Don't know if you already know this, but Floor asked Henk to do this Duet... Henk said yes, but on one condition and that was that he would perform this song with Nightwish when they are next in the Netherlands (nov. 2020, concert already sold out :( ) Floor answer to that was a fullblooded YES... so that also happened in this episode

Wasn't the pre announced tour locations sold out like in 2 days or something? I basicly got the notice while off to work(different city) and when I came back home within 30 hours or so they was already sold out.
This does heavily imply that Phantom of the Opera is going to be on the setlist- and given Floor and Marco's existing chemistry (for the shows Henk won't be there for) I can't wait

Just to comment on an old video. Nightwish had the Netherlands Ziggo Dome concerts recently. And yes, they did indeed perform Phantom of the Opera with Henk Poort! Beautiful and touching for Floor especially!

All were pretty damn good AND willing to and succeeded in stepping out of the comfortzone. Even those dutch schlager music singers did damn well, contrary to what I thought. Definitely worthy of the televizier ring.

Henk learned to sing with distortion *that week* in order to do 'Disturbed's version of 'Sound of Silence'. Opera doesn't use it, he'd never needed it before.
Best reaction to this song. Broke it down nicely and unlike many others who react also giving credit to Henk's brilliant performance. Most other reacters just idolize Floor here. They were both absolutely perfect in this duet. Thank you for the emotional and well rounded reaction!
How much fun did these two have doing this duet? Henk never EVER had this much fun doing this duet with anyone before Floor and Floor, well a chance to sing with her idol and she didn't let him down. Floor's musical theater classes sure came in handy for this duet!! While the opera purists will complain, this was an operatic presentation with rock/metal influences and it was awesome. Henk and the distortion (a NO-NO for opera singers I am sure) shows how much fun he was having here. He did this as long as he can appear on stage with Nightwish at their November, 2020 concert in Amsterdam , which is sold out already. Also Floor is doing a 9 date mini tour in the Netherlands in January, 2020 and Henk is doing it with her so this has to be on the set list for sure! I, like many, will miss this show (Beste Zangers) as there is nothing else like this on TV or cable or the Internet. No competition just different genres showing respect and admiration and singing one another songs and now the grand finale with the duets. Well Denise Hofs translation shows will get a lot of re-runs after this night I am sure. There has to be a double CD or DVD from this show and Floor has to do a CD or DVD with the mini tour as a lot of this show's songs will be in those shows. BTW great reaction and review , you reaction was perfect and this was truly musical theater in a small studio..how about the studio band (Floor is using them on her mini tour, total class and appreciation as always) they were great through this entire show!!

Floor and Henk knocking reacters out the park by the bus load 🤯🤯🤯. That whole song was a deeply moving religious experience - phenomenal. Floor seems to have been holding back a little on the other shows. Now she lets rip, showing what she can really do and has the others picking their jaws off the floor. I'm so glad it had a similar impact on you. When I first saw it I was cheering and clapping by the end. We know the note is due and were all saying "Come on Floor, you can do it" like someone running for a winning try in rugby. Exhausting but fantastic.
I keep watching it! Your mimic, face expressions, sounds but especially your reaction building up, building up like her voice and then the explosion cumulating into 'DO IT'...love every second of it!
Their chemistry in this duet is amazing. Watching two great singers sung a great song and they killing it with the performance like that is completely blow my mind. That's one of many reason why I love Floor, when she does a duet she's able to create a good chemistry so they can show us that they're compliment each other on their performance.
I thought I was the only one haha!! Yesterday I watched it on television and I was like wtf just happend. But today I've re-watched it over and over again, and it hits me harder and harder everytime. This was a masterpiece and I'm proud to have witnessed it in my life.

This was a wonderful performance, I've watched it tons of times now. I've been waiting for certain of my favourite vocal coach reactors to get on it. I love your work, Rebecca! I watched this at the station and now again on the train, and I'll probably watch it again as I walk to work. This has to be the top of my favourite RVA reaction vids.
The world has a growing infatuation with Floor and her talent... and I'm right there with them. The best part of all is that from everything I've seen online and in interviews, she seems like a genuinely good and caring person. The world needs more of those.

This {Floor-Henk performance & RVA reaction} exceeded even my wildest hopes! The season began with Floor singing a song from an operetta for Henk and ended with Floor's Christine singing for Henk's Phantom of the Opera. It also began with me knowing and loving only Floor and ended with me loving the whole cast & show.

How much fun did these two have doing this duet? Henk never EVER had this much fun doing this duet with anyone before Floor and Floor, well a chance to sing with her idol and she didn't let him down. Floor's musical theater classes sure came in handy for this duet!! While the opera purists will complain, this was an operatic presentation with rock/metal influences and it was awesome. Henk and the distortion (a NO-NO for opera singers I am sure) shows how much fun he was having here. He did this as long as he can appear on stage with Nightwish at their November, 2020 concert in Amsterdam , which is sold out already. Also Floor is doing a 9 date mini tour in the Netherlands in January, 2020 and Henk is doing it with her so this has to be on the set list for sure! I, like many, will miss this show (Beste Zangers) as there is nothing else like this on TV or cable or the Internet. No competition just different genres showing respect and admiration and singing one another songs and now the grand finale with the duets. Well Denise Hofs translation shows will get a lot of re-runs after this night I am sure. There has to be a double CD or DVD from this show and Floor has to do a CD or DVD with the mini tour as a lot of this show's songs will be in those shows. BTW great reaction and review , you reaction was perfect and this was truly musical theater in a small studio..how about the studio band (Floor is using them on her mini tour, total class and appreciation as always) they were great through this entire show!!

Best part at the end when Henk momentarily breaks character and is blown away by the power of Floor's voice. He knew she was good, but not THAT good.

We know the note is due and were all saying "Come on Floor, you can do it" like someone running for a winning try in rugby. Exhausting but fantastic.
I keep watching it! Your mimic, face expressions, sounds but especially your reaction building up, building up like her voice and then the explosion cumulating into 'DO IT'...love every second of it!
Their chemistry in this duet is amazing. Watching two great singers sung a great song and they killing it with the performance like that is completely blow my mind. That's one of many reason why I love Floor, when she does a duet she's able to create a good chemistry so they can show us that they're compliment each other on their performance.
The more times I watch this performance the more emotional I get. And you didn't help this time either, watching you made me lose it even more!

It was a fantastic performance. It's a song that transcends the genre of opera, and they absolutely nailed it.
The world has a growing infatuation with Floor and her talent... and I'm right there with them. The best part of all is that from everything I've seen online and in interviews, she seems like a genuinely good and caring person. The world needs more of those.
Nightwish should cover this again with Floor!
They will be, at least once. Henk will be a guest during at least one of the Nightwish shows.

Info about the show: “Every one of those people on the couches were other Dutch vocalists. They took turns each week essentially serenading one of the other artists. They each would take songs from the catalog of the singer "on the couch" or that influenced them somewhere in their life and they would perform it with their own spin. Floor being from Nightwish, After Forever, Revamp, Ayreon, Star One, etc did amazing jobs. The week she was on the couch it is worth noting that ONLY the guy (Tim) referred to as the "Ramones t-shirt guy" flipping his hair did a Nightwish song (his remake of Nemo). Though Henk Poort did Disturbed's version of "The Sound of Silence" in that episode. This performance here is from duets for this episode (BZ season #12).It is also interesting that *Floor* is in what is with no contest the largest act any Netherlands born vocalist is in, but *she was virtually unknown to the people of the Netherlands.* Until this show. This {Floor-Henk performance & RVA reaction} exceeded even my wildest hopes! The season began with Floor singing a song from an operetta for Henk and ended with Floor's Christine singing for Henk's Phantom of the Opera. It also began with me knowing and loving only Floor and ended with me loving the whole cast & show.

Until a few months ago I didnt know who Floor was so I wanna thank you Rebecca for introducing me to Nightwish and the amazingly stunning voice that Floor has.
