Nice racing boss and boss!
Cheers buddy
Thanks for the snippet at 6:13 😊
Great video guys, il try and pop over to say hi at the next round 👍🏻
Amazing to catch a glimpse of my old mate Stephen Fabray. 👍
Hi Stephen
Great to meet you guys.
Carl, I Asked around and apparently the 1080 ESC solution is to press the OK button twice on the program card when changing a setting. Also the Sanwa mx6 issue can be resolved by ensuring your ESC is set to 6v, as the receiver needs 6v to operate correctly, as it is a High Voltage reciever. Not possible with a 1060 (set at 4.8v), but with a 1080 you can alter the bec voltage setting to 6v. Hope this works for ya and hope to see you again in December.
Chippie tuesday's are awesome too, huge hall for a weekday club night. really impressive
Great club Steve is a great bloke
Great video enjoying the pit walk... A real variety of equipment across the classes 👍👍👍
Something for all ages and budgets
Good coverage of what looked like a fun event.
We had a 😆 laugh
Brilliant video again it was really good to meet you
Cheers buddy
Wow, what a track! And some really good racing and nice varied classes too, brilliant stuff!!
Super track … cheers Barry
Nice to meet and chat with both of you, hope to see you at the next round 👍
Had a great time
Was you to meet so many people
I wish you would show some of the races in full. It would be really good to see you guys in action. It doesn't have to be in the same video either - a separate race video would be awesome.
That’s planned👍
Brilliant 😀 Looking forward to that. Love your content.@@PopalongRC
Just ordered my first TT02, it's not a popular class in Australia but I didn't want to spend big cash and it's just about having fun for me.
Eventually I will move up to the more expensive cars.
That’s how we all start …. Hahahaha
So no mention of where you finished in your respective finals! Nice video
Follow up video on the studio will give you all that
@@PopalongRC cool 😎
You guys are definitely Next Leval racetrack commentators...
Cheers blue
If only we still had access to this kind of racing in the Medway towns.
We had to travel for several hours for this one.
@@PopalongRC Yeah did the Chippenham run a few times back in the old Tamiya Eurocup days.
Great video. Awesome track. I love how you guys get permission to use the gymnasium...
It is our only option as weather is bad and we don’t have permanent tracks
It is our only option as weather is bad and we don’t have permanent tracks
Please take the time to go to the ETS International if you get a chance, it's amazing!
It is one for our wish list
Have you guys considered "Popping Along" to the Aldershot winter series? (or summer when it is actually summer). It's a great permanent outdoor track!
It is on our Popalong list for sure
Got to splash out and upgrade that old soldering iron to a Hakko FX888D for 155 quid and a yeah racing servo saver if that's allowed to be used. Really want to try some carpet racing I found one it's a bit far but going to take a look you guys have inspired me.
Maybe Santa could get us one
@PopalongRC you should ask him they are one of the most popular and best soldering irons with many tips available worth it of Sanata can get you one 😀
Great to see you guys again. Thanks for making a little boys dream come true
Great to catch up
That’s Oliver……. 😂
Haha
When are you going to pop along to Bracknell 😂
We just need more time …
Great video, can i ask is your 1080 a V1? from memory this issue was discussed on crawler forums a few years ago, it seemed the 1080 didn't like some hotter motors, was causing rigs to flip or roll when coming down from high speed, even missing the braking part and going into reverse when using F/B/R mode. I thought running a tamiya super stock BZ (23T) i might be alright (Procat classic 2S with F/B mode), but no, not long after the same issues started. Rumour was the V2 1080 was meant to fix this, i haven't looked into it yet cheers and best wishes.
Think it is v2 as not had it for long
@@PopalongRC thanks for reply, guess i'll be looking elsewhere for my next esc. cheers.
Lots of people were running them . I was just not having any luck
@@PopalongRC Looking into it yours is the V1, after watching your video again (remembered to give it a like this time) @ 12.33 your 1080 decal reads crawler brushed, same as mine here, the V2 only reads "brushed" also at the capacitor end the v1 under quicrun reads wp crawler brushed where the V2 only reads 1080v2 Brushed. all V2 images used for this comparison were from HW website, other than the decals the v1/v2 is identical it appears. This gives me hope, as the 1080 v2 if sorted would be an awesome esc for the money. Again thanks for all you do Mark and Carl, best wishes AB.
Whats the best car & chassis to race? Im a tamiya fan lol
stupid question from the US but what's with the yellow vests?
Good question, it’s to do with the BRCA, you only really need to wear them for marshalling but most people keep them on all day.
Can a 'Joe Public' turn up and just watch these( dont mind paying to get in ) or is it a closed door *wink wink , nudge nudge to view ?
This event took place in sports centre so lots of people stopped to watch … most clubs have open doors for people to come in and learn about the hobby
Can’t believe you guys are scared to come to Stotfold…. It’s not far from you either
Not scared just busy ….
