I love the Edge, but I gotta say that’s a sweet lamp
Love it too!, thanks for watching 🙂
by far best edge demonstration for techno
Thank you brother 🙂
That lamp is fire 🔥!!!!
I love it haha ☺️
Such a great demo 👌🏻, specially the "no talking" part as a lot of reviewers talks nonsense before the interesting part.
Thank you ☺️, some times is best showing the machine capabilities first and then you can decide if it's right for you.
Soo cool! I love my Edge soo much but still sometimes find myself curious as to how it sounds compared to the DFAM…. I love it though.
Also I wish there were more videos like this! Do you have more on the way? Maybe even featuring patch notes?
Yes! I will be posting more vídeos and also patches, along with the Crave wich is a great companion for the Edge 😉
Starsky Carr did a comparison video and it seemed to indicate that sonically the Edge and DFAM are VERY close. 👍
Yes, they are pretty close but the Dfam sounds a bit fatter to my ears and in real life scenarios the Edge has it's own character which is good.
I have a dfam, they sound basically exactly the same, no need to upgrade
I agree 😊
Hi and thanks for the demo! I saw a few demos and yours is pretty good. However the demos I saw show how to modulate sound, but not how to change rhythmic patterns. Could you explain it in a few words please? :)
The Edge doesn’t have built in memory for saving patches or sequences. However, you can manually record and recreate your favorite settings by adjusting the velocity and pitch knobs from the two 8-step sequencers. If you need to recall specific sounds consistently, consider using an external MIDI sequencer like the Arturia Beatstep pro, Korg SQ 1 or a DAW to store and manage your patterns 😉
Thanks a lot for your reply :)
Thank you for watching 🙂
and what do you play this for;-)
I'm playing the Edge for its groovy and hard sound, powerful bass, and gritty textures. It compliments techno styles so well and adds a cool vibe to my music 😉
@@balrojmusic almost every drumcomputer does that;-)
@@DJ-Lazy-Lodger it's a matter of taste at the end of the day 😉
Cloning products that are still in production: bad karma
So ridiculous 😂
The edge is not a full clone, it's has differences and it's own character, Dfam has more depth and it's fatter.
