in Australia. I really struggle to see the value in it. Ducati must use expensive plastic . By comparison a fully loaded S1000R is $23,000 here.
It's a fucking rip off! Lovely bike but Ducati are taking the piss. Coming to a coffee club near you.
Why its much more expensive in austraila compared to USA and europe
Plastic?????
@@jubin2611 shipping to Aus. Also won't sell as many here we only have 25 million people here. It sucks but can't do anything about it.
It's carbon fiber bru, what
When I saw pictures of it the first time I thought it looked amazing, now not so shore anymore
It’s headlight is absolute Z1000, no one noticed ?
Damn you Euro 5, this exhaust and its covers are horrendous
Dédé LABINOUZE yes I was thinking exactly the same. The bike looks amazing except for the bulbous, hideous monster underneath.
Does anyone actually run a stock exhaust for long?
The exhaust looks like a fucking toaster🤮. People don't keep the exhaust for long but it's not like the old days. There's a lot of crap and cash involved in changing the exhaust. Mapping etc pfffttt
You can order a Street Fighter V4S Evo factory option fitted with an beautiful Akrapovic system...!!!
Best option little more expensive is the Street Fighter V4S Evo with a factory fitted beautiful Akrapovic system...!!! 20,000 GBP isn’t cheap
Great review great bike. Most beautiful naked bike to look.
Love the underneath exhaust
Stunning bike 😍
Thanks for the review. Do you really feel the difference between the bike with electronic suspension and none electronic suspension? I like to buy the V4 but I am not sure if I should pay the extra 4K to buy the V4s
Great review! Not a fan of the new bike! I preferred the 1098 Version!
The looks are growing on me...but the Tuono just sounds so good though from stock. And you can get Tuono's from what, £13kish...I think for me it'd edge the SF with that kind of price advantage. Though if the SF numbers are kept fairly limited it'll retain the price difference and maybe more. Ahh, what do I know...I've just bought my fifth bike in 18 months (still got one bike...I haven't got 5...I'm not TMF) and hoping this one will be the one - for at least a couple of years. I like your reviews, always packed with relevant info and insight - thanks!
Thats the problem! Tuono is the best sounding naked! Ive also had a bit of a mental 18 months (3 bikes, but I only have one now... not like TMF).
Im hoping aprilia will release a new tuono though, bit more up to date style and full led... that would be my bike
Great review as always neevesy!
But it sounds bleedy boring for a supernaked.
Doesent wheelie? What the heck 😁.
Its a naked with 200horses! It should wheelie all the time.
Looking forward to the supernaked test with tuono superduke and this duc!
In the pictures he posted on twitter he did wheelie....
It does wheelie, you can bring these up in third gear with ease once you're used to it.
Awesome bike, thanks for the review. Hanging for the Streetfighter V2. Basically the same as the lower spec V4 streetfighter with less power and less drain on my bank account.
Any word on a release date?
great review, im just gonna stick to the DRZ 400 for now :)
Good job its so powerful. Look at the size of the radiator it needs to move around.
.... I remember watching MCN reviews of the original Streetfighter and thinking how crazy that bike was... This thing is wild ahahah
i own several bikes,i see a lot new bikes, but man i dont change my tuono V4 factory for all the motorcycles of the world!!!! :)
That's it, I am sold! Going out tomorrow to get one each for me and for the Mrs. Oh.... Hang on.... Sodding Corona Virus!!!! Paaahhhhhh!!!! Stay safe out there Neevesy and everyone else who is watching this video. We will get through this together👍👍👍
Been waiting for reviews on this bike. I'm interested in what BMW is going to do with the S1000r to compete in this new class of super/hyper nakeds.
And the superduke
John Nazar I’m waiting to see what Aprilias response will be. The new baby Tuono looks spot on. Big brother needs a facelift!
Going to have to wait a while I'm guessing, this damn covid stuff is really throwing a wrench into everything. Sales on everything are going to continue to tumble for a good while yet so everything non essential is going to see a big slowdown in development for bit anyways.
thanks for a great video :) but comper to H2 Z VS 1290 S ?
Definitely the most down to earth reviewer on the tube. Would I get one at 61 years young? Why the hell not! Will be interesting to see the comparo review between the other two super naked's that Michael mentioned. I wouldn't rule out the new Z-H2 at this stage as also being a contender to replace my 2007 GSX1400. Cheers mate, great review as usual.
Big upgrade from a GSX1400 as much as I like the old Suzuki it would feel like a boat anchor compared to a new super naked. Every thought about a Suzuki GSX-S1000?
@@Flip01 G'day mate, I will be taking one for a test ride tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing just how much different the new ones are! One thing I do love about the 1400 is that it is well and truly planted on the road. In saying that, it certainly requires a little more effort to get the girl to tip in!
Great review as allways! Do you think Ducati will make a Streetfighter V2 version, like they did the Panigale?
How’s the engine heat?
Will it have cruise control as a option with the heated grips ?
To match the other super naked competitors.
Hang on for dear life! Thats the way I feel riding my 1299 S in race mode ( All the time except when raining ). I'm waiting for June delivery of my V4 S street fighter. 14,000 miles in one year of riding on the 1299. Hope I will not be disappointed. Used to 190 + MPH on the Panigale !!
The bike looks good just the display screen above the headlights looks like there is something missing, I’ve been searching for pictures of the official fly screen listed on there web site but cant find a picture of it anywhere
I ride all year round, but tend to go for my big jacket and trousers. It looks like you have base layer trousers. What do you wear under your jacket and trousers to keep warm at this time of year?
I LOVE super nakeds! But a tour screen option is ideal. Is their a way to mount anything? But your right. The aprilia sounds better. Super duke is a beast everywhere. And I’ll add in my MT10. Which i love (bias). It’s hard to beat for the price. But I hope the next one gets a cc bump.
I hope your group review all 6 of the relevant BMW, Kawasaki, Aprilla, Ducati, KTM & Yamaha
Can’t wait til the showdown between the Tuono and the V4S
I'm sure he's saving his opinion for when the bikes face off.... Personally I feel like even though ktm is a wild monster, it just can't match up in overall performance when Compared to streetfighter & Tuono. So I would skip it. Bmw is a great bike but too refined for my liking (lacks character). It seems to come down to streetfighter & Tuono. Tuono is amazing especially after you tune it up but I get the feeling that this streetfighter is going to be even more AMAZING in all aspects once you tune it up. Now money is a factor Ofcourse but if you're simply picking the best bike to have..... What's it going to be??? Let's wait and find out ;)
I still love the Ducati SF V4S because of it's performance and looks. Please try to do a review on a MV Agusta Serie Oro 1000RR, that is if you can grab one, this is probably the best looking naked bike people can see.
The old streetfighter 1100S was one of the few bikes I had that scared me. Wonder how this one would compare.
As always brilliant video & review, I'm thinking about trading in my Ducati V4S Speciale for one of these, what you think?
How come you guys never test MV Agusta brutale 1000 RR or even compare it to the other super nakeds. I don't understand why people always forget about MV
figifister because it sucks.
32000 dollars is worse than harley pricing
The price range of MV exclude itself from most conversations/comparisons. It's waaaay too much.
@@pankinyek this. the V4S here is already high price , let alone the MV price
We’ve never had the chance. Have you ever seen one in the wild, outside of a bike show?
Great review, Michael. I'm curious at 8:20, S1000 R is not in the mix. Thoughts?
Is the chassis somewhat twitchy affecting the handling at high speed like the 2018 v4?
This video just made me hungrier for my delivery. OMFG, I can't wait until the virus thing is over.
So how’s the virus thing going
Needs an arrow exhaust on there pronto!
Not a fan of akra or termis?
I have new bike fever. Torn between this and the Tuono. Honestly, this looks a bit gaudy and the Tuono patented the best exhaust note ever. Either bike is faster than I will ever be.
You wouldn't include the mt10 in the comparison?
Very much looking forward to the head to head with the Aprilia and KTM...
Great review as always from him...👍
This bike is gorgeous and great but the price is just crazy....20k?
Yuppie toy
Uv ridden the SDR 3.0? Wheres the video on it?
Does it have a same v4r (2020 v4s) front frame with a cutting hole on it?
I have always wondered what would happen if the fairings of Pannigale were removed....
