Pretty pumped that Steve is getting into RUclips. We get to see what he is working on in between the Motor trend show. Hopefully we can get some Roadkill garage behind the scenes content.
Hey Steve you should’ve been doing this years ago telling people how to do stuff in a simple way no cost lotta money I love it two thumbs up Rick from Michigan
Excellent Video Steve, I'm modifying 2 oil pans using your method. Please consider making more of these videos, especially since MotorTrend decided to "eliminate" all the great shows that you and many others have done over the past 13-years.
Hope you do more videos, It’s a breath of fresh air to see a regular adult doing cool things with stuff I like... no kid bs no crazy ridiculous expensive stupidness... Thank you Mr Steve!
I like this baffle setup for braking and hard acceleration. Nice 👍 job Dulcich. The moment I found your channel I automatically subscribed. I’ve been waiting for you to start a RUclips channel thanks Steve. 🏁🏁
Steve , hello from Illinois can't wait for more vids ! I had 70 dart late eighties , during the ( plandamic ) I purchased a 68 dart with 340 , 727, 3:91 sure grip ! I'm having a blast with it so far ! Whenever I see your darts and dusters I got inspired and bought car from Oklahoma very little rust ! Mopar or no car ! 👍
Instant sub! That series of four articles you did for Hot Rod magazine entitled Cylinder Heads for Mopar BBs blew me away. I still refer to it. Thought I'd take the time to thank you for your forensic examination of those iron OEM heads. Subscribing is the least I can do. Cheers!
Big fan of these videos Steve. Just getting back into muscle cars the past few years after about 20 years and I really enjoy the tips and tricks. Keep up the good work.
Been enjoying you for years going back to your print articles in various magazines. Refuse to pay to MT channel now that they have gone greedy, will support you on your new RUclips channel.
Youre the man Steve! I love the video. Working on a slant 6 for a road race application at the moment and this is just the video i was looking for! Thanks for the video and I cant wait for more!
VPN or purchase a subscription for Motortrend and watch on the app? I am in Canada and I got rid of cable 10 years ago and have 4 streaming services that we pay for. Motortrend is about $5 Canadian a month
@@geoffmooregm thanks for the ideas unfortunately I have tried. I used to be able to watch it with a VPN.When the app was updated motor trend only accepts payment from a US credit card and asks for a residential US address.
That’s how an instructional video should be!!! Short, to the point, and I didn’t have to listen to 30 minutes of nonsense to learn something. Excellent dulcich!!
This is great! I'm always checking MTOD for Roadkill Garage because Steve is the best... now this! Also please tell Freiburger that the people deserve to see the Clevo commando more!
I have seen dyno tests with windage trays, such as you have, that show 10 horse power gains/freeing through the RPM range. Keeping the oil available only makes sense.
Neat job. Got any ideas on how to use the magnum 1 piece pan gasket on an LA engine? The only thing keeping you from using that type pan gasket is the little raised rib on the curved ends of the pan. On an 88 class B camper I have with a 360 LA I went to the salvage & found a van pan from a 5.9 magnum. It was identical to the 88 LA pan except for those little ribs. Can't do that with the pan for an A or B body though. Reason for asking: planning on putting a 360 in my 75 Duster. I have the correct pan for the A body but fitting the 1 piece gasket??
Steve I am also getting ready to build / modify a 1978 360 block for my 2 door 65 dart with racing 998 automatic and 8-3/4 3:55 gears . Any help would be appreciated since I cant seem to get people to help me out building a performance 360 block . been watching you for years on youtube ,Instagram and when I bought all my old stacks of mopar muscle magazines . this video will definitely help since I have the same oil pan and a factory windage tray . should I ditch the fatory for a milodon? I'm jeramiah by the way ✌

Super helpful, thanks Steve! My 68 Satellite loses oil pressure on launch and braking, so I'll be looking to do exactly this to it soon.
Nice tech info. Building a 390 FE for my 66 F100 4x4, going to put a baffle set in the pan.

So simple. Yet so effective. Thanks Dulcich!
Epic! Steve is on RUclips! Been reading your tech articles since the 90's.
I've been using similar pan mods for 40 years and believe they work great.
I needed to do this on my old C10 back in the day, used to loose oil pressure when cramming on the brakes.
Wow, this was a great video. Great instructions too.

Direct Connection had ideas like this in the '70s. Now we can actually see it being done.
Great video Steve keep them coming
That’s a very clever way to substitute a vice, 2 pieces of angle iron, and vise grips for a bending brake👍.
