Man this pb weld got all my bolts locked in. Thanks for the idea
Great job especially on a road call!
@@marcorecchia6447 i appreciate it!!
Fixing to do mine on a 2019 mx T-680. Gonna do it exactly as you did yours. Horton Reman at San Antonio KW was almost $1600 w 580 core charge bringing it to $914. Yours is same midroof as mine. Wish me luck. Heavy part!
@semitrucker it is definitely heavy!! Make sure you pull the radiator forward enough or it makes it even more difficult. Leave those bottom retaining bolts in so you can just slide the new one on and dont have to try and hold it up with one hand while you put the bolts back in
Good video brother keep trucking!
Thanks for watching and commenting on it!
Just became another subscriber. Why have a dad when you have RUclips 😂👍. Awesome brother.
Its the youtube university!!
I’m in the process of getting this done now
Hopefully it got done!
Good job brother. Hey, what was the torque specifications for the mount to the block?
@@L0GAN389 i put mine to at least 45ft lbs
ya I have to do my fan hub aswell and ya $1700.00 plus the core charge for my 2015 kenworth t800 tri drive truck
@davephawke8944 yep, theyre way too expensive. This will be the 3rd one ive bought in a year. The one i swapped in this video was the wrong part number, where the fan basically always runs. I bought another 3 months ago and it died 2 days ago. I out the old, incorrect one back in to keep moving and now kenworth says i have to buy ANOTHER one to initiate the warranty claim. Ridiculous
hey did you happen to check the plug connector for the a/c compressor pressure sensor line mine was faulty
@@davephawke8944 i did not!
You happen to remember the part number. I’ve talked to different shops and the all have different ones.
@joseesquivel9666 youre telling me! They gave me the wrong part number clutch in this video and now im dealing with the fallout. The one i installed here is a 2 stage fan, which means the fan is always running essentially. I tried replacing it and KW is giving me trouble about it and made me buy a whole other one instead of replacing it. The one i bought after this video died this week and now theyre telling me that i have to buy ANOTHER one to initiate a warranty claim. 3 clutches in a year is not right kw, just fucking replace it!
@@justanotherotrguy sorry to hear that. I’ve talked to everyone and they mommas and nothing matches
@@joseesquivel9666 let me get you the correct part for mine.
@joseesquivel9666 the correct one for my truck is 79A9592RMAN. Obviously thats the reman part and im seriously considering getting new this time after the reman burnt out in 3 months
@@justanotherotrguy thank you sir. I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just gonna have to buy everything separately. Supposedly around here in west tx area they don’t sell whole assembly
Whwre did you get that kit full of unions?
I buy them a few at a time. Amazon is best bc theyre the cheapest and they sell big kits of them. But i also grab a few of all different types and sizes every time i go to kenworth. Air line issues are so easy to fix but youre totally screwed if you dont have any on you!
Can I do it my self too
As long as you have a few tools, you absolutely can
