Great truck! I just bought my Brother's 08 1500 and he put the cold air intake on it just like you. It sounds fantastic. One thing you should think about is doing a 'Diablo' tuner on this fine truck. The performance difference is VERY noticeable. I love my 2008 5.7 Hemi 1500 and I can tell you love your truck. They are just perfect. I live on the Gulf Coast but if somebody said I had to be in Alaska in 48 hrs., I would jump in my Ram, turn the key, and be there on time without any problems.

Chemical Guys have a product to restore the factory black trim. I was highly impressed with it, used it on my 07 G6 Convertible. Just bout my 08 Ram with the same exact color.
That truck looks awesome I have an 08 ram 1500 regular cab Its gold colored and has chrome everything. Do you think it would look better to change all the chrome to black? The chrome parts are the handles, grill, mirrors, etc.
I didn't keep it on that long, but only because i did a half-assed job when spraying it on the first time. It was peeling after a while. +EverythingSamsungPro I think I saw a video on someone doing it, but I think he said depending on which type of dash you have it can either be a plug and play install or a complete pain in the butt. I personally like the look of a stock radio in a vehicle so I probably won't add a head unit, but search around on some Ram forums and I'm sure you'll find something.
Great truck! I also have a 2008 and have been modifying the shit out of it. I installed a Pioneer AVH 4100 in mine. It took an afternoon due to some of the modifications you need to do to the dash, but it's not too bad. I love the way it came out. There are couple of videos out there.
I have an 08 ram hemi 2500 that has a big touch screen radio. I didn't install but would have if it didn't have one. The radio has an option to put back up sensors and a reverse camera too
