Thanks for watching my J breathing video! If you have any questions or comments, please leave me a message. I will get back to you asap. Let me know how you get on with your J breathing practice. Love, Anja xxxx
I have watched multiple videos on this technique, and I still just don't get it. How do you " breathe down your throat"? I am seeing you exhale through your nose
I'll do another video about it. You are breathing out through the nose slowly but you're also focusing your energy down through your throat and out of your birth canal. This is a very very early video I did and it's not very good (badly edited) I'll make another one soon x

Hi honey, thanks for your question. Typically J breathing is done with the mouth closed and you breathe in and out through the nose. As you exhale with J breathing, you can make a sound with your mouth closed and visualise the letter J as your baby moves down your birth canal... If you feel better breathing out through your mouth instead, I would watch my Down Breathing video. Both J and Down Breathing are for when your baby is being born but they are very different birth breathing techniques. You may prefer one or the other! If you have any more questions please let me know xxx
I'm so sorry. I recorded this video a few years ago when I was very nervous and not good at making videos as I was new to RUclips. I will make another one this week and send you the link. Hopefully the next video will make sense x
Hum I'm confused , sorry so J breathing and down breathing aren't the same thing? Can you please clarify then your previous video down breathing/J breathing? Thank you
Hi Marie, Down Breathing and J breathing are often interchanged and antenatal practitioners teach just one technique. This is why, in my first RUclips video, I named them both in my video. The actual Down Breathing and J breathing are done very differently. So you will see in my newer videos that I have done a J Breathing video and a Down Breathing video. The techniques are different but they are both for the giving birth stage of labour. You just have to decide which you find best to use. The J breathing is slower and calmer. The Down Breathing is more purposeful on the out breath. If you have any more questions, please let me know. X

You're welcome! Thanks for your message. I was one of my first ever videos and very badly edited so that may explain why there's not many likes 😆

❤️
My dog looked at me funny when I started "Mooing" 🤣
When do you do this is it when you have the irresistible urge to push.
During contractions when your baby is coming down the birth canal and being born ❤️
