Behringer if you're reading this, please release the BX700 FM synth! You teased us with an incredible looking prototype and we've been dying for a new FM synth especially one that has full functionality! You guys are the best, keep um coming, thanks for the amazing gear! Enjoying my TD-3 MO!
I own a DFAM which I've really struggled to warm up to. I know other people are able to create amazing stuff with it, which is why I bought it. I have to say, at first glance, the layout of this machine seems so much better, logical, and the pitch and velocity knobs aren't ridiculously small, and, IT COMES WITH MIDI. Bravo on this machine
Yeah, it's so much better than DFAM. Moog oscillators are quite unstable, even Boog takes like 20 min to warm up, I ended up not switching it off at all 😅
Anyone know where to find one of these?? Every single retailer I look at doens't carry it right now and I can't even find ONE on Reverb used? What gives, anyone know??
THANKS Behringer for all of your great products. Now Behringer needs to start Creating Rackmount Units, like reverb, delay, equalizers, compressors, gates, digital and analog synths with all instrument sounds including drums etc... We need all of that to be created asap because people are starting to go back to an All Analog Studio Setup.. Peace Fam.. K.N. 2023
I have yet to own a behringer product but i love my DFAM and was about to buy a second one... everything but the color here sounds just as impressive... If colour was sound... But $400 less for a hobbyist i might have to pick one up and just paint it...
@@aarondiver4693 I don't get that. Some folk don't have the cash to burn on top-end gear. Why shouldn't they consider buying synths that are within their budget? If you know what you are doing you can get something good out of most kit regardless of price
And the neutron patch together with model D..? Have you tried It..? The Model D is the only Behringer synth with some modular connections.. like in and out of every LFO waves.. input modulation and the exit of the 3 OSC together. In and out of envelopes and input filter that you connecr to overdrive out of the neutron. And I leave space to your fantasy..⭐
Lovely, just lovely. Literally five minutes ago I ordered a few Raspberry Pis together with ADC, Audio DACs, MIDI interfaces and stuff and decided to build my own stuff, merely out of desperation. And now you state that the Edge is finally becoming available. Talk about timing...
I have been doing some calculations and I think if you moved the patch points to the right or left sides of the main controls, then you could make this fit into 3U and therefore also mount in any standard eurorack case. I'd definitely be interested in that version. Cheers

What a cool piece of kit. Imagine how much more enjoyable the Behringer TD-3 would be with this many knobs on it to easily dial in groovey patterns on the fly. That would make it so much better to program and fun to play.
This sounds powerful! I’m still waiting for a SB 1200! Or some other oldschool sampler. Or a keyboardsampler like an asr10. Sample all the behringer synths into it.

Great new product! Nice one... Besides, please enable 'CC' Closed Captions (Subtitles) for all of your Behringer RUclips videos! As this video, CC option is greyed (masked) out!!
I'm so ready for this I have been keeping an eye out for this for years I sold my dfam because the lack of midi just made it a chore to integrate I had a midi to CV device but I thought Moog were taking liberties by not having midi any way I missed it a lot and then this was announced and it was the improvement this device needs
You had a Dfam for a couple hunnies but no other Gear that can send CV? It's just 2 patchpoints and you can sync it without a problem and even play chromaticly, I do it all the time with my analog four
@@darkpolution468 DINsync ≠ MIDI→CV And it *definitely* isn't a substitute for the CC/PC#'s available to a semi-modular with true MIDI I/O. DIN Sync is a distinct (...DINstynct?) type of analog timing+transport message; it isn't even related to digital MIDI itself; it just also uses DIN-type connectors. But fully-featured MIDI→CV Converters can translate & output a massive amount of MIDI message-types in comparison to split DINsync: Like converting USB & DIN-MIDI messages into 3+ types of clocking/synchro signals (e.g. DINsync & Sync24/MIDI timing/Analog CV timing), *PLUS*-- · turning digital MIDI into analog Note/Gate & Trigger pulses, including Moog's own S-Trig format · CV Pitch control (1V/Oct or precise Hz/mHz freq's which can also be used for MIDI→LFO control) · even stuff like multi-channel MIDI comms, MIDI polyphony w/ Aux sends, Velocity, Modulation & Expression messages (pitchbend+modwheel, aftertouch, MPE, etc.), even friggin' dynamic LFO control! And this is just BARELY scratching the surface of how much control & freedom you can add to your analog and hybrid gear by using the vast MIDI economy... Nor does it go into the possibilities when going _outbound from your Modular, back into digital MIDI via CV→MIDI Converters!_
Love mine , this whole range is the best think Behringer have done imo . But you would be buying this primarily for the low percussive sounds yeah as plenty of other synths can do the higher other stuff ?? 😊
Thanks for the cool video BUT....... DUDE!!!! Where did you get this 3.5mm mono Y splitter? 5:07 I can't find one anywhere!!! And....what is the actual name of this cable please?
Hey man, Patrick here (the dude who makes the Behringer videos). I didn't buy the cable, I made it. It's easy to do, I just cut 3 patch cables in half, then solder 2 ends to 1 end (repeat twice for 2 Y-cables). Then just used shrinkwrap to cover the solder joints, of course applying it to the cables before soldering, then put in place after solder and put a lighter on it and it shrinks around the cable solder joint. DIY is always the best bang for the buck ;)
@@PatchDog I'm impressed !!!! I'm not very handy with solder. You should start selling these!!!! I actually couldn't find any anywhere.
