@@MarcelH666 it is the most reacted to MV on YT....and ofcourse it brings an entire horde of filterbubblers with it and can jumpstart a reaction channel....that's probably why it's so popular not just under the fans but also with content creators.
@@MarcelH666 Well it's the usual starting point for Nightwish because it's relatively accessible to people who aren't into Metal. There are, of course, many other Nightwish songs, but they're mostly heavier, or unrepresentative ballads.

Floor Jansen is a Dutch woman This woman was still unknown 10 weeks ago in the Netherlands, a handful of metal fans in the Netherlands already knew her from Nightwish,After Forever, ReVamp. Rock Metal Symfonische Metal is ignored on the radio and TV in the Netherlands. Floor wanted to join the program the best singers because Henk Poort also participated, Floor is a big fan from Henk Poort! In the last episode the best singers they teamed up as a duet, Phantom of the opera was a wish of Floor Jansen as a duet with Henk Poort. Floor Jansen unknown in the Netherlands has changed 10 weeks to floor in super known! if there is one person in the Netherlands who deserves that, THATS Floor Jansen!

any nightwish fan/follower has known her since 2013 or even before. 2013 was her nightwish debut and before that she was in After Forever.
The problem with that is that I was unable to get tickets to go to Amsterdam and see them do this live. Can we please calm down because us long time fans need to get our tickets, we're addicted.

@@theconfidentsinger7477 just take the whole concert! She and the band (which she joined in late 2012 when the singer got sick) just keeps the audience in the palm of their hand.
So many talented musicians.... they also have another great singer in the band. Marco does som growling, but also has a very sweet but mature chest voice.
If you want to know what stage presence is, just binge watch Floor and you're an expert.

This might be one of the most genuine reactions to this song that I've seen yet. The look you had when Floor started singing said it all. You're absolutely correct when you say that the performance deserves to be enjoyed - Floor and Henk have ruined any other performance of this song for me as no other version comes close to this one. Now that you've experienced your first Floorgasm you MUST check out the Nightwish song Ghost Love Score from their performance at Wacken Open Air as other Nightwish fans are beginning to point out. Even though Floor was not the vocalist on the original recording, she has taken it and made that song her signature moment since she joined the band.

I just found this video yesterday. I have been a Nightwish fan for years, I am enjoying watching others experience the magic of Floor. Henk was fantastic, and together with Floor, it's perfection. I really enjoyed your reaction, you don't review this song, you let the tears flow and enjoy the beauty.

The most amazing examples for Floor's stage presence despite this right here are the following Nightwish performances:
- Ghost Love Score (Wacken 2013) -> incredible audience control and overall most awesome show and absolute must watch!
- The Poet and the Pendulum (Wembley) -> she "plays" with the lyrics in a quite a breathtaking way here (she always does, but in this one even more so)
- The Greatest Show On Earth (Tampere) -> different kinds of stage presence, vocal styles, overall an incredible ride both musically and visually

If you want to enjoy some more, you're cordially invited to review the Queen of Stage Presence (ah bah, let's not mince words, let's simply call her the Goddess) in her band, Nightwish. Should be a feast for someone who values stage presence. Not to mention that she's the best female vocalist currently singing in popular music.
Don't forget Henk Poort to give some credits. They bring each other to a higher level.

When it comes to Floor she has the voice of a true goddess. Her type of singing can't be matched.

It was as if Webber wrote this for the two of them and they nailed it!!!!
BTW Floor a/k/a Goddess of Metal has power, range, versatility and a stage presence that is remarkable and her concert in front of 80,000+ fans at the Wacken, 2013 Open Air Festival in Germany highlights that stage command she has and her crowd control with her symphonic metal band Nightwish, the best LIVE band anywhere.

Thank you for sharing this moment with us. This is a quite hard song to listen to and not get hit really, really hard. Both Hank and Floor are so very good - top notch singing and top notch stage presence. Why pay for TV or cinema when YT brings us these golden moments.

When I saw the title of your channel, and that you were going to cover this performance with these two amazing singers, Floor Jansen, the "Valkyrie Queen" of symphonic metal and Henk Poort, the original Dutch "Phantom of the Opera"...ooooh boy this felt like a match made in Valhalla! I'd like to see you react to "winner" from this show, or her going WAY outside her comfort zone with Que Se Siente ... or her basically kicking us all in the groin with "I don't know about love"; not a dry eye in the house.
Shallow is a good choice too, since she sings it TWICE on the show. Once solo, and on the last episode of the show as a duet with Tim Akkerman.
It's ridiculous the number of jaw dropping performances we've seen out of Beste Zangers the past what... seven or eight weeks?

How am I going to review this? Not. Just lean back and enjoy the show. Henk is a seasoned opera singer with loads of experience, including the Dutch version of The Phantom. And Floor is the best metal singer in the world with an excellent stage presence. She is the lead vocalist of Nightwish, the biggest Symphonic metal band AND the best live band in the world. Two heavyweights. You said it yourself. You don’t review them. You enjoy them.
Oh, and prepare for the Nightwish army. Brace for impact! 😉

What's more shocking about Vilja Lied, is that she was the first one to sing that night, so no-one knew what to expect from her!
But I would say to react to all of them. Mama, Vilja Lied, Que se Siente (especially this, seeing that this was her first time doing anything in Spanish, including speaking it), and Winner.

@@theconfidentsinger7477 You genuinely should be! See, Floor is known all around the world, especially from Nightwish, but she is completely unknown in her own country. Pop has more influence in the Netherlands than anything else, so the only two people who knew ANYTHING of her (and that was just by name) were Henk and Tim, and none of them had ever heard her sing. so when she hit the stage with Vilja Lied, and that operetta being a song that Henk's mother would sing to his father and leave his father in tears, it really hit home.. and left the other singers picking up their jaws from the floor (pun intended)!

The sound of silence Henk did in Beste Zangers and this performance of Phantom where (to this date) probably the only 2 times Henk sang with distortion in his career.

It deserves to be enjoyed. Absolutely! I originally watched this for Floor. And every time I see/hear it I appreciate Hank more. It was a true duet, and he played the phantom so well and PUSHED the angel of music. And that is what the phantom character did in the play.

Well, in this case I could argue the opposite. Before this show Floor didn't get enough attention within the Netherlands, whereas she's insanely famous in other countries.

Well Anneke van Giersbergen is known because of her work with Devin Townsend for example, Within Temptation, Epica has a large fanbase outside the Netherlands. I agree with Heathen Pride and if you listen to stuff from Anneke and Epica you would notice that Floor isn't an exception, but the Dutch media is full of s.... The only decent rock act that get some airplay might be Kensington.

Your reaction was priceless, the look of confusion, enjoyment, and being attacked with those beautiful voices and high notes again and again, you looked so vulnerable. You may as well have just ended the video there without saying a word because your face said it all. But thank you. Floor has a voice that just gets under your skin. It gives you goosebumps and for some reason that angelic voice goes right through your soul in such a way it makes you cry. An absolutely beautiful, powerful, and entertaining performance.
