If you’ve ever been holding your Nintendo Switch and thought that you could use another four or five inches of screen size, the Orion peripheral by Up-Switch might be exactly what you need. This portable HD 11.6-inch IPS monitor will dwarf even the beefy OLED model.
The Orion is listed on the Up-Switch website for a price of $299.99 USD and, while it looks primarily marketed towards beefing up your screen size for the Nintendo Switch, is also compatible with Xbox (it doesn’t specify which one), PS5, PS4, smart phones, and laptops (again, no smart phone or laptop models are specified). What’s wild is that the Orion is listed at the same price point as an actual Nintendo Switch straight from Nintendo’s website. You could literally just buy a second Nintendo Switch instead, although I guess that doesn’t fix your need for another four or five inches on your current screen.

Great review overall. I would like to add a perspective not shared in the video: That is the complete transformation of the Nintendo Switch for people who have slight visual impairment. I am 62 otherwise in good health. I could play the Switch without this but some games have writing that was just too small for me to read. This is a wonderful “game changer”. Additionally I almost never use it in docked mode because my normal use is sitting beside my wife while she is watching TV. So having it plugged in is not an issue. If I take it (for example) with me to one of her doctor appointments I have no issue using a battery pack if I can’t sit near a wall outlet. Also, I personally don’t see the weight as being a problem since I play it seated, resting on my leg, the arm of the chair or a table.

Thank you for the review. I was thinking about buying it right now at the store but this made my decision.

The main feature has not been mentioned in the review which results utterly disappointing.
This Device was made to play indoor, not outdoor. But the BEST advantage here is that Orión screen makes your Switch functions in DOCKED MODE giving you a huge gaming improvement (Tegra X1 processor gives you All Its power for games) while you display your games in 11.6"...on your hands.
And yes, even It is heavy, there is the chance to enjoy this on the Go, portably.
Without no battery attached the Weight is ok, just little bit more than a Steam deck which is acceptable.
I mean, playing switch games in Docked Mode in your hands with 11.6" , while you are laying on the bed, or sitting on your sofá...really It is something worth pursuing

The biggest point for IPS is the color accuracy.

Question: How do you turn if off?
I put my switch in and when I pressed on the power button for the orion, I though my switch was off so I opened the orion in the back took my switch out and it was still hot and on?
I thought the Orion's power button was suppose to turn off both the Orion and The Switch.
It doesn't tell you in the instructions either, which would have been helpful
    Please Help!
    Thank you

Quite simple, prees the home Button of the joycons and surfing the switch menú select power of.
If you press the power Button of the Orion screen It just affects to the orion screen itself,
Nintendo Switch must be turned off by the indicated way (Nintendo menú)

Are you using the official Nintendo charger that came with your switch?

First turn the switch on, then put It on the Orión back compartment and fit It well on the usbc Port .
      .
Then Connect the AC adapter or power Bank and turn power ok the Orión screen.
Wait 2 seconds and the switch image must be displayed perfectly and the Switch Will be working un Docked Mode giving you best of gaming improvements.
