I have a question. Hopefully you can help. I tried to watch the video but I wasn’t able to see the retaining tabs that the front bumper has to the headlight? Mine broke and now my bumper pops out a little so I want to fix that. Any idea how it looks or how can I get to it? I figured I would ask before taking my whole bumper apart
I used OEM lenses and it's been fine for me. Maybe check to see if your leaking from the bulb gasket. Some aftermarket lenses are also not sealed 100% so be careful.
Jessica Domingue , I dont understand your question fully. There are many connectors and I couldn't tell you where most are just the ones that I have dealt with on the front bumper removal. The only wires I had to unplug were the fog lights, that's it...sorry. Sounds like your mechanic needs to fix their mistake or have a certified Honda mechanic look at it.
Ty The Camper, yes it did have the ACC and there was nothing attached to the bumper. I think the system uses the camera that is mounted behind the rearview mirror as well as Lane Keep Assit?
Totally time from start to finish was about 1hr 30 min. If I had to do it again I think I can do it it probably 45 min or less since I'm already familiar with it.
Is there a way to remove replace the passenger-side fog light on this vehicle (2017-2018 Civic Sport hatchback) without taking off the bumper? Can the fog light covers be removed from the outside?
I got them from here www.carparts.com/details/Honda/Civic/Replacement/Fog_Light/2017/SET-REPH107707.html?TID=gglpla&origin=pla&gclid=Cj0KCQjwzIzWBRDnARIsAAkc8hEfdQGN_BGAUdtamaK1I4Q4Q0P6RhYeKfd5PmzmdtQRu4srzMHOEYwaAiDnEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Very nice detail. Thank you!
Perfect video this happen to me today just waiting for my part to come in the mail wish me luck
Glad I was able to help you out! It's very easy to do, just take your time and think it through...good luck!
Did you need to jack the front end to access the bottom bolts and pins? Other vids I've seen say that needs to be done.
love to see installation work...
If I need to do it again I will add another video for sure.

Hi, unfortunately you need to remove that part of the bumper to get to those tabs that fit into the headlights.
What leds did you use? Ive gone through 2 pairs and they keep building condensation in my foglights

Hi do you know where the connectors /wires go on this car my mechanic messed up the electrical and now a lot of lights are on

Did this civic have the adaptive cruise control equipped? If so is it in the bumper as well, or is it mounted on the vehicle?
Ty The Camper, yes it did have the ACC and there was nothing attached to the bumper. I think the system uses the camera that is mounted behind the rearview mirror as well as Lane Keep Assit?
hi there,
Do you know if the front bumper is made out of plastic or sheet metal by any chance?
thanks
Martin Johnson, the front bumper cover is made of plastic.
hi there!!,
how much time did you spend to remove this bumper cover?
thanks

Not that I'm aware of. I would love to know if there is a way though.
I replaced my bulbs without removing the bumper, just kinda harder to squeeze through stuff
Was there a need to disconnect the radar? Or is that module attached to the frame of the car?
I don't think the radar was attached to the bumper so I would say no.
I have the same broken fog lights where did you buy the fog housing?
I got them from here www.carparts.com/details/Honda/Civic/Replacement/Fog_Light/2017/SET-REPH107707.html?TID=gglpla&origin=pla&gclid=Cj0KCQjwzIzWBRDnARIsAAkc8hEfdQGN_BGAUdtamaK1I4Q4Q0P6RhYeKfd5PmzmdtQRu4srzMHOEYwaAiDnEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Which civic do you have I have the ex-t.
Do you think the fog lights is the same thing on ex-t models?
Michael Poyaoan, the one in the video is a 2017 Hatchback Sport Touring.
Did you disconnect the battery before? Or is there no need?
No, there is no need to disconnect the battery.
Hey do you know if a ebay fog lens will fit on the oem housing of the fog lights? thank you
Sorry man I do not know. Your best bet is to ask the seller if they fit OEM or not.
Thank you 🙏🏼
My fog light broke the exact same way. Thats just annoying
Yes it's definitely annoying.
Are you Devin's dad??
Haha...yeah.
