- I bought a Maserati for less than you can buy any new car in America... what could go wrong, right? Well it smells like gas, the wheel wells were full of grass and mud, and I can't open my own door. We're going to get it sorted out and try not to spend thousands of dollars in the process.

Ray Ban customer service is awesome. I broke a pair taking a gnarly spill on my mountain bike, and they replaced them no questions asked. They weren’t quite as much as yours, but could be worth a shot.

I fell off the scaffolding at work from the third level 12 years ago, aimed for a huge lilac tree, bush and ended up in the trauma center for two days. When I hit the ground my right elbow hit the ground and I had no clue it was broke till the next morning when I mentioned to the the nurse it was hurting. They rolled me in for a X ray and guy came out and said yup you broke it.
I don't remember most of the fall or the ambulance ride but I was told I kept saying it's only a flesh wound.
I thought my carpal tunnel had come back from hitting the arm.
It didn't hurt bad unless I twisted it wrong, but I've had kidney stones too so pain doesn't phase me till it's really bad. Definitely get a X ray or better yet a MRI.
I got one 4 months later and the radial head and the ulna had a bunch of cracks and the radial head was in about 3 pieces.
Doc said it's a non fusion break and as long as I can use the arm leave it be. To this day it still crunches when I move it.

Actual studies have proven the more you pay for sunglasses, the greater the odds of them getting lost, stolen or broken. Then again, think of the money you saved not having to buy a helmet, pads or gloves.
If you used a credit card with accidental insurance, they should cover the cost of a new pair of Ray-Bans. Sorry about the road rash! Owie...

I had a car thst was stinking of fuel. I drained the tank and used a fogger. There was a pinhole in the return line. Might work on the 'rati
That's a good idea! I might try that on my old Jag. No replacement fuel tank was available, or available at a reasonable price and I adapted a plastic fuel tank for a Mazda 3. Works perfectly, but there is a small but noticeable fuel smell that I'd like to get rid!
Ouch! Get well soon, JR. And please, don't hesitate to go see a doctor and at least get some xrays/MRI on the arm. If there is internal injury you don't want to let that heal incorrectly. IT'll cause you 10x the pain a few years from now.

Well this is the reason why your parents wanted you to have great helmets and pads for this exact reason. I got an ebike that goes 35mph even 20mph is no joke when you fall we are fragile. 😢 Hope you get better John

Clean the surfaces with alcohol first and the Velcro adhesive has its best chance.

3:10 The female part of the hinge can be sqeezed to tighten the drag on the visor to hold it up. Sometimes it will make them creak when pulling them down, but that is better than being hit in the head on every bump.

SUGGESTION. JR, Check the fuel pump flanges for cracks or the fuel hose from the fuel trap. If so replace the flanges. Also, check both pumps for leaks. Fuel can drip down underneath the tank, thus u never totally get rid of the smell until the leaks are fixed and the leaked fuel cleaned up.

I had the same sunvisor issue in the $1500 2010 Accord I picked up recently. Surprisingly, a new one was only $30 on Amazon. Same color, labels, feel, and lighted mirror as the original. Sadly I doubt there's a factory in China churning out Ferrari... I mean Maserati visors for cheap.
This is oddly one of my dream cars. I am hoping I can get one in a few years. Can't wait for you to get it fixed up 🎉

Around 13 years ago I broke my ankle really bad using a similar board. It was a mountain board with big wheels and you would strap yourself in. All was fine until my friend brought out a ramp. He jumped the ramp with no problem. I on the other hand crashed and put out a foot to support myself and my foot ended up sideways and broken on both sides. One of the stupidest things I've ever done.

Sounds like rotator cuff injury. My wife had similar limitations on the range of motion of her right arm and it turned out to be caused by a small tear in her rotator cuff. See an ortho!
As someone whom have had both shoulders rebuilt, get it checked out asap…don’t wait!

Holeee! !!! that looks like it hurt...I was riding a skateboard down a super steep hill that goes between two townships...East Coventry and North Coventry and there is a bump where East Coventry paved their road and when I hit that I went flying through the air and it has been almost 30 years since then and I still have scars....lol

Hey, at least get an x-ray to make sure you didn't break your elbow. I feel and my elbow swelled up and x-ray showed that I had broken it. Was sore for 6 weeks, but great now and that was over 6 1/2 years ago! Take care and I love your videos! Hope you have a great one 👍

Dude if you have restricted movement you should really get checked out - if you leave it and there is damage, they cant do sh!t once it heals wrong. Ask me how i know XD

I wrecked riding a Boosted Stealth about 3 years ago. I wasn't wearing a helmut and fractured my skull. I've never ridden it since. I would highly recommend wearing a helmet. And it would give you something to mount a camera to. Might check out your should and see if you have a AC seperation too. Pretty common injury when falling off a board or bike.

Noooo velcro. You cut into the visor at the hinge, add a tiny hose clamp and a portion of metal tube. Cinch the hose clamp tight enough on the metal tube to add friction. Super glue it back together and your visor works again for less than 2 bucks and zero hideous velcro.

Hey man. You might have a broken collar bone. I crashed like that and it was really hard/painful to take my shirt off and it didn’t get better after a couple of days, pain wise. Went and got an X-ray and it was so broken I needed surgery to put it back together
So JR, was the eclipse worth the trip? Was it everything you hoped and dreamed of? It was one of the coolest things I ever got to witness. It is something I will never forget. Luckily, I only had to travel out to my driveway to see it!

Come on JR, there are better ways to fix a drooping sunvisor. A rubber grommet or something on the hinge would probably have worked just the same and doesn’t risk damaging the headliner. But yeah, these sunvisors are expensive.
