I love the Orzly products when it comes to Nintendo an the Switch an OLED. I had their glass screen protector on my Lite, an then when I upgraded to the OLED, it was the first thing I bought. Also had the Orzly Switch Lite bundle which has the semi-hard case, screen protector, microfiber cloths, an a surprisingly good rubber-nibbed stylus pen. All of the products were high quality, but the screen protector was the clear winner. Went on the Lite an OLED with no fuss at all, laid flat an bonded immediently, an was perfect the first time on each system. It's. So. SMOOTH! An it doesn't seem to like fingerprints nearly as much as other screen protectors. I am an ORZLY fan.
here's a tip, for the Orzly protector, if you see a bubble, do not, I repeat do not remove it & readjust it as within a few day the bubble will remove itself
To compliment the vividness setting if you do end up playing in docked mode there is a somewhat similar option for the TV. I actually don't own a TV but I have a very nice monitor for my gaming PC that I use instead. And by default it looks a bit dull. If you go to settings and set the switch to use full range of colors instead of a limited range that sorts that right out. I don't know what the consequence would be if you do that on a limited range display.
I think you actually want to use limited. Going full sometimes washes out the colours if the source isn't matched. I use limited on ps5 and it looks really good on an oled tv. Might be similar here. I think its just about matching the source tbh
I really don't see how it can wash out the colors unless the screen is not actually a full range screen. Like if you are running a 6 bit panel with dithering to compensate then sure. But both on my computer and on my switch I can say for sure that running full range is quite simply better.
I have the same issue with my pinky fingers but recently realised if you pop the kick stand out abit you slip your pinky and ring finger behind the kickstand to support the weight
Good idea! I can see that being a work around for sure, I'd definitely recommend trying a grip or even these though, super comfortable! ruclips.net/video/TK7G5EXjx24/видео.html
I recommend a 1TB memory card. Had it for years and still works great. And still to small, lol. Also, you can buy a small cloth slide on cover for the dock. It covers the part on the dock that scratches the screen. 100% scratch proof.
As I use glass screen protectors, specifically ORZLY, I'm not worried about dock scuffing, as if the screen does get a bit scuffed (not likely with the protector), there are 3 more in the box to replace. Plus the OLED dock is just a bit more forgiving.
First 5 things you must do with your Nintendo Switch OLED: 1. Pay for it 2. Take it home 3. Take out of the box 4. Power it on to check battery level 5. Configure it AND format battery properly
ZenGrip Pro Gen 3 are the new grips for the Nintendo OLED and they recently made a bundle that comes with their slim case. Grips will ship in November while the Bundle Grips ship in January.

First thing to do: pray you did not purchase one from a manufacturing group using crappy chips, aka WiiU NAND issue. I've actually been thinking of upgrading to the oled, the fan in my 2017 switch went out and it overheats when docked so I literally have to have a fan pointed at the dock to prevent it from overheating

Okaaay glad I watched this lol. Been working real hard on my animal crossing island and when I upgrade I’m giving my current one away. Would’ve been really upset lmao thank you!
Try starting the system, hold down the power button and select restart and then go back to options and try to change the resolution. If that doesn't work check your HDMI cable etc. If no luck then best contact Nintendo support
i had over 40 hours in animal crossing, which i know isnt a ton, and i sold my oled switch thinking id never get another one. here i am 3 months later with an oled switch once again and i was so sad to see that you need the previous console to be able to transfer your island over.
If you're a physical gamer like me, I don't see the need to get one, especially with the oled's 64 gb storage. And plus, if the game needs an update it will probably take less than a gigabyte. UNLESS, you're gonna get some free or third party games on switch, then it's recommended getting one.
Dude my brother had the same problem he thought his new zelda edition switch was a defect becuase it was not that bright and when he went outside it was useless unles he finds shade or cover his hand on the screen. I notice he had brightness automatic and that remind me of my iphone so save battery so when i turned it off it was very bright and can see it outside too.
u did green tint tests? seems that all switch oled have it in different levels, mine has but i would not return because there are people that returned 15 times and they all have that
I’m upgrading my 2017 switch to my OLED, and I already earased a deal logged out my my old switch and gave it away, so will I have to make a new account and everything on my new OLED?
If you've no longer got your old switch then you can sign into your new OLED and link it to your current Nintendo account. If you have Nintendo switch online you can download most of your game saves from the cloud. If you haven't got Nintendo switch online you've lost all your saves sadly
Nice video! I have a issue with mine when, I play overwatch to look around I have to move my whole Nintendo console to look around Example- when I want to look left move the console to the left ( if that makes sense)
for breath of the wild, i purchased DLC on the 1st switch (already sold) and i started master mode on 2nd switch (which playing our hasn't been inherited) Now i've transferred the data to 3rd switch, and i can only play on normal mode. Even if i overrode the save data manually via cloud save, i can't play master mode on 3rd switch Could you tell what went wrong please?
Ok so I recently got a Oled last week and I transferred my account from my original switch to my new switch. But the thing is, is that my Play Activity Hours won't update. Can you explain how I can fix it?
Redbox is the 2nd Switch, which improves battery life etc. over the v1 Switch so we call the 2017 launch Switch v1 and the v2 Switch is "redbox" then we have the OLED after that

Already done one 🤫 ruclips.net/video/Lk5McqKiAnE/видео.htmlsi=9GqrGp_QqW5ezE8J
First thing to do: pray you did not purchase one from a manufacturing group using crappy chips, aka WiiU NAND issue. Seems this happens on Switch too…mine gave the dreaded 2002-3650 error right after my warranty ran out…tooexpensive to repair, more than buying a Switch Lite and almost same new unit! Now I own a pretty Nintendo paperweight! Sucks so bad…
Do the 2017 joycons work on the oled? I don't wanna lose my skyward sword joycons
Yes they work, all Joy-Cons are the same, OLED is the same too just better screen/construction
I've actually been thinking of upgrading to the oled, the fan in my 2017 switch went out and it overheats when docked so I literally have to have a fan pointed at the dock to prevent it from overheating
OLED is amazing!
Can you download physical games or do you have to always put in the cartridge?
My switch just broke so I’m saving up for the switch oled thank you for the great video 👍
Sorry to hear yours broke! Have you tried contacting Nintendo to see if they can fix it? You'll love the OLED I'm sure!
@@128KB I have but it will take time for them to fix it so instead I would just buy a oled. And thank you for responding
@@Jasonmejia2007 If you can get it fixed then definitely do! It'll be much easier to transfer all your data that way :)
What if I bought a switch but haven’t even turned it on, in that instance can I just swap the micro sd and it’ll run normal or do I have to format it or wha @128KB
Not got a switch before? Fresh SD? Just put the SD in and turn on. If you've got another Switch follow the steps in the video
@@128KB yeah I bought one recently and I know ima fill up the 64gb asap so I rather just upgrade the storage before I start even using and I was just wondering if I would have to do the same steps as I would if I had a stacked profile
Im getting the switch oled edition white version in a couple of weeks.
You'll love it!
I upgraded every time I know probably didn’t have too but I just did I went from the original model to the red box to the smash bros edition to the let’s go pikachu edition to the oled version i love the oled tho it matches my smash bros pro controller
Awesome stuff 😎
Myy first ever Nintendo switch to own is the OLED. I have no had it for over 3 weeks and I love it! Love it!!!
It's so amazing isn't it!
Skull and co is amazing!! You have 3 different options for the grips. Theyre interchangeable
Yeah!
Can’t find your video about the best sd card to get?
Here you go ruclips.net/video/oeiwkvHeUdM/видео.html
I'm curious if this channel has any other videos about the switch
yeah, pretty much every video we do here is about the switch :)
Okaaay glad I watched this lol. Been working real hard on my animal crossing island and when I upgrade I’m giving my current one away. Would’ve been really upset lmao thank you!
You're welcome!
Hi :( Can you pls help me, my switch oled stuck at 480p TV settings and the screen quality just looks super low, how can I fix it :(?
Try starting the system, hold down the power button and select restart and then go back to options and try to change the resolution. If that doesn't work check your HDMI cable etc. If no luck then best contact Nintendo support
i had over 40 hours in animal crossing, which i know isnt a ton, and i sold my oled switch thinking id never get another one. here i am 3 months later with an oled switch once again and i was so sad to see that you need the previous console to be able to transfer your island over.
:'(
I like the switch old
Vedo bud ithis got one
Some good tips with the
Spring Braitsin😮😮
Do you need a SD card if you playing games you bought? Ones or don't download
It's good to have an sd card in general.
If you're a physical gamer like me, I don't see the need to get one, especially with the oled's 64 gb storage. And plus, if the game needs an update it will probably take less than a gigabyte. UNLESS, you're gonna get some free or third party games on switch, then it's recommended getting one.
Just got the oled version for $250 and I've never been happier
Amazing!
Dude my brother had the same problem he thought his new zelda edition switch was a defect becuase it was not that bright and when he went outside it was useless unles he finds shade or cover his hand on the screen. I notice he had brightness automatic and that remind me of my iphone so save battery so when i turned it off it was very bright and can see it outside too.
u did green tint tests? seems that all switch oled have it in different levels, mine has but i would not return because there are people that returned 15 times and they all have that
Mine doesn't seem to have an issue
@@128KB u already tested?
@@128KB you did the youtube tests? or never tested?
It’s like Christmas. Great Stuff!
Haha it is indeed!
Great tutorial thanks
Made the mistake of not getting a screen cover immediately. Scratched the OLED screen when removing it from the dock on the first day! Lesson learned
@@128KB so I just have to re download all of my games?
@@ssstephen @St3ph3nn Yeah, just sign in and open the eShop and then you can download all your games again from there :)
Nice video! I have a issue with mine when, I play overwatch to look around I have to move my whole Nintendo console to look around
Example- when I want to look left move the console to the left ( if that makes sense)
That's because gyro/motion controls are enabled in settings of the game
Cheers mate. Subscribed
6:53 i thought it is full black on the screen
Hm?
for breath of the wild,
i purchased DLC on the 1st switch (already sold) and
i started master mode on 2nd switch (which playing our hasn't been inherited)
Now i've transferred the data to 3rd switch, and i can only play on normal mode.
Even if i overrode the save data manually via cloud save, i can't play master mode on 3rd switch
Could you tell what went wrong please?
This helps so much thank you 😊
You're welcome
Ok so I recently got a Oled last week and I transferred my account from my original switch to my new switch. But the thing is, is that my Play Activity Hours won't update. Can you explain how I can fix it?
Play activity hours don't transfer sadly, they'll be started from scratch on the new OLED system
@@128KB Ahh well that sucks. Also another thing. How would it appear to my friends. Will the hours add up or just stay the same?
Should the first thing you do when you get your system is to make sure it works and put a screen protector on it.?
Absolutely
Best video ever! Love your work.
Thank you!
Get the skull & co neogrip if you in the uk. Way too expensive and hassle to get satisfye grip in the uk.
Yes!
What's a redbox switch?
Redbox is the 2nd Switch, which improves battery life etc. over the v1 Switch so we call the 2017 launch Switch v1 and the v2 Switch is "redbox" then we have the OLED after that
Switch can only read up to 100MB/s max. So it's a waste to buy A2 card rating right? Just buy A1 rating with U3 speed class?
Yeah get anything with around 100mb/s
@@128KB thank you
Thanks Actually really help me out
So glad to have helped!
There is not a single device in my home that doesn't have a screen protector lol
Same with me, even my cameras have them 🤣
Me watching hundreds of switch oled tips knowing im getting one for my birthday 😂
You're going to love it!
Brilliant! Clear, concise, helpful, and best of all…. NOT American! Yay!
Haha thank you!
I have a 400 sd card first thing I did love my new switch the screen is amazing looking for someone installing a screen protector
Nice, 400GB is a good size!
