The issue with the Nintendo Switch is the lack of free games, despite the fact that they already rake in great profits just from their device sales and Nintendo exclusive titles like Zelda, Mario, Pokemon and such. Like imagine spending CAD $450 plus tax and then still having to pay at least 180-200 extra bucks to get merely 2-3 truly great gaming experiences (stuff that one would want from the Switch, such as a classic Zelda or Mario title)... unlike the Steam setups, where there are so many more amazing free titles. Nintendo should really consider bringing more free to play titles (not just shooter or battle royale stuff) to the Switch, instead of constantly making their purchasable games more expensive than they already are.
Just curious, are there any free titles on PSN or Xbox Live that Nintendo doesnt have? counting free Epic or steam titles is not exactly the same comparison.
I think you found the solution to your problem: why would they go out of their way to bring solid F2P titles on their console when they're already making billions with their device + exclusives alone?
I'm surprised Guardian Tales isn't on here. It's an Adventure style platform that free 2 play and hands down one of the GREATEST games I've ever played.

It’s such a cozy and calm game ^^ but you forgot one anime game called “Hy Hero Ultra Rumble” it’s free and it’s basically like Fortnite but anime 😂 and I don’t even play Fortnite lol. and if you want to look for these games fast I suggest you put “free games” or “demos” ^^

Trove is the best game i played and i am a gamer nerd but the action the different classes to chose from a house to build i build the house (tower) of easter eggs and recreatied alot of remarkabel games and it never gets boring my sessions are like 2-4 hours and even 'just' 2 hours are realy great fun and the many different worlds and world maps you can have fun on i played it before on ps4 and then it (the ps4)trashed itself over night i had to beginn from scratch on switch but it was so much fun there's a grind that i like and i'm sure a lot of you lik it too the game has bosses an end boss a lot of variends of enemys Trove is fun at it finest and you have to watch You Tupe tutorials and guids but once you're in it it's great it starts slow gets faster and then slows down again there are mini games too so try it it's free😊

For 200 bucks you can get at least 10 exclusive titles. Or 15-20 indie games. The key is buying them used, there's a card slot for a reason.
