@willdorten6867 id say that it would be as simple as snipping off the old plug and connecting it to the new wiring. But you have to be very careful and youd need to make sure the same connections are in the same place for each pin. I dont think it would damage anything if youbdid it wrong, but the truck would let you know fairly quickly that there was an issue. I appreciate the kind words too. Ive absolutely earned the blood, sweat and tears title and it is a very hard won title. I honestly wouldnt recommend it right now either. I go above and beyond to not let other people touch this truck, but im one of the very few that do what i do. I cant recall the last time i saw someone working on their truck in a parking lot, yet i do it every weekend lol i had my entire hot side of the motor disassembled in illinois last weekend changing my exhaust manifold gaskets lmao

@@justanotherotrguy The top shot makes it look like 1 mm. My tread is 1/2, 2/32 (1/16) deeper than you say yours is, and is dusty as I live down a dirt road and park in a dirt driveway, and it looks dramatically deeper.

@ninesixworm yep. Heard the old hissy wissy from it every now and then after i shut the truck down so i just grabbed a new one when i was at kenworth. It made it almost a million miles, so the old one gets a burial with full honors. It has served its leader valiantly

@BadEye3621 its very simple. Positive to positive and neg to neg. The way i did it, itll either work or it wont. If it doesnt work, swap the connections and youre all set

@BadEye3621 just twist them together before you do permanent connections to make sure youve got it set correctly

@truckercarlson9081 ive gotta do mine AGAIN!! I think my actuators needed to be calibrated last time bc it stripped the new one in like 6 months

@justanotherotrguy oh man that's a bummer! Wish they had a blend door with metal teeth because the actuator is easy to get to and change unlike the door.

@truckercarlson9081 its obviously for the cheap aspect of manufacturing. If i was good at metal casting, id honestly make some sort of adapter for it

@andresdrh16 ive heard varying opinions, but the main one is typically theyre good for being within a couple hundred pounds. I havent hauled anything heavy at all and you need to scale it heavy and empty to calibrate them. Ill do it soon though
