Any time! Hope to see you in another video comment section!
Thanks for your videos brotha. Definitely came in clutch more than a few times.

Bad ass video. Cheers
That was helpful thanks
Any time!
Very helpful video
Glad it was helpful!
Love the video bro I see kenworth makes it fairly easy to do this freightliner should take notes. The ground bar, the pre-made holes with the seals in them already to run wires through the firewall, spare switches that was really smart on there behalf now if only they would of pre-wired it to a central point on the outside of the truck that goes to spare 1 or 2 that would of been even better but still great none the less. Maybe I need to start looking into Kw lol
Thanks man i appreciate it!!
Good video bro..
Thanks!!
Excellent! Thank you for showing where there's a solid ground bar. Have you by chance found on the t680 were a solid 12v lead is coming in to the main panel. I'm looking to run an 8 guage power/ground up to a high powered cb. But not wanting to go all the way to the batteries. Thanks again for that video! Now I know where I'll switch the external fan for the cb. 👍👍
What radio are you running driver? I've never really cared to learn about cb stuff until recently. Bought myself a Stryker 655 and a wilson 2000 antenna and replaced the coax last night. Getting a high swr warning so I did something wrong and can't transmit lol
As for the 12v line I'm not entirely sure off the top of my head but I can look into it. If you're wanting dedicated power I'd probably just embrace the suck and run it to the battery with an inline fuse or a breaker to protect it from power surges.
May just do that and run directly off the batteries with the 8 guage and Anderson connectors.
As for the radio, its a Ranger RCI 99n4 dead keys 25 -125 watt and modulates 600 watt pep.
Running 1" copper ground strip from a single Stryker antenna with all new coax as well.
Try grounding your antenna mount to the frame of the truck. I'm at .5-.75 swr's just doing that with the small radio.
@Joey F yea I figured it's a grounding issue. My elbow connection on the antenna mount is old and semi corroded as well. Will be stopping at the next cb shop I can find for a new one and some grounding straps and potentially a different antenna. In your opinion, do you think a Stryker antenna is better than a wilson 2000?
Nice video... im.for sure gonna use that. What's the name and type of mount you have there for your phone
Pretty sure it's just one of the motorized charging mounts from a loves that I just pop it into.
Now what if you don’t have that female connector built in where would you connect the wiring I tried to find it online but your the only good video I can find on this
Do you have a spare switch that just doesnt have the female connector? You could also buy a switch and just wire it up for the aux lights and a ground if you want
Yes the switch literally has all the same colored wires and everything just no female connector
You’re awesome. I’m just buy Peterbilt i have 4 spares now i will install by self chicken lights. But give more details how to wiring the lights
What other type of details do you need
Fuckin comedy aswell as cery informative 🤣🙏🏽 quality production
Thanks for that!! I plan on doing a bit more funny shit to not make it so dry and boring. I've been doing them to be informative but might as well just be myself lol
Lol awesome bro
Thanks for watching bud
👍🏽
Thanks
No problem!!
So I did exactly what you did and my light bar is not working. The only difference I saw from what you said is that the hot wire behind the spare switch, which has a female plug already to go, is yellow not white. It also has a tag labeling it "power ". So I crimped a red 16 gauge to a male plug, inserted it and ran the wire down through the dash to the kick plate area, ran the black and red through the premade hole, to the lights. The black goes from ground bar directly to the light. Am i missing something? Should there be a ground going to the switch as well. Confused in my 2017 Kenny T680. Please help.
Go message me on tiktok. Just another otr guy there as well. My wire is yellow too i believe and i just spliced into the ground wire to the switch instead if the kick plate grounding bar.
So my spare switches are dead no power is there maybe some place I need to install a fuse or something
Check your fuses under the steering wheel. Sometimes they are blown. They should be pre wired and ready to roll
@@justanotherotrguy yep found it quick with the power probe
@jeremyhanna3852 good deal!!!
@justanotherotrguy I love the circuit checker function u clip the dongle on the wire that should be hot and run the probe about 1/2 " in front of the fuse panel and it beeps when u get close to the fuse location uses fm signal of some sort
@jeremyhanna3852 what brand do you have? Im in the stone ages with my grounded test light.. its really damn hard to find a ground inside a plastic truck when working on wiring inside!
So a J B HUnt driver want to connect chicken lights.
You're a jb hunt driver? I'm not sure what you're getting at
@@justanotherotrguy I work for Ralph walker.
You have no idea just how many Pajama Pants and Flip Flop wearing Wheel Holders you confused, because of the Third pedal.
That's how I roll man lol
Copy that driver .
