- In this video, Rudy goes over the basic process of removing the front bumper on a 10th Gen Honda Civic Si. This a pretty common procedure for those who are installing a mesh grill, oil cooler kit, intercooler upgrade or a cold air intake, to name a few mods.

Great video....just a question why are some videos show headlamp eyebrow trim still attached to bumper? I am wanting to just remove the headlamp trim so is this possible?

I have a 2019 civic sport and the fog light lens is cracked. Do I need to remove the entire bumper to replace the fog light assembly? There isn't a video on RUclips replacing the entire assembly that I can find. Thx

whats that tool you used on to release the bumper from the clips under the headlights? i hit a raccoon a few days ago, and the clips came lose from under the left headlight and on top of the side marker. and clips from the bottom of the bumper as well.. idk if i should remove the bumper completely and put it back on or just try and fix the clips while the bumper is still intact
The tool we used is a simple plastic non marring pry tool. These can be found at most auto parts or hardware stores. If the bumper is misaligned, it may be best to completely remove it, or atleast that side, to ensure it can be realigned.
will remove the undershield provide you access to changing the fog lights bulbs?
It is best to refer to the owners manual for guidance on removing the bulbs. However, it is possible to do it this way as well.
From here I can replace the fog lamps correct?

Would the Type R front bumper and fenders fit on a regular hatchback sport?
I apologize, this is not something we have tested and cannot guarantee will work.
I’ve seen people fit it on Si’s but idk about Hatchbacks

We don't have a video showing how to remove the interior metal crash beam. You should really leave it in place.

Thank you. Unfortunately, the reinforcement crash beam is damaged and I need to replace it. It doesn’t look to complicated. I’ve done several other things and think I can do it.

Never found a video. However, I did complete the job myself. Replaced the bumper reinforcement, passenger side headlight, front grille including emblem, ambient temp sensor and many clips, bolts & screws. She is good to go! It worked out pretty well. Not perfect, but feel much safer & secure than before.
The touring level of the civic has an anti collision sensor in the left fog light panel. Im wondering if the location of the sensor could be changed to where the honda emblem is on the front?

Unfortunately, we have never tried this and as such, cannot confirm it.

Hey i have a honda civic hatchback2017 i think its a HB would a honda civic si 2017 front end fit my car anyone please help??
They are the same front end (minus the Si Logo in the grille) why do you want to put an Si front end on your car? If your car has a chrome grille and not black then you don't have the hatchback, you have a sedan....All 10th gen Hatchbacks have the same black front grille as the Si's minus the Si red badge on the driver's side...
Did you disconnect the battery first?
We did not. Since the only disconnected the bulb plugs, disconnecting the battery is not necessary.
Will my 09 tpms sensors work on my 2012 Civic? Doing a wheel swap so I’m wondering
+Omar Zz Unfortunately, we cannot answer this. Since we do not sell or work with TPMS sensors, we have no data on them. Sorry about that.
no front sensor cables? parking sensors, etc?
The si model we worked on, did not have additional sensor. Some other trim levels may have sensors to keep an eye on as you remove the bumper.

Worst honda bumper design on any honda model ive ever worked on. What a nightmare. This car looks new and came apart really easily, in 5 years those clips wont come out without cutting them, none of the clips will come out without breaking, the eyebrows will break in half getting them off..... I no longer recommend honda.
