I'll save you 5.5 minutes of your life: the switch itself does not have a "BIG Problem" the oled switch is 1mm wider which makes it incompatible with some accessories. *yawn*

I have seen the oled switches at many of stores but hopefully. I thought about buying them up but that would be messed up lol.
@@AV-bz2zv True. I opened mine. I like it, the graphics are a little more crisp, if that makes sense. The bigger advantage is if you use it as a hand held more than you would plugged in to the TV. The speakers sound better than the original switch and the bigger screen was much needed.
Speaking of timing, I love how the oled was timed well with the black and white of the PS5 and Xbox, making the design feel even more modern
A recently released interview with the general manager and deputy general manager of technology development at Nintendo revealed it's actually 3mm wider to accommodate the hinges of the new kickstand.

I just recently learned that he made a grip with Satisfye. I'm so sad 😔 that I missed that opportunity. We can only hope that he makes another one in the future. Kids and adults abousutly love watching his videos. Those are the greatest gift for the holidays and of course sharing it with him personally as well.

Have you ever thought about doing 3D printing as like a prototype then eventually find the perfect match. I feel like that would put alot of stress down trying to find that dimension. You could do all sorts of designs for like finger bumps or even rubberized grips so when your hands get sweaty you'll still have control. I love your videos ❤️
His molds probably are the infil on that grey one look like the same as a lot of my 3d printed work

Same although I quickly moved on to a skull&co because not having to slip on and off that grip every time I dock and undock it is incredible. However the actual grip on the satisfye is better.

Big brain plays here but make the switch holder/stand extendable so that it can fit multiple sizes. That would sell great!
So basically I just watched an 13 minute advertisement for the new grips with my RUclips Premium subscription.

I was hoping for it to actually be more powerful specs-wise cause I want them to fix those lityle frame drops that occur in some titles, plus some games handheld look awful, usually not nintendos titles.

I've always wanted a Staisfye grip, but never quite gone through with it (shipping rates to Canada suck).
The fact that the new version support both versions of the Switch, and it also supports your channel has me finally pulling the trigger :)

Two things that make me sad regarding the grip: Nothing for Switch Lite and shipping outside of USA is probably as much as the grip itself

I love that the new OLED colors line up so perfectly with Metroid Dread. Samus is red and blue like the one model and the Emmi is white like the other model

To save everyone time, the issue is the switch OLED is 1mm wider which means many accessories that wrap around the old switch won't work on the new one.

Even though I didn’t preorder the limited edition cause it’s not really my color, I wanna thank you for this gen 3 version, all these years was playing mostly from home, now I play more handheld it really sucks to play without a grip, but I love my new oled switch!!! ❤️
I’d love to buy one, but having no bundle option available with a case, not being able to purchase a case on its own that’s compatible is a missed opportunity. Guess I’ll be waiting for now 🤷🏼♂️

@@That_Guy_11 there is a bundle but only with the white grip. I asked customer support if they could swap in the yellow beatemups grip, and they said they could not. Unfortunately… cry. I think the yellow would go great with the blue zelda joycons. But i’d also like the case, which isn’t sold separately.

I would never have bought this grip if it weren’t for your collab. I mostly play with a pro controller and mount. Rarely do I buy “RUclipsr” stuff, but this was a no-brainer (and I’ve only been watching for a month)! Not gonna lie, the color scheme is not what I would normally go for (usually a solid black or white for this kind of thing), but I definitely want to support you! Funnily enough, you said yellow and blue because of your logo-my Joy-Con thumb grips are red and my OLED is white, so I would pretty much have all the bases covered! I think it will all come together nicely.
You made me want blue and purple Joy-Cons because I saw them on one of your Switch models in a video. Unfortunately, that configuration doesn’t exist anymore unless you buy used (something about the combo of L/R as an individual purchase being available in only one orientation… that won’t match the other). I could buy or make skins but it isn’t the same. 😩 KEEP THE VIDEOS COMING (When your mental health allows. Breaks are absolutely encouraged!).

Well, you had me at "we designed this limited edition grip" I haven't bought one yet for my switch, and now, if it's still available in November, I will buy one! I need one for mine so my hands don't hurt, I've had to have surgery on my fingers and wrists a few times, due to a work accident, and it's so hard to game with the joycons on the switch.
Yes, I want to see this go big, and I want one just because it's beatemups branded! Thank you for making this with them.

actually if you noticed, the red and blue samus outfit represet the red and blue joycon ver, whilst emmi represent the white one
I used to use the Fixture S1 grip so I could use my procon with my Switch because I like the feel of it better and it was honestly a little devastating to try and slide my OLED into the S1 and realize "no, no no no, it's too big for it????????"
I'm already giving my old Red Box Switch to my brother and his fiance since all they have is a launch edition Switch, but I'm also throwing in my S1 because not it's useless and I hate that it's been made useless. Literally my favorite and one of the only third party accessories I would use with my Switch barring the 8bitdo Pro 2

So I’ve watched your videos for a while, tried several different grips (that broke pretty easily). Watched this video a few weeks back and decided at 1 am to buy my first ever satisfye grip… your limited edition one to be exact! I love that they offer the limited edition one with a case as well and I’m pretty excited. Btw yellow is my happy color and blue is my favorite color which may or may not have had something to do with the decision. Ps can they make a BeatEmUps “limited edition” lite version too? lol
This is so exciting! I have pretty small hands so have never been bothered by using the switch as is and wasn't planning on buying a different grip - but I've seen how much you talked about this grip for ages and the fact that you have an actual limited edition version with their company means I just have to go out and buy it. Huge congrats!!

Congrats on the brand deal! I'm not a fan of yellow as a base color (I'm more of a pastel purple kind of guy), but to each their own.

Using the White Joycons on the "old Switch" wouldn't do the job to see how the new grip looks ? since the diference in size is on the console itself :D
He put the white joy cons on his oled he has had for a week. Not on a regular switch he had. Size is still there.
@@michelleoliver714 they are talking of using the new white joycons with old switch that he has and putting that in the grip to check the colours.
What he put on the video was just an example on how it would look with the white joycons. The new grip can accommodate both the old and the OLED. For some people they need to see first how it would look in order to be interested in buying. Hence all the examples of different color schemes of joycon with the grip

Honestly the way you did this video was pretty well done. Pointing out an issue with the OLED model (like the video says) is always good cause people need to know this stuff but then you following it up with a solution you created yourself was pretty magnificent and I love the design of the grip. It's even good for the original Switch that's a bit smaller too, so very impressive work. Congrats!
But it's not much of a problem. It's not even a problem. The fact that the oled is bigger isn't much of an issue because it has nothing to do with the system itself not working properly. So it's not an issue with the oled but more of an issue with you just needing new accessories. I will also disagree about the video being properly made and finding a "solution" to a "problem" there was no issue and all he did was advertise a grip that he had a hand in designing.

@@bawkslawd no thank you, I'll stick to the mumba protective cover grip. You can't dock his grip. It doesn't protect anything and the only differences between his grip and the others is his logo and the really bad color scheme.
This is besides the point I am trying to make. He baited you guys into thinking there is a legit problem with the switch only to shell out his grip for the switch. There was no problem, as of yet, with the oled switch. He just made one up to sell you his grip and that's not cool.
@@bawkslawd it's like me saying, hey guys the switch has a major problem we need to address. There is no place to store your switch games on it. I partnered with this company to make a case for the switch so you can hold extra games! You should all buy it, it comes with a teal "C" on the front as my design. This will fix the problem.
I wanted to come up with a really stupid idea like a pinwheel that attaches to the air vent that spins to let you know when it's on but I wanted to go through a logical approach to make something that is convenient but the switch can work just as well without it. Would a case that holds extra games be convenient? Yes. Will my switch not stop work if I don't have it? No.
I, just like Wood, made a big deal out of a made up problem to sell you my product.

I do have a switch case but that one before I got the oled was so hard to get it perfect even when it’s a offical licensed switch case I don’t even use it anymore
My biggest concern with the new switch is if the dock still scratches the back of it. I haven’t found any videos discussing this yet, so if anyone can fill me in on that it would be greatly appreciated!

They made the inside a smooth plastic so it shouldn’t cause any scratching.
Idk if my reply is late but i have the Oled and the dock definitely doesn't scratch anything. There's actually more than enough space at the back and front when you put the switch in that it doesn't even touch the switch itself, unless you're super reckless with it

There has also been numerous reports of screen burn ins already happening on the switch oled. I was planning on getting one but now I think I'll get the v2 instead
