Was about to do this but with corksport lowering springs and adjustable dampening struts on my Mazda 6 but I pussied out at the last second on the frontspring compression bit. 😢 I’m terrified of spring compressors. I’m taking my front struts to a shop instead and letting them do the terrifying spring compression bits and then I’ll just install the struts onto the car again. I’ll do everything on my car. Messing with widow makers is the one thing I can’t bring myself to do.

So i know this is 3 years old, but when using a coil compression tool this is not a super safe way to do it. You should go by hand, not with an impact or driver to prevent uneven tension and as a result the compressor slipping off the spring, and you shouldn't be in the path of either end of the spring, work beside it horizontally so if anything fails the spring doesn't kill you.
