    Another good video.
    Those H&R springs are a pretty good low. It's a shame there aren't any more aggressive drops with springs lower than 2 inches, you gotta get coilovers for that, it seems.
    I was planning to do this but with Tein springs, its nice to see it's not that hard.
    I see your dad has a Short Ram intake, he's gettin mad power with that on!

      I believe if anything went lower it would probably ride like ass, I think springs are good to retain comfort

    I want to install coilover for my 06 mazda 3. Do you recommend to install coilover or just lower ring?

  • @rcisracecarsinsheds3342

    Colton, it looks like you've installed the MPS kit, reason i'm saying this is there is a white dot next to the part number on the front spring which means it's stiffer, rear spring has a yellow dot which means it's lower, this will be why it's sitting higher in the front. (Ex H&R distributor from New Zealand).

    • @ColtonRichter
      @ColtonRichter  Год назад +1

      Appreciate the insight, I double checked part numbers and everything and the box is labeled for this specific car, Speed has a different part number.

      @@ColtonRichter I reckon it's possibly a mixup as to what springs are in the box, comes down to the white dot next to the part number, non turbo doesn't have that in our listing over here MPS does due to heavier front axle weight, be worth asking the H&R guys over there, that aside, great video's :)

    Not sure why when I put my into “check fitment for vehicle” it says they don’t fit my exact model, which is scaring me from buying some coilovers. Any help would be greatly appreciated

    also do you recommend lowering springs or coil-overs for daily driving ? i drive specifically a 2007 Mazda Axela Hatchback. (1st Gen)

      Tame, daily driving lowering springs are a great option. These are H&R's

  • @chriscole9621

    Fyi this is the same for the mazda 5. Just got a 5 speed one and im probably gonna go with the meganracing ones for a 1.75 inch drop
    Also on the mazda 5 the spring rates in the rear are higher in the 5 so make sure if anyones buying springs for a 5 you get springs made for the 5
