how hard would it be to to wire one of those? if you accidently ordered/purchased the kind without the plug attached? i recently started working at a parts store and i'm going to just ask all the questions possibly to be answered to mechanics willing to preach to me. I may not remember it all, but just out of curiosity. i'd like to know shit, and how to do shit. also, very good perk to have for a truck driver man. someone who can fix it (like yourself, hats off to you). had an instructor at the trucking school i went to like that. guy could drive insanely well also.
@willdorten6867 id say that it would be as simple as snipping off the old plug and connecting it to the new wiring. But you have to be very careful and youd need to make sure the same connections are in the same place for each pin. I dont think it would damage anything if youbdid it wrong, but the truck would let you know fairly quickly that there was an issue. I appreciate the kind words too. Ive absolutely earned the blood, sweat and tears title and it is a very hard won title. I honestly wouldnt recommend it right now either. I go above and beyond to not let other people touch this truck, but im one of the very few that do what i do. I cant recall the last time i saw someone working on their truck in a parking lot, yet i do it every weekend lol i had my entire hot side of the motor disassembled in illinois last weekend changing my exhaust manifold gaskets lmao
